There is a Chance of Bitcoin Falling to $3,000 Before Starting a Bull Run

According to expert researchers, Bitcoin will continue its downward trend and reach $3,000 or even a bit lower before the beginning of a new powerful cycle. The price of Bitcoin has experienced a big rejection at this resistance, meaning it will harshly decrease very soon. There is also a chance that BTC may get into bear traps after reducing in value to $3,000. Furthermore, the number of Bitcoin shorts has slightly declined and it can be interpreted as the loss of hope of most retail traders.

I would have to agree that we're not yet seen the last of the bears, those sell-offs will continue and there's a big chance that Bitcoin will reach bottom price < $3000. And that will be the last stand, if price goes below that price, its a sign that bears are really exhausted which indicates that soon a recovery will be on the horizon, might be some traps along the way though, so extreme caution is also important in such cases. So let's forgot this 2018 and look at next years with optimism that the market will soon make a reversal, hopefully.

No one cares of the so-called 'expert' in analyzing the market all they do is speculate from nothing. Some of them will say btc will reach 5 digits or even 6 digits before the year-end but still struggling in 4 figures between 3-4k.

But based on the news, fuds, defective US regulators obviously bears will still continue and no one knows when it will bloom again, just majority expecting it will happen by next year and so be it.

Price is close to 3k and this could mean that we are near to the bull run and it can start anytime soon. This is really exciting and coins should be loaded in the portfolio if people want to make money as it seems we could have the good year end if it can happen in next few days and rise quickly to say 8k or so.

I believe that many people already know this, since every day the news channels post news with titles like this: "bitcoin could fall to  $3000 according to analyst X." are every day to publish about the price that I think many people will become expert

I think the bears have a low point in mind and that price is $3000 so the prices should flatline around that price. Recovery will be after the bakkt begins next month

don't expect it to move upwards just because we want it to
at the moment there is literally nothing that signals possible growth
bears are strong, the only "positive " sign is that the volumes are getting lower and lower
at least some sign of stabilization , but I think the drop will continue , possibly as low as 2700-2800$

The bears aren't just Bitcoin bears, the other side consists of mindless altcoin and ICO bears using Bitcoin's fiat markets as exit point. That's why I strongly believe that we may be sitting below $5000 for quite a long period of time. It will be interesting to see how the price fares in the first quarter of 2019. I expect the bottom to be found in these months.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Firstly, it's not even sure that they will start trading next month, because they still need an approval from higher hand. Secondly, we don't know what level of demand there is for their product. We need to focus on fundamentals and ignore what happens in the short term, because focusing on Bakkt or an ETF is an utter waste of time.

I will take back my words about Bakkt if I see them do well and positively affect the market.

I'm shure Bitcoin will have a strong growth soon, because the price very low now, "whale" wallets accumulate more and more bitcoins. Why? To have a large profits in the nearest future.

Please, don't consider prices to be very low right now. I know it may look like they are, but we have seen with the $6000 mark that people kept saying it was very low, and we had a 50% reduction in price not long aftet that.

Crypto prices are never low. They are always well above their potential because that's what people buy into. Only time will tell what is low, but we'll only find out when we have gone back up again.

I have significantly lowered my expectations of the market the moment we tested the $5800 support for the second and third time, because it's not a good sign. Testing the same levels mostly results in them to break, and they did.

Aren't those the same experts that were saying that Bitcoin won't go below 10000 dollars and then that it won't go below 6000 dollars, and then that it won't go below 5000...
All those predictions look pretty stupid now. I can bet you that when we go below 3000 they will make new predictions saying that we could touch 1500 before we start another bull run.
