The other side of Forex trading is a lot of scam accusations. I know that many people lost money in shady manipulations, at least in my country. That is why I have never involved in Forex trading and I prefere to stick to cryptocurrencies or to be precise to Bitcoin. Forex trading gives many promises but not so many profit, at least these are informations that I have.

Profitable or not is obviously depend on ourselves, as long as we are understanding how to trade effectively then we will have better chance to make profit. No matter it is forex trading or crypto trading, both works similar IMO. I myself prefer crypto trading than forex trading now although my trading experience started with forex. It is because I feel that I have better chance to make profit in crypto trading.

You must own state for manipulation at Forex that has a daily volume of 4 trillion. There may be manipulation but at least hundreds of times less than cryptocurrency. And if it is about the brokers you call scam, this is the loser's own fault. At the moment there are many brokers in the world who have proven themselves, the LCG and Oanda are 2 of them.

Not sure how trading forex is gonna replace jobs,except one is unemployed and wants to go full time into forex trading,i do not see anyone doing that though
Forex trading is different from cryptocurrency trading,but with almost the same amount of risks involved,talking about skills and experience,for sure they do count,but most times they could be floored,in trading at one point or the other I feel luck plays a whole/huge part in success

It's about as profitable as any type of trading out there if you execute it correctly. For the most part, any sort of trading can be profitable if you're experienced enough in it and you have the know-how to correctly trade; having basic trading knowledge is much more important than finding what type of trading you should conduct for maximum profits in my experience. I personally trade cryptocurrency more than I do anything else, as I've historically gotten better returns from trading crypto than anything else I've ever traded, but everyone's experience is different.

Obviously when the huge amount of money involved, someone is bound to make a lot of money in Forex. I was also in Forex trading before I joined Crypto's, but just like any other markets, you really need to understand the underlying concepts otherwise you're just playing and gambling on it. And it's a long journey as well because as a beginner, you will encountered a lot of bumps along the way, but it's how you get up and make yourself a better trader. There are a lot of strategies, so learn to execute them properly, have a good trading plan and learn from your past mistakes. And sooner or later you will make profits that you can't imagine.

I heard forex really profitable, but for who already expert in that section. Like in crypto, some professionals can get profit in any kind of market situation. But personally i not like forex trading because my friend said that must learn it for long time before we can do trade in it with good skill.

Profitable " YES " easy " NO ". Forex strategy/ pattern/ money management is similar with crypto but they have two direction option ( buy & sell in one pair ). We can say forex is better because already have government law and great product ( currency ) that we use daily. It is risky for sure but is it profitable? Hard question. Some people do it for living every day and do it well. Some people already made respectable capital on Forex trading. But huge amount of people suffered loses. I guess it is because of lack of knowledge, they just want to trade but don't really explore it. First of all you better to explore assets you want to trade on as well as you can and right risk management strategy is so important! For example hedging (I recommend read it https://capital.com/hedging-definition). Just small part of traders know how to use it in right way. And they lose their money. But if you will use right strategy, analysis, risk management and avoid mental biases it will be profitable.

Forex is a huge market and you can make a lot of money from it. But if you do not have a lot of capital to invest in, you will not have anything there. Because the profit margin of winning is very small, so we need big capital to be profitable.

More than 99%people losing their hard earned money in forex trading ,it is a professional game needs years of practice and experience.Forex trading is very risk and it's not a game of gambling , volatility also extremely high in certain times, due to its leverage functionality behaviour it makes extremely risky, even professionals also fall in holes sometimes,If you don't know what you are doing in those times in trading, it costs you more than life.Forex trading lossess can exceed your account balance also. forex trading is very good for day trading and swing trading , we can make lot of money if done properly

crytpotraders have some problems with Forex since bagholding "strategies" will get you killed very fast (will fail in cryptos in the end, too however).
Also position sizing is very important with the huge leverages you can get on some brokers. Many cryptotraders haven't even ever heard of it lol.

