I keep seeing everyone talking about this update and how It's going to push the price to new heights etc. because It's going to have POS, new features etc. But the question is when? did the developers manage to set a date for this fork yet? It seem to be all talk at this point.

Following the community is a good way to get updates. Ethereum has several dedicated channels for discussions, I think the Reddit community is the most active one though.

Still waiting for the ETA od the ETH 2.0...
As the CEO said it will make the market value to rise.
POS os ETH will let more people hold of the tokens. that is why i keep buying at this low.
Pretty good to start the 2.0 at this low rate for the new holders get more profit!

There are no exact dates for Ethereum 2.0 yet.  By the end of next year, there may be some approximate dates, but in any case, this is another two years most likely.

I see someone has posted if that will be started next month but we need more clarification regarding this rumour. They are still actively discussing it and i thought that we will see ethereum will be so difficult to be mined at the end of next year. I guess Constantinople will have implemented before Q3 of next year.

I also think so, with the launch of ethereum 2.0 (ETA) I hope the ethereum value will rise. but the question is when will it be announced. if from a few weeks ago I only heard the word "Soon", but there was no exact date when the launch began. some even say this is only all rumors and will never be 2.0

Ethereum 2.0 has an organic quality that hopefully will contribute to how human organizations can improve but remain inclusive, but I don't know Ethereum 2.0 will help the price of ETH recover. I'm still waiting for the good news.

whether this will affect eth prices, maybe even decrease its popularity, seeing now eth has been defeated by ripple which is getting better, or even can improve eth quality for the future, no one can ensure

the conversation about the market is always crowded, it proves a lot of concern in the minds of each participant who is still a little knowledgeable about the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, in my opinion about the market that is currently weakening, it's understandable. there are ups and downs, as well as the law of causality, and there is also life and death, that is dynamics, and proves that cryptocurrency and blockchain are still alive and moving forward

If the developer release when exactly we don't know but it will be a good news, maybe disappointing. I'm personally very supportive though it was disappoint for the miners as me (entry to sharding become PoS)

But before over there, we should also look at its technical as on Github Dev before official release ethereum 2.0

Sounds like another marketing scheme I believe :P.  Why talk about the price when it is more important for it to be used by masses.  I believe this is just another aim to grab more money ( I have a funny feeling that there will be another fork here where the old blockchain continue like what happen in  ETH & ETC).  Besides there had been a lot of concern about POS, there had been  bugs unfixed in the current status yet, why go for another path that will lead to more bugs?

As good as the new features is, there hasn't been any estimated time set for the release of this new features, i am sure it will push up the price is the new features captivate the crypto enthusiast.

When talking about when renewing Ethereum 2.0, I think there is no real certainty. I just saw and read what was discussed in the discussion. In fact, I do not understand the features that will be a mainstay in the future Because I don't follow any community for now. But it seems like there are many people out there waiting for this. Including myself. Thank you.  ;D
