I think in the next year 2019, Ethereum will be the best crypto to invest in the long-term. Although at the moment, the price of ETH is only $90 but the sharp declining due to the holding ETH of the investors and the ICO project. The next year 2019, when the hard fork of ETH has happened, the exchange rate of ETH will recover and come back to the price of $1,000.

It is better people stop listening to these clowns, most of these guys have inside knowledge and will encourage you to hold when they are doing the opposite. There are the ones that kill the ICO market with their greed, usually get 20X to 50X from the ICO, FIlecoin is a great example of this.

IMHO best chance can give some low cap coins like FSN, fantom, mft they cost lower than on ICO. And alts can give you more BTC or eth.

There are too many predictions for 2019 about the coins that can be the best in the next year but one thing that we always need to remember, it is all about the prediction, and we still don't know what will happen in the next year. It is better to do research about the coins and keep it for ourselves because if we give the prediction to other people and it could not happen, then that people can blame us. But with so many predictions in out there and we read from any websites, it could be a useful as a guide for us to help us to determine which coins that could work good to us and we can back to make a profit again in the next year.

Include ethereum in your list. Although ethereum price is at the bottom, don't forget that it was on 1300$ before. If the market will start to bull expect the unexpected from ethereum

o not make a decision too soon that at the end of this year or at the end of December there will be no bullrun, the crypto market is still in the last 2 weeks, every minute the price can change, only predictions can occur or not.

Most of them idolize Ethereum to become an investment, but I myself also agree that in the future Ethereum will benefit the holders.

Firstly, I want you to know that XRP is a centralized coin and such coin are not worth to be trusted because they be manipulate or abuse by the people in control or the government. However, I believe coins or new project that are back with metals like gold and any hybrid multi asset exchange which also offer revenue reward token are the best investment for the next year.

I think the best thing to do right now is to wait, then when you believe we are in the bottom(dip), buy some quality coins (bitcoin, ether, neo, dash, wanchain etc.) and keep watching the market.

Well you are right that no one knows about the future but I feel that the future holds great potential and the coins will recover soon so Bitcoin is my pick. I chose BTC because it has been a lucrative business so far.

I think the best investment for 2019 is still bitcoin. I am not an expert, but so far bitcoin has always been the best choice. Everyone has to decide for himself, in which he invests, but for me it is just bitcoin.

are you sure what you say? how can you conclude that? whereas we know that the current ethereum price is very bad. there are even some who predict that this is the beginning of death from ethereum.

maybe you can predict the price movement of cryptocurrency just by looking at the price movements up and down so you only need to remember when going up it will fall and when it falls it will definitely one day rise again.

Cryptocurrencies with high rank on Coinmarketcap are the best choices for sure but it still depend on the time will you hold. It'll not rise right after you buy so you'll need to hold maybe 1 month or maybe 1 or more years to see it increase so just buy cryptocurrency with high rank on CMC that you like and hold till it rise.

I would recommend you to just hold on to your fiat for some more time before making a decision what to buy. The current setting we have around the marketplace is frustrating for hodling. You just may lose it.

the movement of all coins follows the price of bitcoin so that it all depends on the increase in the price of bitcoin except stablecoin which has its own movement in the market. But ethereum has many advantages and many tangible benefits so there is an opportunity to make your own moves to defeat ripple and bitcoin.

There is no use trying to predict which coin will be the best. Just invest in a basket of top ranked and popular coins and most of those will do well when bull run comes.

I will also invest more into bitcoin than promising alternative cryptocurrencies and even people sees altcoin as one of the best investment for next year EOS was not the right choice buddy because EOS is a centralized coin and every centralized can be manipulated or control by the government or private organisation.

Other than BTC for safety I'll go with ETH. No, if bitcoin dies crypto will die with it, at least this market. Gouverments and banks might create their own crypto but it will be far away from satoshi's mission and idea.

