Title: LN's state?
Post by: MadGamer on December 05, 2018, 03:30:39 PM
There are some services already accepting it like Bitrefill and TorGuard even though developers of LND are saying that we shouldn't use it on the main net yet.

So my question, When should we expect to see LN stable release? ? I know that we already have wallets right now but since the user experience is not the main focus, they're not that easy to use.

Unfortunately not much info regarding an upcoming stable version but...

A week or so ago v0.5.1-beta came out:
https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/releases/tag/v0.5.1-beta

LN seems to be working for this blog as well:

Lightning Network is on fire lately

12500 channels (up 38% this month)
4000 nodes (up 9% this month)
450 BTC capacity (up 317% this month!)
Hundreds of apps & integrations
