From this specific wallet extension? Then why risk it if there is news about them inserting malware in their extensions?

I've never heard of it. But it doesn't look completely shady (just not completely reliable as well).

Did a 1 minute search on it, and it looks fine; though it's not open source.

Tell you what. Probably use it as a spending wallet(if you actually use TRX to spend) and for lower amounts; and if you own TRX that's worth quite a lot, then don't make the same mistake with the hack victims. Purchase a hardware wallet.

DON'T risk your money with strange wallets. You should use reputation established wallets here on TRON official website: https://tron.network/wallet?lng=en

It's among those wallets listed on Tron's official site so I think it safe... But as someone said above, if you planning to keep your Tron tokens for a long time... It would be worth spending on a hardware wallet.

Here are some points to not from the Tron official website:

TRON Wallet Notice

Before using the TRON wallet, please make sure you are aware of these points:
1.TRON wallets on all platforms are created by community developers and are only recommended on TRON's official website.
2.If you have trouble using TRON wallet, please contact its developer through the corresponding GitHub link.
3.Always remember that it is your responsibility to choose your wallet carefully and adopt good practices in order to protect your TRX.

Never heard of this wallet.

Why not just use the trustworthy wallets instead of risking your coins with a not so popular wallet? I visited their site and it says they are the leading crypto wallet on iOs and android.  ::)

You've actually created a bit of popularity for'em ;D,as I also did a quick search on them, I do not see anything wrong with it, it looks fine to me.

But judging by experience what looks OK,doesnt always turn out OK  ;D

So to be on the safer side, simply make use of tested and trusted wallets

I am using Cobo wallet and feel it is very good, they are 13 million $ startup, so it's hard to be a scam. They are giving random 70-400 TRONX, using the FZYID0 invitation code and leaving the wallet doge, I will give you 50 doge

If you plan to store in an online wallet.  Its a must to consider to a wallet if it is open source like electrum. Most online multi wallet is either partially open or fully closed source, this wallet does not provide private key and full transparency over your funds. But there is an only fully open source multiwallet available called HODLER, it may be the best to consider if you plan to hold multiple altcoins and token.

Had a quick look and it doesn't seem to bad, I mean it's used by lots of people so I can't imagine it's too shady.

Anyway, here's a link to a review:

Personally I use CoinBase and never had any issues.

I didn't heard about this wallet until now. If you plan to buy and to hold large amounts of bitcoin then better invest in a hardware wallet and your coins will be more safe and no one can steal them if you store in a safe place the passphrase of your hardware wallet.