It is profitable if you know how to trade properly, there are numerous of people make a living by becoming a traders so every trading could be profitable, forex is one of the trading that got high risk, the price movement factors is almost the same with stock market, but the price movement is a bit faster than stock, if you already familiar with stock then you won't have too much difficulty to do forex trading

I have friend earn a lot of money in forex trading. And maybe someday I will watch a video to learn more how to earn because for me I think it is not easy base of what I see but it depends to person of what strategy they use.

forex trading is a world big platform for currency pair trading it is profitable but also risky if you want success in forex you need to learn and practice in demo account

or prove you can make profit on a small account. Trading on a demo account is different in psychology than trading with real money in my experience, even if it is only a small amount of money.

best is to take steps.
start on demo account (better stay there for a couple of WEEKS),
then go 0.01 lot until you make constant gains,
than you can make the positions bigger (in small steps)

I use a lot of forex based trading methods to trade Crypto, just got to make sure you use good risk management with the crazy movements we can get.

All the trading platform is risk one, so we need some experience But If we start forex trading automatically it will improve skills so everything is our learning knowledge. I said Forex trading is less ricky platform compared to crypto investment, So I recommend to crypto because If we take more risk you will get more profit in trading.

As long a market do have Buy and Sell then profitability would always be there. Im a long time Forex Trader but i temporarily switched to Crypto market for some years due to profitability matters.
We cant really deny that crypto can give out 1000x possible profits if your are somehow lucky with your investment which you cant able to achieve on forex for a short period of time but when it
comes to risk then they differ but both things are actually risky if you dont know on what your are doing.

I am into Forex trading for last 9 years, infact forex took me into a deep debt, its the cryptocurrency market which helped me in recovering my losses but since the time crypto market in bloodshed there are again deep losses. Every financial market is having its own cons and pros, most of the crypto exchanges do not allow over margin trading so your equity cannot be wiped out in short time but forex exchanges provide over margin trading up to 1000 times and people do not control their emotions of taking high risk trades, it leads to account wipe out in few moments sometime.
Same is vice versa there is lot you can earn in forex trading if you know how to take trades and control emotions, if you are good in fundamental or tech analysis you can double your account in few days by taking small risk, there is high volume forex trading so you have good fluctuations of price most of the time. Forex brokers offers lot of trading tools inorder to analyze market, also you can trade demo account to test your trading skills.

Forex trading is risky at the same time. You can end up liquidated if you do not trade properly. On the other hand, even an inexperienced trader, can keep and hold his coins for a longer term in case he is in loss.  

Forex is at least a bit more less volatile unless some political major break happens. The difference between crypto trading and forex trading is quite known. When you are trading crypto you check out the signals and charts and indicators and all that jazz and in the end you are just at the hands of some whales.

Everything could look like price is dropping and some major player could buy and price will go up, or it could be just the reverse when everything looks like price is going up but than it will fall. That is exactly what happened in 6.5 thousand dollars, everyone believed price would go up because everything looked amazing but than we are at 3 thousand dollars because of a whale.

Forex doesn't have that, unless some president does something silly the prices are not that much volatile and you just look for good indicators and buy/sell accordingly and you are mostly right.

So you mean to say cryptocurrency will be like this in the future?  :D When people lose money they will label it as scam but if not, they will be psyched to believe that it's not even red flags are obvious. I would love to try FOREX as the market capital is the biggest in the world. But all of my earnings will be overflowed in crypto  ;D

Everything in doing online investment is risky as compared to local investment. Forex have a good existence and it sees amazing on it but nothing good compared into crypto investment as any members involve in here. A lot of people we're become millionaire just because of crypto and many live have change.

Although forex trading is more profitable as you say, but I am still not interested because it is more risky than cryptocurrency. For example, if you incorrectly analyze in forex trading you will lose all your balance (margin call), but if you incorrectly analyze in cryptocurrency trading you still have the opportunity to reduce losses by holding it or doing cut loss.

That's right, It also depends on someone's fate. Not everyone will succeed like most people, sometimes it becomes a disaster for them because their money will run out if their predictions are always wrong at all times.

I've traded stocks, metals, oil markets, cryptos, interest rates, yields, bonds, etc and I found Forex trading to be the most difficult ones to make a profit in.

