Title: bitgoldenfx.com - Legit or scam ? Post by: TBH13 on December 05, 2018, 01:16:06 PM I was searching on google and came against this website- https://bitgoldenfx.com/page/home (https://bitgoldenfx.com/page/home). This is a social trading platform which includes cryptocurrencies, stocks, commodities, ETFs and more to invest in. Has anyone encountered with this platform? I want to know if this is a legit platform or not.
So whoever used this, could please advice me and let the community know how legit this website is :) Title: Re: bitgoldenfx.com - Legit or scam ? Post by: mk4 on December 05, 2018, 02:00:57 PM Couldn't find a review through simple Googling. Not 100% sure if it's a scam, but I would probably just stay away from it if I were you, just to be sure. For now, if you're planning on just simply trading cryptocurrencies, just use reputable ones like Binance[1] instead.

Even though they state that they are 'professional' and 'regulated' on their front page, you simply cannot take their word for it. As for as we know, they are operating in Cyprus, which if you are not in that country, even if they are regulated, it is difficult to get ahold of them if they an issue do arises. There are tons of other FX options, ETF trading sites out there that are more legit than this one. Although I'm not saying that this is a scam for sure, I believe that there is a high likelihood that it is given their generic website design and lack of reviews and proof that they hold a physical office, and that it's simply not worth it to even attempt to use them. Agreed! and to put it into simple terms, its proof or it didn't happen ¯\_( ͡⟃ ͜ʖ ⟄)_/¯ I checked the site and there's no such thing that backs that statement, including the "world's leading social trading network" - lies cause there's no reviews about them. But I did found some fake testimonials on their site. Lots of good exchangers in the market as of now but people do really loves to try out new or unknown ones but they are just basically playing with fire. Title: Re: bitgoldenfx.com - Legit or scam ? Post by: 1Referee on December 05, 2018, 11:11:50 PM The odd domain name itself is enough to make me avoid it without even doing research. Services trying to conduct fair business would do everything to pick a domain name that signals professionality and solidity as brand. bitgoldenfx signals throwaway domain.

Try to wait for longer period if there will be more reviews available in the future. How you encountered that site and began to have an interest? There are other related sites around, why here? There are also addresses given at contact page section. https://bitgoldenfx.com/page/contact-us - We aren't sure how legit it is. So again, don't used the site. Surely, scam review sites sites will have a clear information in the future. But for me I will already tagged it as "illegitimate" even without a valid basis. Title: Re: bitgoldenfx.com - Legit or scam ? Post by: leowonderful on December 05, 2018, 11:47:26 PM I personally wouldn't trust any exchange with my money unless the exchange happens to be well-established and has good, legitimate reviews from a good number of people- this exchange doesn't seem to have either of these things. I would stay away from this and use other exchanges like Binance if possible.
Many scam sites link addresses that they claim to be based out of, but some are actually just apartments and libraries that were likely randomly chosen to be put on the site. Google Maps doesn't have streetview for Cyprus, which is where the address for this exchange is said to be, however. Below are their contact details I found at the very bottom of the site if you want to do some more digging: Code: CONTACT US 45 Costa Anaxagora Street, Nicosia, CY2014, Cyprus Phone. Title: Re: bitgoldenfx.com - Legit or scam ? Post by: tmfp on December 06, 2018, 10:38:24 AM According to bgf's T&C's (https://bitgoldenfx.com/page/terms-and-conditions)(which are a mismatched font cut and paste), bitgoldenfx seems to be a trading name of Lead Capital Markets Ltd (http://www.leadcapitalmarkets.com/index.php)
Quote from: T&C These Regulations for provision of brokerage, investment and agency services on the Securities market (hereinafter the “Regulations”) determine the procedure, terms and conditions for provision of brokerage, investment and agency services by LeadCapital Markets Ltd (hereinafter the “Company”) on the financial market to any individual or legal entity that meets the requirements established by these Regulations (hereinafter the “Client”). Lead Capital Markets Ltd, however, doesn't seem to list bitgoldenfx as a trading name anywhere I could find. They have minimal web traffic 1,458 monthly web visitors. (https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/lead-capital-markets-ltd#section-website-tech-stack-by-builtwith) and Lead Trade Ltd (http://www.leadcapitalmarkets.com/leadtradeltd.php), a trading subsidiary, last year renounced (or was it pushed?) its CySec authorisation and remains under the supervision of the CySEC until it settles its obligations. This may be related to accusations of stealing clients money (https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/community/threads/topoption-com-leadtrade-ltd-is-stealing-money-of-their-clients.49272/) thru its Top Option.com subsidiary and/or some fuckery in Romania (https://www.leaprate.com/financial-services/fines/trade-com-parent-leadcapital-markets-fined-e30000-cysec-romania-client-issues/) for which it was fined by CySec.What all this means in the Great Scheme of Things is unclear (apart from the known fact that Cyprus is a financial slum), but there doesn't appear to a direct, externally provable link between BGF and LCM. That, coupled with the unsubstantiated claim Quote Bit Golden FX is the world’s leading social trading platform and the fake testimonials indicate to me that there's absolutely no reason to use or trust Bitgoldenfx.Title: Re: bitgoldenfx.com - Legit or scam ? Post by: dk013 on December 20, 2018, 10:47:08 AM This exchange is SCAM
I had been using this platform since the last 30days. When the day came for withdrawal which is $20,000 they want 15% of withdrawal amount upfront which is a one-time fee. That is bullshit why don't they cut from the amount already in the platform. I tried to contact support for the same. They only replied to my email once. Tried to connect directly with the contact numbers mentioned in about us. From which 2 numbers are switched off and 1 which is USA number no one picks it up. After continuous calling finally had a talk on USA number. I asked for company incorporation certificate and bank details. They don't have bank details and it has been almost a week still haven't received any word from them. Don't go for this exchange you will surely lose your money. |
