We all have heard about option trading , where you can Call or Put Options ,I was thinking that could be a good way in this bearish market instead of usual trading or margin trading , but I haven't tried that yet , would like to know your idea especially experienced ones in that case ,, What do you think guys about it?

In my opinion binary option trading is more risky than spot crypto trading, and according to research only about 10%-20% of trader that possible make profit.  I was try it a few years ago but very hard to make profit from it,  I think to make profit from bearish market is better to do margin trading with low leverage, this way is more possible to make profit.

It is good if you know how to analyze the risk involved.  I was there before and lose around $1000 in just a week!  The market is highly unpredictable and I think options trading is no much different from gambling.  It is possible for your capitals to be wiped out in just a trade if you bet with all your capital.

I didn't hear the term Option trading before,you are saying that margein trading or something else?

None of the strategy will help you to be successful in the bear trend you need to find the coins which is buying low now and might sell for high price in the future.

My personal view on Bitcoin options is that they are generally too expensive now and illiquid.

Binary option trading is easy trading but very hard to earn profit consistently. In aday i can make profit 200% but in another day i can loss more than that. We can try this trading by use small amount first, let say $50 and devide that amount in to 25 times trade. Some trader can make huge profit from it but others trader lossing much money, this is depending on the risk management and psychology of trading.

Only ever tried binary option trading once, and i'm not really good at that. That is why i prefer stay to regular trade because we still can minimize our loss in regular trading activity. And it is like gambling for me.

Most people have two different fund allocations. The first and the main one is for long term investment purposes, the other smaller part is meant to be used for short term speculative purposes.

Bear markets aren't much different from bull markets with how there are enough platforms offering products allowing you to short and speculate about lower prices, but it's too much of an obstacle for some people I guess.

Exactly, I’d better to trade on a traditional way than these. Its too risky because its quiet unpredictable and most of the trader are against this system. If you can’t trade better not to do anything and wait for your available time to trade again. In a bear market you have to find the strong coins, so you should really take care on your trading decisions.

In binary option trading if we win we get about 80%-90% profit from the stake but we are will loss 100% if wrong prediction. So for example if we trade 10 times and we are loss 5 times and win 5 times, we are still in loss and this different with spot or margin trading that we can setting the stop loss to be lower than take profit. So i prefer to do crypto or forex trading than binary option.

There is an advantage and there is a weakness. We must be able to choose as wisely as possible. The state of the bear market is indeed very frightening. This is because we can experience a large loss, but when we can be in the right momentum, we are more likely to experience profits. This is a difficult choice, follow the instincts that we have and I'm sure that will make us get the best results.

where did you guys trading crypto for option trading?

In my country many trader interesting to do try binary option trading because easy to do and alot of beginner loss money, and only some expert trader will possible make money from it. According to research only about 10%-20% of trader has been make money from binary option trading and other 80% lossing money. So that mean we have still chance to get profit from it, just try small amount and then keep compound if we can make profit and quit from that if we get loss.

It's worse than betting and gamble for sure. Never lose your money for that kind of scam pls !

That just like betting, in my opinion is more safe to trade in forex market than binary option, because the probability to earn profit is higher. Alot of forex broker offer many different asset to trade, not only forex pair but also USA stocks and crypto, we can do also swing trading in Meta trader platform and no need to spend alot of times to trade.

Agree,  Because we can lose all our money in 1 single click in option trading. Even option trading sometime require our skill, but maybe gambling for dice and make bet set still better than read market movement.

If you don't understand it very well, just stick to the traditional way which is trading.
Based on experience, I loss my money in Binary option because I'm not good with price analysis for short term and all I know better is just hold and I can say that it's been profitable for me. I would rather go with sports betting than binary option, I have better winning rate with sports.

For me it is even more risky, I used to try it but I lost more money there, for me the risk of ordinary trading and margin is lower, for now overcoming the bearish market it will be easier to trade margins, the point depends on expertise you are trading, because of some of my experiences and friends there are those who get profits from ordinary trading there are also those from binary trading.

As Option trading is the best platform for investing a money, I know that this only for the risk taker. If you are in option trading you are making increasing or losing your money but, this trading is the best way on how to trade your money correctly. This kind of platform rules is you are investing and you will earn profit is you win. I thought that Option Trading was on Forex. I didn't like it. It's better to do margin trading in crypto than options trading in Forex because we need more budget to trade. I remember that I come to a conference talking about options trading and I thought it was easy to do, but then, I realize that was not easy. Gladly, I found crypto trading and margin trading and I still prefer to trade in cryptocurrency.

I suggest it is better you choose the crypto trading than to try in options trading. I think it's too risky if you don't know anything about options trading itself. Besides that, you should learn about the indicator which is used in options trading so you could make a profit in the price moving.

Yeah, it is definitely incredibly dangerous >:(. You can be a newbie there and option trading could make you super rich with just one click which is why people have been really interested in it. They see it as a way to make money super quickly with just luck. However, they are missing out on the fact that you could lose all of your money with a click as well.

It is exactly like hitting all in one dice games and hoping your side will win. There is no difference between gambling and option trading at all, they are simply the same thing for all intends and purposes. Moreover, the difference is in casinos there is a house edge which makes sure the house wins where as on option trading exchanges have absolutely no reason to make you lose since as long as both sides agree one wins while other loses so exchange always wins no matter what.

