Waves recently launched apps for android users. This news has an impact on its price. Price already pumped more than 100% last 3 days. Do you think Waves will hit $5 within this December 2018? Please explain your opinion.

I have seen waves pumped 40% last 24 hours. It can happen. Now, Bitcoin price also going to be good. Most people talking about the next bull run will come as soon as possible. I personally believe waves has a huge potential in the next bull run.

I think a surge is good for the waves token and i want to believe that the app for android users has improved their usability and users immensely which led to high demand of wave and increase in price.

I also think 5$ is quite a big ask, but this is crypto currency and another 100% increase in price, will lead to waves at 5$ by year end.
There are further developments, and better prices to come

I should remind you about that could be a short-term pump. If that was increasing more than 40% in a day and that means if waves will have gotten more than 20% correction on its price.

Well, nothing is impossible, but I really can't say whether it will reach that price before this year ends. It's not predictable. But I must say that Waves has been a very good coin, right from time, which has the tendency to increase to that rate. But, I doubt if it will reach that price this year.

To tell the truth, I don`t know what Waves offers to the investors, what other platforms do not offer..
NEO, Stratis, ETH, Komodo..  they all have unique and own characteristics..
What Waves offer better then them?

Smart contracts projects are doomed long-term. Without registering as securities, there is no future for them. Right now, from project with smart contracts, I have only Komodo and Bitcoin Cash ABC(which has wormhole protocol enabling smart contracts). Thinking about selling those if they will be pumped.

Bitcoin Cash hard fork, BCH price raised. Stellar became a partner with Blockchain.com then Stellar surpassed EOS and BCH to take 4th place on the Coinmarketcap. Waves released new app for Android and its price raised significantly. And now we are waiting for ETH 2.0 to see its price recovers to $500  ??? It is a true market and impacted by "good news".

In this current market status, I really can't see this happening. A 100% pump in this market condition is a huge thing already and to be honest, it is surprising even with this kind of news, I don't think waves will even touch $3 let alone $5, if we were in normal market status I would say a pump of 300% is pretty much it compared to the news, hmm 300% would still be much.

I see Waves in the mould of Lisk with its platform but honestly I can't say if it would get to that $5 level this December considering the way the market is bleeding. But on its own, Waves is a good coin with solid team and use. It's a coin every trader should have a unit of.

No, I don't think the Waves price will reach $ 5 by the end of the year. Waves is one of the coins that I think will rise the most in this market. However, I think until February, the price of waves will  vary between 1.5-3 dollars. After that time the price of waves can rise big.

I think the reasons for price pump because waves updated mobile wallet, which now enables credit card purchase of Waves that can then be exchanged across the mobile exchange for Bitcoin and a host of other cryptos, Waves is a winner right now while much of the market seems stagnant or worse, I think everything is possible in cryptos, maybe whole market will pump later too

in my opinion, it is difficult if the waves prices touch $ 5 later this year. because the price of waves is not significant in the crypto market. even so far the waves price movements are only stagnant.

I think this is a pump and I don't expect a very long rise. zaen Bitcoin has not yet achieved a stable price, so I don't think there will be a prolonged rise in other altcoins.

Does not seem that it can reach to 5$ in just 25 days from now. It is at present 2$ around and even if it reaches 3$ it will be a big thing as almost more than 30% rise in some days is the best you can have it form Waves. Though from last couple of days it is rising a lot but feeling that it can drop as well in coming time.

It is funny to hear that. Last year we are dreaming that Waves will hit $100 or more. But now we only hope funniest price. I hope it will rise soon. I don't have too much Waves but I like it.

Let's not be overhyped about this thing, we all know that waves is a good platform, it is a great project with numerous breakthrough development in the blockchain field. But looking at the cryptocurrency market now, not just waves, even bitcoin is struggle to keep its current price, not to mention it is nearly impossible to reach its all time high. So, I do not say that waves price will not increase, but 5 USD is too much man. It will be so hard for waves to get that price by the end of this year.

Compared to Ethereum, waves are very weak altcoins. When the market falls, waves always drop very fast, and the total market value of waves is also very small, so it seems that it is very risky and not worth investing.

In my opinion it won't reach $5 because their platform moves too low . I hope they will come back over their platform and update it for a better responsive platform with fixed bugs

Let's take consideration of BTC value rather than considering USD value (because USD value is purely depending on how bitcoin is performing but in my opinion, BTC value will indicates the actual performance of waves). It was really a marvelous run to see waves jump from 25k satoshi levels 59k satoshi levels in bitterx. I have been watching it from 80k satoshi and bought some 2k waves when the prices trading around 70k. I guess in coming days we may have one wave to value more than 0.001 BTC as more development news are coming up. Really excited to watch more jumps.

