Title: Wallet address missing. Post by: psjw4450 on March 09, 2014, 05:09:44 AM I had my computer crash and before that I had backed up my wallet.dat. I reloaded the new wallet on the new hard drive and it pulls up all my transactions except the ones after 12/30/13. An address is also missing which had a decent amount of bitcoins on it. I looked in the block chain and the coins are still there. I tried a rescan multiple times with no result. If anyone can help me with this I will be offering a 1.5 BTC reward.

What is the error blockchain.info gives you? What are the addresses you have bitcoins at? Does getaddressbyaccount show those addresses? (I've never used this command, so not sure if it will tell you anything useful) Or can you use pywallet to list all the addresses that your wallet.dat contains private keys for? This is what blockchain.info is showing after import attempt. Wallet decrypter returned empty response. Rescan has been tried several times. Title: Re: Wallet address missing. You only lose coins if you send btc or create a recieving address more than 100 times combined without backup up your wallet. Hopefully you didn't do this and still have your private keys.