They are great because they are traded 24 hours so its good if you have a day-job and there is tons of leverage and tons of liquidity.

However they are by far the most difficult markets to make a profit in. They are basically zero-sum mostly and the whales know all the tricks the retail traders do to take away their account balances.

If it works for you, great. But the stock market and crypto markets are much easier to make a profit in when they are in a bull-market. With forex, whether its bull or bear, its difficult either way making money.

Forex trading is one of the good way to make money but with high risk because all broker only offer margin trading for this pair and does not trade on the spot market. Trading on forex market will be profitable according management of risk and money also we have to use low leverage and smaller size of lot to minimize the risk.

It's honestly risky unless you do your due diligence & research. There's a hell of a lot more dynamic variables when it comes to Forex vs standard stocks. You're looking at entire economies of countries more or less compared to a single corporate entity.

I wouldn't recommend anyone trade Forex before trading cryptos or stocks. Don't put the cart before the horse.

Hardest part of being a forex trader where fundamentals do really have a big influence on each trade or decision you would make on Forex.Yes, you would need to look on the entire
economies depending on what currencies you are trading to.Lots of thing to be researched and factors to be confirmed.This is more complicated than with Crypto actually.
I do have the experience but I left out forex due to profits.Its slower and lesser compared to crypto.

Knowing how to manage your funds and allowing yourself to keep being updated to adjust in any market flows can give you a profitable activity inside forex, as we knew that from what we earned someone loses their money so each time you place your entry its always accompanied by risk, taking your time to review and analyze everything can give some edge but not an assurance.

Forex trading will be profitable if we use good trading plan and we should be not greedy by have target profit 10%-20% monthly. Also use low of leverage and lot, many trader loss in forex trading because too greedy by use high of leverage and lot.

Very good, this is really education that we should have before decides to replace our asset into market. This post will open our mindset that trading is not easy but we can learn and get income from the market. Never forget, there's no perfect strategy or the best currency to trade, we only can predict and learn to accept the result.

When it comes to profitability then i would say that forex is slightly lower and slower than with cryptocurrencies but overall the concept is just really the same.I do have
friends that do still doing forex upto now.I'll say its profitable since they can able to make some profit in the end of the day and sustaining themselves into their living.

We can get huge profit by instant time, and the cryptocurrency is the otherwise. Like the other said, its depending on your skill, research or anything about forex trading to get the huge profit. But, it also have big risk when we're take wrong place on our bet.

Is not profitable for me,  I was try forex trading a few years ago but very hard to make profit from it. I prefer to do crypto and stocks trading than forex.  Forex trading has higher risk because of leverage and all asset that tradeable by use leverage will be more risky.

Thank you for sharing this with us and many of us that has been trading forex and commodities before the advent of cryptocurrencies has actually taken some risky and some of us has been making a living from forex trading especially the day traders.  I can said that trading is a very risky venture and because of this it is highly profitable if know how it works and you have develop your skills over time.  I don't think they is any traders that has not lose significantly in the cause of trading but one thing that is certain is that those that actually makes money from the market is to be persistent in trading.

It would seem so since a lot of people have been making good money out of it. Though as with most things about businesses, you're required certain preparations, skill and experience to be efficient in forex trading. Many people thank forex for their wealth.

Like on every other market, someone is making money others are losing, on which side you will end up depends on your today's trades. I don't like to think about that, I know that risk of losing money is always present, so I'm trying to free my mind from those thoughts when I plan to buy or sell. My advice for people is to concentrate on what and when they are buying same as when and what they are selling, don't care about anything else.

Before I got here in crypto currency, I heard Forex trading already, but I had no idea about it. Until I discovered crytpo currency were I can able to do an actual trade in the market. Until time goes by I found out that forex trading is much more risky than crypto trading in my assessment of this matter.

Forex trading is definitely profitable, but you have to be patient and learn technical analysis only then you can be successful in that. As only relying on luck wouldn't help you in Forex trading.

