I'm currently mining with 2 pc's each have one Nvidia GT540m using cudaminer. M y hashrate is about 20kH/s. I'm willing to buy one usb miner that says working at "330 Mh/s" speed. My questions are: 1- Does it really worth those ASIC usb miners? 2- Can I mine Altcoins (like Doge, IFC, TiPS..) at pools with those miners? 3- If I can mine altcoins Can you suggest me (e-bay/amazon links) for those usb miners (my top price is about 40-50 usd)? And you can't use them for altcoins. Don't listen to anyone who tells you to mine PPC with them.

That way, you will maximize the profitability of any mining equipment you choose to use.
Also, you can use Bitcoin ASIC miners to mine for lots of different altcoins (as long as they use the same algorithm as Bitcoin, which is SHA-256).
