The staking difficulty is still over 40. It makes the time to generate the next block so long that the wallet thinks it's out of sync. Go to the debug console and enter getinfo. If the block count there = what's shown on the explorer you are synced.

Once the difficulty adjusts down to normal ranges, your wallet should stop saying out of sync.

Got my first payout from mining today.  Was some learning curves on how to get the coins since no one watches the ads 100% of the time.  Figured out that the browser has to be open and watching the ads.  Now I am getting coins like I should have been a week ago!  lol.   Live and learn.   This is super easy and no hardware required outside of your computer.

Already submitted request to lot of exchanges, but they are not still listed Surcoin for voting.  Only Xiphos exchange listed the coin for voting ( 1 vote/every 24 hours). This is a promising new exchange.

I wouldn't think there would be an issue with Surfcoin. I keep my smart TV off the network, because those Smart TVs are very chatty phoning home. If I were more interested, I'd put a pihole in place to stop this traffic.

I am surfing with one account and device. It happens when the second counter switches from 0 back to 300. Oddly, it doesn't increment the session coins, but it does add to the total coins.

Now mining is in its starting stage and the coin is listed in only one exchange. You can use all your devices to mine surfcoin now because the difficulty is very low. When surfcoin become more and more popular, the difficulty increases.  Will finalize difficulty calculation soon.

If you keep your smart TV off the network, how would it be possible to mine with it at the same time if you can't broadcast anything to the network?

I don't use the smart TV with surfcoin. I use an Amazon Fire tv that's connected to the TV to mine. It's not a surfcoin issue, I just don't like the smart TVs. It seems all TVs sold here are smart these days.

Damn I have to familiarize myself a bit with all this stuff. I haven't been dealing with Amazon Fire yet (not even heard about it >.<).

They're just little video devices, to let someone stream video. Roku is another one. But I would guess, that any of these devices, if they have a browser, would work for surfcoin. It's not doing anything particularly tricky on the browser end of things.

Surfcoin POW phase is over . Now POS only. Coins in the POW phase is using for the browser miner distribution

No. Browser mining is for ever. The rewards will come down according to the increase in difficulty.  The POW mining on the main chain is closed to prevent any attempt to mine with ASIC hardwares. No need to worry  :)

I find the concept of time-based mining to be very interesting. Instead of trying to constantly mess with algos to prevent ASICS, just use require a browser--problem solved.

I have not seen any Browser based mining coin really gain traction because it is very easy to game the system and not surprise that now the team have closed the mining. Good idea in theory but in practice difficult to implement, no browser based mining coin is even listed on the exchange which is another concern to me