Forex trading is very risky trading because use leverage and margin, but we are still possible to earn profit from it. We have to learn and try it first in demo account until we make profit consistently. I think we have to try in demo account in a few month to test all different strategy and risk management. If we already make profit consistent in 4 or 5 month in demo account we can use the same strategy in real account.

- Every job can be profitable as long as we have enough knowledge and competence in that area, trading forex is similar, it can always be profitable, even a lot of profit but as you said, many traders have lost in this area, this tells us that trading forex is not an easy job, the risks and dangers are very high, it requires traders to have a lot of experience and acumen in each situation. The process of building and succeeding with forex trading is very difficult, so we should think before joining, crypto trading seems to be a safer option.

Long story short all this discussion comes down to the same thing. It depends on the market and luck and the trader. Sometimes even a bad trader can get lucky and make money on a bad market, sometimes even a good trader could lose money on a good market.

Sometimes everyone makes money and everyone loses money, there is absolutely no guide to becoming rich, if there was a way forex or any other thing in the whole world that would make you rich by doing it properly then everyone would work on doing that, since those things are hard to master and almost impossible to reach to the wealthy level its always a toss up.

My friends' uncle was into forex and dude made insane amount of money from it, hell he had a supplement shop and sold it because he made so much money that he could afford to retire (he was already a bit late 50's) dude lost everything he had on forex after a year of selling his shop. Anything could happen in forex, you could make millions and lose millions, there is no definite answer.

Absolutely wrong,there is no way to call forex trading more riskier than crypto trading. Risk can be meausred in terms of volatility,liquidity,leverage,margin and more. First of all, volatility is main problem in crypto trading platforms and it is almost uncontrollable because of lack of market makers. In forex trading even 0.5% volatility per currency rate is accepted as big movement for day. Leverage is double edge sword and the way using this sword is depend on skills,experience of trader.

Forex trading is profitable only to those who has a full knowledge in it. But if if not of course it wouldn't be profitable for us, we are just going to risk our capital in it. If you are trying to compare Forex and Crypto trading i think your answer is there is basically no way they are thesame but you can gain or lose money in both market More losses can even be possible on Forex due to its certain nature than crypto i mean once you understand the blockchain and what no you have some kinda of advantage but Forex is just another advance level to me

Look sometimes luck can play a factor but if you are only counting on your luck to give you profits or to get you out of difficult situations then your luck will eventually run out, the ones that become successful in the forex market are the same ones that can become successful in this market and those are the ones that have a defined strategy they have tested personally and they know it works, everyone else that has not done that has incredibly high chances of losing all their capital against the people I described.

I've heard about forex trading and I admit that I am very much interested about it. Does they have similar ways with bitmex trading? I am more expert in bitmex than forex. And also, do they have a demo, too before gettinf started?

Forex is profitable, but if you are a newbie trader, I will advice you learn how to trade crypto first before forex.

There are no spot online trading in forex market but just only margin trading that use leverage. The fluctuacion of forex market actually very low but that will be more risky because of use leverage. To minimize risk from forex trading and to avoid margin call we should be use low level of leverage and dont be greedy, the standar target profit in forex trading is not more than 30% amonth, so by this target profit we will take less risk because we can use lower leverage. We can do trading in spot market only in crypto and stocks market so for newbie trader is better firstly jump in to stocks or crypto trading without use any leverage. If our target profit less than 30% amonth but we can make consistent profit so by use compound strategy, we can increase the profit to be multiple times.

I have a lot of friends who consistently earn in the Forex market for 10-20% profit, we need to include this tool in our portfolio!

In the last six months, I've traded Forex and indices. While Forex is less volatile, indices are quite volatile, which is not the case with crypto. I'm still learning it after 6 months, and a lot of demo accounts have been lost. It's really risky, and if you don't know what you're doing, you'll get lost. Forex trading is very risky trading because use leverage and margin, but we are still possible to earn profit from it. We have to learn and try it first in demo account until we make profit consistently. I think we have to try in demo account in a few month to test all different strategy and risk management. If we already make profit consistent in 4 or 5 month in demo account we can use the same strategy in real account.