To answer OP, when waves values around 0.001 BTC and BTC values around $5k levels then you will have waves prices around $5 and it may go up to 100x too in coming months as I am expecting 0.01 BTC values for one waves as BTC also may peak into new ATH in coming months.

I bought Waves for the price of 5 times more than they are now. I would really like them to grow in price so that I can sell them at least at 0.

This is one of the waves efforts to increase the trust of investors, indeed it is good to add applications on Android and hope to be able to make waves add investment. The current market situation is sluggish and tends to go down so many teams work hard to survive and continue to promote their coins to remain valuable.

It's hard for Waves to hit $5 this month but it's always possible in the long-term. I see the pumped of the Waves in the last three days and I admitted that it's a lot of profit for me although right now the price was down and it seems, the price is going to back to the bottom area before it increases again. There will be a lot of things that Waves needs to be done before the price can hit $5, but I am sure that if the team can work good for the project, then the price can jump to the higher price in the next year.

don't expect more on the increase in this period. currently the majority of crypto fall  "again" and this is the bad things that happen. though many new breakthroughs gave rise to crypto, but it's not a guarantee that it will be able to be great in a short time. Wave is a good coin and one of the cryptocurrencies that i have been following but for me this is not enough time for this to reach $5 value within this December.maybe this will took a long time before the goal attained

Which is really matter right now, the bearish is really strong and even some development has been provided and implemented the value still ain't go that high, small jumped still followed by quick dumped can't maintained the position and breaking or reaching 5$ a piece is far from reality, maybe it can double or more than a little from that when the market bounce back especially bitcoin, its a matter of time and how long supporters can hold.

During the last two weeks, the price of Waves went up by 100%, but after that most of this gain was lost. And I don't think that there is good future potential with Waves. The number of alts using that platform has gone down.

For the waves it is very hard to reach to that value if the market is not good but in a brighter market the price will be much higher. In this regard we all are sure because we all know that in the coming months the market will be good and all of the coins will rise in value much bigger.

I do not think so, because we won't see any market growth until the end of 2018. Waves will reach 5 USD during the next year, when the bulls will come back, but not before. Just wait for another months to see what happens.

Anything can happen in this space and when given a good condition. I have seen markets increase hugely over time, so in a way, no one can actually tell how things would end up as but one way or the other, the chances of waves increasing when the market generally is in a good state is pretty there. Nonetheless, markets are not predictable, so the only best thing we can do is to buy now, be patient, look at how far the market goes and know how you want to be treating the market from there. If ETH can move from about $6 to over $100 within a year, you know what can happen to any other market.

All cryptocurrencies lost a lot. I do not think, it will be correct to predict prices. Waves might not reach 5 dollars this year, sure, but the altcoin can do it later, in 2019. I guess, it can even reach $10.

Waves announced recently a new wallet. So the team is really working on their product. I think that it's possible to reach 5$ in this year, maybe at the beginning of 2019. Let's hope that waves will reach 5$

I just realized the waves coin has climbed to rank 32 in coinmarketcap, last time i see it was on below rank 40.
Although hitting $5 is possible, i don't think that is an easy task to accomplished by waves coin.

It is difficult to expect any increase until the end of this year. not just waves, but even the other coins would have been difficult to go up at this time. Thus many of them fall into a lower price as well as waves. Maybe if the target could be achieved in $5 next year.

I don't see it hitting $5 this year as that will require more than 200% to the current price and pumping due to the app launched to me is a way to manipulate coin , cos I don't see any good reason for price to pump all in the name of one event or doing what they are suppose to do, and now they launched the App and the price plument again , does that mean the App is useless now or are not in use again , so I see all these FA thing as a way to manipulate price and it is common in crypto now and we all need to change from that perspective and think of how to make the blockchain more useful not just money making thinking.

I really like all that Waves offers.. I really like its exchange interface and I like all the facets of what they are trying to do.. its hard to be bullish since its been around so long, but its hard to be bearish because it seems like such high quality work.

The way things are going it is more likely to hit 50 cents than 5 dollars. It is a really good project but is a real disappointment from an investment point of view. I don't think it is worth risking an investment in waves anymore as it has moved down the CMC rankings too much in the last year

I am.more preferred on Eth than waves. It can pump now but in the long run eth will have a good market price increase because it has a lot of demand due to many users using its platform or a trading pair.in the first place

I can still remember that I saw the posts of some people excited about the increase in price and were waiting for more increase and little do they know that there cannot be continual uptrend without retracing.