We are almost to end the 2018 and the bear has still in the control of the market as it gives us a good opportunity to buy those quality coins at cheaper price. Would be really hard to determine for the fact that no recovery yet is occuring in the market. If there will be no recovery ofcourse there will be no crypto that will become huge for next year's market prediction. What happens mostly this year is that, the market value of coins from successful projects do fall immediately and continuously removing the possible development in the market

Each year there's another coin that's emerging, I think one will be NPXS (Pundi X). This coin gained a lot of attraction because its devs are really working hard, I just noticed it through the forum though I dont really hold it.

Bitcoin will always be the main factor for every newcomer to invest in cryptocurrency, and surely they will choose bitcoin as their first coin. Everyone who really intends to invest, they will see the historical aspects of the price movement so as low prices will make them have the spirit to invest in cryptocurrency. And then, I'm not sure Ripple will be the most popular coin for many people. It's really hard to tell on which coin might be the best coin to soar in 2019 but it might be better to focus only to top coins rather than focusing on the new coins introduced, but for me I would rather focus on bitcoin, ETH and xrp.

I saw BCH and BSV experienced a significant increase, based on the BCH coinmarketcap increased by 50% and BSV experienced a 30% increase, I think that was a good sign. After the hardfork BCH problem occurred and made most of the crypto currency prices decline, maybe now is the time for the two coins to show their potential, and I think the price increase will also occur in 2019.

Well the answer is definitely yes, there are a a lof of new projects that are promising and have the potential to compete in this top coins. But the question is what is that coin? No one knows, always do your own research about a different project then invest into the coin you think is the one that will give you high profit in the long run.

Mostly people are talking bull run which it seems to be right but we can't expect that price may be the same with 2017 bull run. Prices moves slowly and never saw hypes which could trigger a huge market hikes as it happens lat 2017. We only have  just a hope but not sure that it will come.

I am not sure that such a coin as Rippl will remain on the crypto market. It seems to me that soon we will see another collapse. Too high centralization is bad. The only high trust coin is bitcoin. It's trite, but it's true.

In my opinion, one of the best investment predictions of 2019 could be the ONE token of the Harmony project. I agree, ethereum this time was considered a sleeping giant as for my own perspective and even if other so called experts said eth was struggling to rise I still remain solid holder for eth. There's no such best investment to be concluded by now for 2019, because current situation cannot be predicted clearly due market's uncertain movement for atcoins. To get assurance, buy while there's cheaper promising coins who dumped value then chill and relax while waiting for the perfect time.

It is a centralised coin so what you do expect? And there could be a lot of competitions in the horizon. But I do think that they will be in the crypto sphere though, people behind the project and all of this backings and supporters would simply allow XRP to be obsolete.

For me, the best coins for investing are still BTC and ETH, although sometimes the price goes down but it doesn't need to be a problem because it's just being corrected before the price shot up much higher and I think this kind of thing often happens in the previous year and the attitude we need to face is actually just anxiety and fear that sometimes makes people panic and sells their assets when the market is red, while investing needs to be careful and also analytical in order to get a profit and that applies to investing in any altcoin that is already on the market.

Why analyze something that no one can properly analyze.  To date, I have not really seen the forecasts, which corresponded to reality.  Always carried out only in part of the forecast, as today happens with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

I think not, those new coins are too far from Bitcoin and even with Ethereum, it could be possible that they'll be performing more than this leading coins have but aren't an account to move beyond. It can be that way if these new coins will look promising and investors have their trust otherwise, there is nothing to happen with them. They'll just be turning dead once again.

I really agree with what you say, because by investing in a large alt coin of course our funds will be safer now, than we invest in a new alt coin from ICO also IEO which has no clear future so that the funds we have can be very risk to lose

why invest on alts where you can easily go for btc ? btc is more safe and more profitable guys just incase your not aware yet  but its not bad to get a handful of alts for back up purposes because not all times bitcoin is there to give you profits  .  you did mention ico and ieo both of them arent bad however ico are more risky than an ieo investments  .  but when it comes to prediction i dont think there is best or worst because all of them arent really matter since its only a prediction anyway and there is no assurance that what your predicting is will 101 % come true
