after all that had happened, December was a decline in the price of BTC which was completely destroyed, and the sockets are now far beyond predictions,
some predictions say BTC will be bull early in December, but in the first week of December BTC has experienced a price decline beyond predictions,
Is the prediction that there will be a bull After Christmas will occur?
or will it fall further down?

Everybody hopes for that to happen, but that is also the reason why Bitcoin is not rising because there are a lot of people expecting it to happen and for that whales is just delaying it.

Christmas seems to have nothing to do with crypto. If you think there may be a bull market after Christmas, then I can also think that Eid al-Fitr, Spring Festival, etc. can also bring a bull market, but this is impossible because they are all Unrelated things.

Seeing history in the past few years, the trend at the end of the year usually decreases. But it is not impossible when we believe that the price of Bitcoin will increase, everything can happen in the crypto world and I am optimistic that in 2019 we will start a new era that can increase the price of Bitcoin much better than the current price.

Lol..markets can be funny! No one can say with 100% certainly that bull or bear will stay so long! But looking at the current situations....i think the bear isn't over yet!!!

Don’t believe to anyone’s prediction because it is still no guaranteed for that. Don’t expect too much from the market now because bull run is too good to be true this December. Not being pessimist but we have to accept this fact and start to live patiently. The real bull run will happen in the future and not in the few days of 2018. Be careful on a bull trap, just try to buy more and hold until we see the real bull market.

We should considered the all aspects of crypto market system that can hook everybody in one moment when dump happens neither pump season. Christmas is the season which normally majority of the people have bonuses or what I mean is have more money to buy whatever they wants. Still they have extra money for crypto investment if they also want. The bull run can happen anytime but still unpredictable when.

because the recovery is in direct proportion to the drop. and since the drop has been gigantic and then some, so the recovery has to take a long time to finish up too.
in short i think we are looking at start of the bull run in first quarter of 2019 if we are lucky. otherwise it can take longer.

I do hope so that with the time of that, the Bitcoin crypto currency will boost again its greatness and popularoty and prosperity. I do hope so that even how deep it is right now, it will eventually show us the hope we are waiting for, for the future of crypto world even after Christmas is what the best time for this welcoming the coming year.

January is usually very slow in the markets, not just crypto.
Crypto need some very ''big'' positive news in order that current trend change and price start to go up.
Right now, we have many very bad news and rumors and, as results, we have more sells.

I believe that most of the btc supporters and investors would be glad to see it may happen but I think it won't happen this month. Definitely in the coming months next year we can see an improvement on the btc market and it will only have a gradual increase and crypto market may shine again. People must have to extend their patience and understanding and perhaps this may be the right time in buying back more btc since it is now starting to move ahead.

For as much as everyone want Bitcoin to rise during or after Christmas season, it's quite unfortunate that it might not happen, which is one of the major reason Bitcoin price keeps tanking on daily basis. Better we just keep our fingers cross and not be too expectant so as not to get burnt more.

every people can think about this, they can make their own speculation. but in fact, we don't know about what will happen in the future/ we don't know about after Christmas. maybe it will rise up and maybe it will go down, nobody knows about it

before this dump happened, a bull run could have happened this month but because of this dump the market has crashed and it needs time to recover and in a sense to heal itself before it can become healthy and start a real rise up again. and that takes more than a couple of weeks!

Well, all we can do now is to wait and make a move while the price is still as cheap as we have now. The price of Bitcoin might pump in the upcoming years so it is better to buy them now and just hold it for a long and good time until a great time to sell them and gain a good profit. Yes lm the one hoping for it,l still believe that there's a lots of surprises to come before the end of year.As 2017  left and bitcoin is going down down down.And now l believe it goes higher and higher.

It is hard to make exact prediction about the prices but it should definitely show some positive movement at that time. Most of the people are in the mood of spending money in festive season and new year and should boost up the prices of bitcoin as well.

After hitting the bottom bitcoin will move up steadily over the year/years. Be patient and go along with the market there is money to be made in the bear market too just play your cards correctly.

Most are expecting 2019 to be a great year for cryptocurrency.  Of course there are some that think crypto is dead and bitcoin is going to zero but they couldn't be more wrong.  I'm taking full advantage of this bear market and will even use any christmas money I get to purchase more BTC.

It's hard to predict especially the size of the losses on ATH, I think it might be next year before the market will increase again because of the big crash that happened here but it still depends on the whales when they want the bull run! everybody almost expected bull run this november and december that's a big expectation. All of us is hoping  for it, we badly needed it. Bitcoin loses its value almost -80%?  and  majority loses too. We cant sell at a big loss and its too late to cut loss also. Also,  stock exchange is losing too thats why we did not know when the recovery will take place hopefully this or before Christmas.

