Did you buy that account at some point in 2017?

No, I was out of crypto for some time, but I returned to the forum in the middle of 2017 aproximatelly. After this, I started to be active in the forum.

That is Weird... Remember that Theymos must receive like 3000 pm per day so he is a bussy guy(Do not spam him or could be worse). I feel you dude. A Sr.member rank  it is hard to achieve

Yeah, it sucks. I really need my account back. I don´t like to start again with another alternative account. I hope the mods could give me a solution. Do you know if they see these threads?

Unfortunately, if you create another account it is considered ban evasion unless you only post in meta about your ban.


Hopefully, someone can shed some light as to why your account was banned. I know that bumping a thread more than once a day can get you banned, but that is only a temporary ban. (Unless you are a repeat offender and have been banned several times before.) I believe your account was permanently banned.

Also you cant do that as it will be considered as Ban evasion. Don't hesitate to see forum rules. Mods can see your post if a mod read your post then the mod may tell you the reason. But probably mod will not/can't unban.

Unfortunately, it has not been revealed the exact reason for your ban. It might have a chance to appeal. Hopefully, hilariousandco (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=164822) will notice this and can shed some light. Or someone may come along who is proficient and willing to check your post history for possible copy/pasting infractions(plagiarism.)

You're not going to be banned for enquiring about a ban (unless you keep spamming the same thing after you've got the answer). I searched the username in the staff forum, my messages and the report queue and I can't find anything so I'm not sure what the ban is for.

I contacted that email address but I didn´t receive a reply. As I said in the OP, I used the private messages to reply or contact some devs. I used the same text 3/4 times to reply them so maybe that´s the reason to be considered a spammer or something like that? It´s pretty weird.

You got a reply. Nobody can tell you anything else if they don't know what the ban was for.

That means I should not keep insisting on this, trying to recover my account? You are a mod, maybe you can help me to resolve this problem. Thanks.

Pretty weird, do they check messages of 2017? I received the ban after sent those private messages to different devs. I´m pretty sure that was the reason, but I would like to receive an answer from them at least. 1 month and no reply.

What difference does it make? Copypasta is a far more serious offense than PMs (unless you were sending malware).

If the reason was those 2 messages, then they should explain me that and answer my messages, like the rest of the people that deserves a reply, and give us a chance to appeal.

Proof of copypasta is the equivalent of "appeal denied".

I didn't know what your ban was for, but as above it's probably for copy and pasting and you likely won't be unbanned for it unless the policy changes.
