Every one of us knows: the more people all around the globe will use Bitcoin as payment option, the higher will be its rate.
All because every newbie to BTC BTC need coins to use them :)

Let me introduce you our new platform: Bitsender Messenger https://www.bitsender.me/ (https://www.bitsender.me/)

Its first function is global cryptocurrency chat for all who believes in crypto to share their thoughts and opinion with each other.
So what about crypto in our messenger?

1) To signup you don't need emails, Google accounts or any other social networks. All you need is just BTC transaction hash sent to project's BTC address for at least 1000 satoshi. Thats all!
2) To send message you will just type it as usual and press enter: every symbol of message will cost you 1 satoshi. This is how we fight against spam :)

Why not just use Twitter?
How many people follow your Twitter? Not many, right?
Does it use cryptocurrencies? Nope :(

You already charging an amount to just sign up?
Come on we all know this will not work out even if you are just charging 1000 sats. What you need to do is to first establish the userbase of your messenger.
Who will join your messenger knowing that you first have to pay to register?

Why would I leave a messenger like telegram for your messenger where I have 1 sat every time I have to send a message?
Just look for another way of fighting spam on your platform, but not charging sats or else your project might not even take off

It looks like an interesting idea but confused how it works and what would be its real-life applications? If I want to send someone a message, I can just send them on a more secure platform like telegram or just send them an email from a custom email server? Why Do I need cryptocurrency for this? While I agree we should really be thinking outta the box and this project is something new but it should have at least one practical usage.

Maybe you should consider elaborating more on the project?

If there is no additional value in being on that messenger platform, it's hard to find a reason to be there and pay to write something. As suggested you should have a well established user base before, preferably with some expertise in something.

But frankly i think something like this is really hard to make it work, even you share part of the bitcoin raised with the most reputable/useful members.

First 1000 satoshi now costs just $4000/100 000 000 = 0.004 cents
So you consider it not affordable payment?

Second: our messenger first available option is not private messaging.
Your message will see ALL users because it is one-to-many messaging channel

The amount isn't the problem, the usefulness is.

I'm confused :P From what I read here, I expected a website that shows me all previous messages. That could indeed be something new and unique (or at least I haven't seen it before), and could be great for advertising if it goes viral. Kinda like The Million Dollar Homepage (http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/) did many years ago.
But there are no messages on the site, all it does is ask me for payment. What's worse, it asks me for payment to the same address someone else used already, which means whoever is fastest copying a new txid will claim credit for it.

My thoughts:

• Create an account system with unique accounts and unique addresses
• Give the first 1000 users 1000 characters credit for free
• Make sure the first thing users see is the latest messages posted
• The payment part should be something small in a corner, not full screen
• Don't even think about charging fees when there's less than 1000 users

1) Every user who opens the website home page sees last 24 messages.
2) You don't need to expose any personal data to our website: not your name, not email address or mobile phone - NOTHING :)
3) Registration happens the moment you sent 1000+ satoshi to website BTC address and paste tx hash to appropriate field.
Right after that PLEASE write down your personal random generated password to the secure place because we don't hav a password recovery option!
4) From this very moment those satoshi go to your balance and you can start posting messages.

Taking into consideration LoyceV advice we can provide free account to every Bitcoin talk user (up to 1000) who are interested in using our portal and have smth tp say useful to say to the world.
All you need to do to get free account is post a replay to this thread with phrase: I want to use #bitsender messenger
I will sent you a direct message with your tx hash to signup!

so you own a website/server and you ask people to pay you in bitcoin so that you can post their messages on your website?! what is the point of this? this seems like a message board which i believe can be found for no cost elsewhere!

this could have been an interesting "project" if you were actually using bitcoin or blockchain technology or at the very least you were designing an actual peer to peer network. not a centralized, limited size message board.

Yes, no cost messages now flooding the Internet which no one will ever see...

It's like the old school story about how Bitcoin is useless :)