I believe in it and i am waiting for it. The bull run has started at beginning of 2018 and all of us were very very happy. Today the market situation is quite bad and we are all feeling sad and lost. I have heard alot before about whale but i dont actually believe that however if crypto rise beyond reasonable doubt very soon then I shall conclude that truly crypto is being manipulated by group of cabres called whale because i do not see any reason that will make crypto to go up especially during this period when alot of bad news about crypto is flying around

I expect a bull run by the end of January, I don't think that Christmas will bring any miracle. The way I see it, is that we will have ups and downs between 3k to 5k until the end of the year and then some mid January may show some steady slow growth but not before that.

It's all connected with the news. If bakkt gets approved we will have a bull run. Maybe it will be small but it will happen. I'm here for the long game and i'm ready to hold for another 5 years. I thought about it and if the price goes down to something crazy low like $100 again it will be too low for me to sell. I'll prefer to hold it as a reminder.

No way, people just don't have patience, as this kind of predictions are usually coming from those who were burned on the previous bull run and now can't wait to at least see their investment break even. We still haven't seen the bottom, and after the bottom there's a period of stagnation which can be quite long. The bull run will start in the late 2019 at best, but it can easily be postponed till 2020.

Santa will ride with the bears as this will continue until the end of this year. We can't expect a bull this Christmas with this current market situation. We just happy to return back to $5k by end of this year if the trend can make a rebound.

Wait until this year ends and create your own prediction by looking at the charts. There's no bull that will happen for this year and this is the reality that you should embrace.

When we look at the past movements of Bitcoin, this decrease is similar to the graph. Compared to these, it should increase towards the end of 2019. As it is understood from here, we will stand at these levels for 5 to 6 months.

There is no significant reason for it to go up after christmas, there is no point of it happenning unless something major other than christmas happens. Last year prices went down after christmas so there was no correlation between price going up and Christmas. Hence, I do not really believe that price will have any sort of change just because of it, maybe something major happens in crypto world and that changes a lot of things for us and it just happens to be at around the same time but standalone christmas doesn't have any sort of power to do that itself.

I think it will take at least another 2-3 months before we see a bull run, maybe it will go back to over 4 thousand dollars during that time but a proper bull run that sees us back above 6 thousand dollars can only happen after major stuff and that will only happen after the SEC deal which is 2-3 months away.

what is the connection between the price of bitcoin and Christmas? in my opinion, Christmas will not have the slightest effect on the price of bitcoin.

About the bull run we are all waiting for that but I guess after Christmas there are small possibility that the price will go up and then it will be the sign of another bull run. Even we expecting of another bull run after Christmas we must keep on mind that we to support so that bull run will happen again.

in my opinion before Christmas the price of bitcoin will decrease because many people will sell bitcoin to buy Christmas needs. maybe this is the right time if you want to get bitcoin at a low price.

I don't know, after last December everything that we got was downfall of the price. I also don't know what effect Christmas could have on the market but i do know that there are lots of predictions and some of them are accurate and some are complete failure. Last year, the price of bitcoin started to decline a few days before christmas so I think there will be still no uptrend and the top coin might further go down. Some have speculated that Bull run can occur as far as 2020. but if this is the case, They better have a good enough bull run to rescue bitcoin from the quicksand it is in right now. I am not seeing a bull run this year but more of a bear overkill this year and the other half of next year. We need a miracle for bitcoin. None is clear about the right time for the beginning of a bull run. Taking some special occasion into consideration people have been providing positive hope on price rise. Accordingly christmas is being predicted to provide with an price increase. Previous year by the same time price increase was good.

Nowadays, crypto related news creates a big impact in the market, positively and negatively. I am not saying that fundamental analysis will be accurate on how it will impact the market because there are some cases that we have positive news but we still experiencing a bearish market. There are a lot of predictions that 2019 will be a recovery yesr for cryptocurrency but again, fundamental analysis creates market manipulation which will change the price of bitcoin up and down.

No one knows. Let's hope for the best thing happen soon. The prices has just improved lately, and I guess it's a good start. Demand law also applies to bitcoin, when people get ready for vacation after Christmas, transactions will be very much done. It's difficult to give a exact date for the bull rally, but we may just see it happening in quarter one of 2019. It's pertinent to note that Bakkt launch which was confirmed for January 24th will miss the deadline, and it'll be launched later due to regulatory approvals. Also there's no clarity whatsoever that Bitcoins etf will be approved or not, that leaves us only with Nasdaq Bitcoins future being confirmed, the approval and launch of the former events shall play a big role in deciding if we shall witness a rally or not.

Christmas has already passed and nothing happened, people need to stop giving predictions that do not make sense, the price is not going to grow out of nowhere just because people somehow feel more positive thanks to Christmas, if the price recovers it will be because the investors are seeing in cryptocurrencies a way to make profits in the short and long term.