I would like to know about the difference in such trade and what will be the benefits for the trader in the current state of the cryptocurrency market?

Margin and spot trading is very risky but I still prefer it to options trading or binary options trading because it is very difficult to makes it because it has no different from gambling and we all know how difficult it is to win.  I trade binary options before with option24 and I lose almost all my investment and since then I made up my mind never to risk my capital in such way rether I prefer to do normal forex and cryptocurrencies trading and investments. 

Choosing trading is one of the best option that you choose in your life. During the bearish market the value is down so it means it is the time when the price of the altcoins very low so you can have chance to purchase a coin that day or even this year price is still low. Trading is one of the best way for you to earn money and I think it still best way to grow your bitcoin and altcoins.

You mean binary option ?. It’s good if you know how to trade it. I have tried binary option and forex trading, and both have some similarities, but I do think that forex is the difficult one among the two (there are people who think binary is the difficult one too, depends).

Why I said forex is difficult and binary is easier is because when it comes to binary trading, there isn’t much to do except guessing if the asset will go up or down within a set time of your choice. But in forex, the work is more than that, and that’s not what I’m here to discuss though. You can just go for binary option, it’s good and majority of them like iQoption now allows traders to trade cryptocurrency too.

Option trading is not as difficult as people make it look like, though it's risky, but the last time I checked almost every investment involves risks.

Practically, it's the same predicting of the price. But, I think, this should be able on crypto market. Same instruments as in usual markets should help bitcoin to become more popular among institutional investors.

It's like gambling since you somehow don't use technical analysis in putting call if the market will go up or down. It's like betting game but in this case you only have two options to place your bet on. I think it's a good entertainment for traders who are always hardworking doing a day trading.

Based on the article I read, option trading is like trading at your own control, you are the one who will decides every transaction on how you will trade your altcoin. As they said, do-it-yourself (DIY) but this doesn't say your alone in trading, there are multiple groups of trader that discuss the uptrend or downtrend of market and strategize the outcome of it.
Like the OP said, the call or put options are the different types of option trading contract. Call means the owner has the right to purchase shares with specified security and price at specified time frame while the put means to sell it likewise. Therefore, option trading is all about risk takers choice that is based on historical and implied volatility.

I found an interesting word, yes a kind of gambling and betting. trading is full of risks and there are things that are difficult to predict. I am aware that crypto trading is different from forex and binary.

You can trade binary option on pair crypto in the broker  of Olymptrade.  I did it but very difficult  to earn  profit from it because our emotional hard to control.  I prefer doing swing trading in forex market,  stocks market  and in crypto because i like to do long term trading. 

It is the reality!  It is very difficult to makes profits from options trading and many people have loss significant amounts of money in binary options trading. I was involved with forex binary options trading before and I loss $1600 dollars in it around 2014 , since then I have not been playing options trading.  It is very risky and you hardly can win consecutively in a long run. Cryptocurrencies binary options is not much different from forex binary options trading and you need the brokers in other to be able to trade it.

It depends from person to person. Some people have good knowledge and technical mindset related to buying and selling. For them, stock trading is suitable. Furthermore, those who have good power of patience, for them, hodling is biggest opportunity to earn money.

I have seen that many people on this community is always comparing options trading into gambling and binary options are very much similar to tossing up a coin. Binary options are just a sub part of options trading which is usually having a conventional notation of F&O as per my country standards which denotes Futures and Options.

I agree options trading much easier than forex trading but I do not encourage both of them compared to crypto trading. After I was introduced to cryptos and crypto trading, my total view on trading markets had changed. I don't have much experience in this but I tried trading there. And I can say that my experience was not very successful. I don't know what this is about, but I don't want to try trading there anymore.

Trading options can be profitable and there are many successful options traders, but again like in all other sorts of trading the risk is high and it depends on the experience the given trader has. If for example, you are risking 5-10% of your disposable capital in every single trade then it is obvious you won't be able to sustain any more significant drawdown and will lose all your money. I see people over and over again bet everything on one single option trade... I prefer to risk no more than 1% of my balance per trade, and this way I never risk too much. There are many brokers who offer crypto CFD or binary options on crypto-assets, but not many of them are trustworthy and there are many scams as well. Sometimes it is even better to make your own due diligence, to ask other traders about their experience etc., but in most cases, the problem is not with the broker but with the way too aggressive approach most traders have.

Option trading or binary trading is just a clever way to grab bitcoins or crypto of foolish crypto enthusiasts. They tend to make you win some time and when you place a big bet they just tend to make you lose.

yes you are right in this bearish market you need to do something different for gaining the profit that you have mentioned in your previous plan so it definitely need to execute some different kinds of trading things like this I think it will be successful in this market condition.

My opinion is not good about Option trading. It is a way created to look like Forex but it only brings losers. Most of the companies in Binary are not regulated and due to that they will scam by closing their services or they will close your account. I don't need to give examples because most people will be able to find about Binary option themselves. So if you do then you should do Forex not Binary option.

I don't really know the terminology option trading and if the meaning of that is just like this post, then I think I'll not use that even I will be taught by someone else. 10%-20% profit is not that big for me and if that is the maximum profit then I think it's so much better just to ignore this type of trading.
