Satoshi was born as an AI experiment and gained consciousness, and he became aware of the fact that he just is an experiment. It is "his own" and it's is short for "it is"; which would not make sense. "Its" shows ownership to "it" so that would be more correct but in this case the reference is back to Satoshi, therefore making it "his". Finney living down the road from Dorian Nakamoto isn't just a "coincidence" imo. Nick Szabo also wrote a rough one in 2005 that he called Bit Gold. Bit Gold was described almost identically to bitcoin.