Christmas is done and price is quite stable. New year which is 2019 is really near only few days left and I hope it will increase one the year 2019 comes. But here's the things If the people don't have unity like they sell again bitcoin the price will not increase.

My only hope for the bull market is January 2019. If the market does not show good trend then it will continue like the way we saw it in 2018. There are many things that could drive this price in 2019 so I look forward for a better price in early this year. One of them is the launch of BAKKT early this year.

You are hopping to see something similar like this year. You have full confidence in this. For me dont this it will be hopping for 2020 to be changing point in next major price change for bitcoin. Hopefully I will be wrong but this is something that I fell.

I think yesterday the bitcoin pumped from $3,000 to $4200 at Christmas and after Christmas prices are now back down the market is back red and prices are at support of $3,500 now hopefully there will be more pumps for tomorrow's new year  ;D

Let's wait and see, if was a good pump prior to Christmas, so it makes sense if we're going to see another pump before New Year, lol. Anyways, just be prepared and ready for what the market will bring to us. The recent pump and dump are unpredictable so new correction is possible in after new year. But no one is said clearly because all the time we expect some positive trend,  at the same time it will not happen in too many times. So I regret myself because of waiting for next year pump.

I agree. It is hard to reach the price we desire that easily. Though the price doesn't seem for recovery, the pumps of price indicate that there is even positive movement in the market where nothing to worry that the coin far from becoming dead as many says. We have to accept that we have to wait longer for the old investment to gain profit and have to start for new investment now with the low price.

yes I'm sure the bull will occur after Christmas, but Christmas in 2019  ;D
for the near future it looks like the bull won't happen, bitcoin takes a long time to recover.

This coming Q1 of 2019 Bitcoin will hit 5k or even 6k. Let's be positive on this kind of market. The year of capitulation is almost done. But then price will change when mass adoption happen. So I guess in the 2nd week of January bitcoin will pump.

Any information why you said that we will hit at least $5k? As far as I'm concern we are still in the bear market so its going to be difficult to see a reversal to $5k-$6k.

Anyways, all we can do is be optimistic that 2018 will be much different and let this bear market end and see a new cycle comes in. I don't like though the massive spike again, would rather see the price trading sideways or gaining slowly as months passes by.

The potentials are there, could bitcoin be 5 thousand dollars next week? Sure, could it be 3k next week? Sure.

Bitcoin could be anything but we have the data right in front of us. Right now price is about 4 thousand dollars and volume is quite small, which means anything that will make it hyped and interested could increase the price quite quickly since there is no selling that could stop it. At the same time it means if there is a big sale coming soon there is no buy that could stop it neither.

People are just assuming the price will go to 5 thousand soon because the buy amounts have been consistently higher than sale amounts in recent weeks with a small margin and they are hoping that with the upcoming eth fork, bakkt, nasdaq, sec and so forth the crypto market will get alive again which would mean a lot more people will want to buy while sellers will probably either stop selling or at least won't change the amounts.

It's already 2019 and no bullrun happened but the prices of some coins bitcoin are going up and the whole market is getting positive on growth. But there is always a possibility of price declines in the coming days so there is still no assurance if this uptrend will continue  in the coming weeks. Some altcoins have scheduled hardforks and mainnets this first quarter of the year and price might go up then dump later.

but this is still early in 2019, there are still many possibilities that can occur after this. I'm sure there will be a big surprise that Bitcoin will give later, you just need a little patience for that.

After you make this comment bitcoin went down but it has recovered to around $4048 and I turned during Christmas many traders went for break and now we are seeing that bitcoin has started to improve since then. 

the question has been answered now, after Christmas there is no significant price increase from bitcoin. maybe you need to be a little patient to see the bull, oh I also have to be patient  ::)

actually, Christmas with the price of bitcoin does not have a serious relationship, the price of bitcoin can go up and down anytime and that depends on investor interest in bitcoin.

People are constantly saying that next month the price will start to rise and I do not understand why. Let's use common sense and just wait. No one knows exactly when the price will rise again. Here for example the price is rising now and I think that there will be growth but things can change at any moment ! Let's be patient and confident !

Many people were hoping that bitcoin will start bull run from 2nd week of January, but it did not happen as bitcoin again felt down and testing the 3500$ area. Although there is no bad news for bitcoins, yet I think it may take a lot of time until we see bitcoin prices really increases like in 2017.

I guess we should already end the discussion here because we are already in the new year and Christmas has already pass.
There's no relevance anymore discussion the topic which is " Will BTC Bull after Christmas?" when we already know that there was no Bull run after Christmas. I suggest let's discuss what are the possibilities this year, like a bull run or are we still in the bear market.
