i have hold some komodo coins in binance exchange but their hardfork is coming up next on 15th of December and also coin rebranding on 31st December you may know it before. i just need advised should i sell them before hardfork or hold it. i am already in loss for that coins.
PLEASE SAVE ME!!!

Hold them, the whole market is approaching its absolute bottom. The Hard-fork and re branding could be timed perfectly to align with some sort of a reversal in the market.

Normally the project coin price rise when there are hardfork and rebranding coming up. Therefore, I will hold if I were you. It is just my personal opinion, please do your own research and make the decision.

99% of all projects and coins will die in the next months. So take a guess of what to do.

as far as i know the hard fork is not a fork that makes a new coin while the previous coin exists so there is no airdrop and since hard forks are risky, technically speaking there should be a big price drop as people cash out to prevent themselves from possible risks of the hard fork and price crashes.
this is not a guaranteed drop though! but it is good to be safe than sorry.

also rebranding so far has always led to a big pump. there is no logical explanation for this but so far it has happened in the altcoins that i know of! so it is safe to assume it can happen for this  coin too.

if i had to make a speculative guess then i'd say it is possible to see the big drop during the fork then after reaching a low price the pumpers may pick up a lot of cheap coins and then pump it prior to the rebrand.
something like dump until 16th then pump from then until 27-30th.

of course we are talking about pump and dump and they are not predictable so anything can happen.

just relax, you have choices that might be profitable and you must keep holding your coin and sell it when the pump occurs, so be patient.

Hold them since it is only a few days left before the fork and who knows maybe the fork coins will worth something, its an extra money for you then. After the rebranding, its upto you if you still want to stand by your losses or cut it early

If two ways are leading to the loss, why don't you hold it and hope for a luck. I guess if you sell it now, you will lose at least 50%, right?

Komodo is dumped like everything else, what are you asking about?) Hold or sell?) Sell, if you think you'll need this money in the nearest months. If not, hold, wait for the bull market. Forgot about it and just wait.

holding it is a good decision for you, hardfork is not always a hindrance but it can also be an advantage, the price might be better after hardfork, because it can be an increase in the probability of the coins you hold when this

Why you are going to sell them if you are going to receive another free coin from that fork? We can't save you but we can give you advise that you can consider as your option. But at the end, you are still the one that holds your fate by applying your own decision.

Wait until the forks and if you are already in loss with that token and you hate seeing more losses then start selling both tokens, the original and the fork one.

Expect a sharp drop in volumes and a decrease in investor interest in this project. All this gives such loud signals about the sale that it is difficult to imagine. The only chance for a new project, but Hardfork rarely goes well.

I tell you. Rebranding is rarely helpful coins. Personally, I have Vcash on the account, now few people will remember that kind of coin, but it has ceased to do or where to trade after rebranding and its price fell below 1 cent.

You can treat this like a death throb. Personally, I know few projects that after such a loud withdrawal from the stock exchanges, then recovered and returned to the past trading volumes. Sell the coin.

Usually this hard fork eventi brings an increase in price. But it did happen when it didn't work. It is useful to keep your expectations low. Maybe it would be different if the market conditions were better.

I will choose HODL because brand reshaping will increase the price of the token most of the time, but I think you can collect more data to make the right choice.

Some of the idea on gaining profit on hardfork are when you sell the tokens partaking the hardfork before it happens. Because on that time you can assure that you still have a chance to sell them on the higher price, compared to after hardfork which leads to immediate price drop.

This is initially quite a strange project for investment. On what grounds did you choose it? I heard about him, like they had some kind of incentive company, I see the point to participate, but to buy this coin...

stay calm, try not to panic, hold up until prices stabilize, panic and sell quickly. it will only hurt you

It was about 50 cents when the OP asked this question, it was regarding if he should keep it during 15th December or not. Looking back on the prices right now it clearly shows that the price went up to 58 cents or so before the 15th December and during it went down to about 52 cents each which is really not a great deal of difference but if he sold right before the fork he could have made some profits, however if you look at the price right now it is about 78 cents or so which tells you that if you kept the going from those times you have made about 50% increase in just 2 weeks.

People who kept saying that OP should sell and get out and branding doesn't work and everything is in trouble and it is dying could look at the price can look at the 50% increase and the 57th spot and can assume they were wrong.

You need to hodl longer until you are in profit
