Title: Asus P104-100
Post by: Hyp0crit on November 27, 2018, 07:56:23 AM
There is very few information about this card when it comes to mine other coin's than Ethereum. Have someone tested P104-100 with much more algo's and coins and what are the result's.

I ordered one for test aswell. According to short google session: This card seems to be basically 1070 with 4GB GDDR5X memory along with memory opmizations. Even if the site I bought it from states the GPU is 1080, it's not. For ethereum performance should be around 40MH/s, other than that I didn't find that much information. Hopefully I get the card soon. :)

If you could run test's for more uncommon algos that would be nice!

We have over 100pcs of these, mostly mining RVN,ETH,BCI.. pretty decent cards in overall

Do you mind posting hashing result for RVN?

Yoi can do that with winminer, they have a lot of algorithms to choose from and test the card, it should not go anywhere above 40 mhs for all eth related algorithms. However it should excel in Nvidias other friendly algorithms. I too am curious to see the performance of this card in these areas.

p104-100 is just like the same as 1070 but they optimize this GPU for mining so there is a little improvement on hashing I think 10% to 30% improvement on hashing.

I'm sure that this card could get around 8mh/s to 10mh/s this is just my own estimation for x22i algo to mine SUQA coin.

You can check the other hashrate speed on other algos from here https://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/p104-100-mining-gpu/

Of course!

Here is when i look from AwesomeMiner (z enemy miner, latest, Intensity 20):

Now they are selling for more but still preowned at a 365 dollars including shipping doesn't look that bad. I was searching for the P104-100 and you can check the results from Ebay. We are not in the best position to start mining right now but if you are obsessed go ahead and buy some of these good mining cards

eBay's going to be your best bet if you're looking for the lowest price you can get on these cards. Newegg does sell the MSI P104-100, but it's priced at a pretty hefty $419 USD. (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137334&Description=p104-100&cm_re=p104-100-_-14-137-334-_-Product) Alternatively, with a listing like this one on eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-x-GPU-NVIDIA-Gigabyte-P104-100-4G-GDDR5X-4GB-256Bit-Memory-Mining-Card/183545253875?hash=item2abc264ff3:g:pLwAAOSwtilb87hf:rk:1:pf:0) , you can get these cards in used condition for around $270 USD including shipping.

BitNand (https://www.bitnand.com/product-page/nvidia-p104-100-mining-card) also sells these cards, albeit at $435 USD.

it is simply way faster then the 1070 due to better memory/Bus

Besides this, there are much better listings on eBay that don't have shipping from Thailand or wherever the seller for that card is located. Just after doing a quick search, I was able to locate a listing for a GTX 1070 at around $210 after shipping (https://www.ebay.com/itm/PNY-NVIDIA-GEFORCE-GTX-1070-XLR8-8GB-GDDR-5-Overclocked-Dual-Fan/132874411825?hash=item1eefee9f31:g:ufUAAOSwuUlb9Lld:rk:1:pf:0), and this ships from the US so shipping should be much quicker to anywhere in the US.

eBay has very good buyer protection for all payment methods, so even if a listing happens to be illegitimate, the most you can lose is just some time.

Just checked and my distributor have over 80pcs of these in stock. For price i think it would be near 200€ /pcs because im feeling they want to sell them and get rid of them. Im also located in Finland.

I had good results overclocking the core up to 160! however not all GPUs are equal so you may have to set it lower for some. 0 on mem is good, there's no point in downclocking it really.

$ 349 is a little expensive in the course of crypto-currencies and mining in General. it is better to buy conventional amd graphics cards. for me it will still be more profitable.
