How long will it take for another billion dollar crypto? Markets are crashing but will there be enough pump for a new billion dollar crypto coin?

1. Until there is another huge demand for crypto currency token
2. Until we face reality that Blockchain technology is the future and stop selfish lump and dumps scheme
3. Until we prevent fake icos from surviving. Don’t just invest; invest wisely
4. Until the acceptability of bitcoin spreads wider

I think that you should not expect a big pump from the cryptocurrency market even when the bullish market starts. It will also grow strongly, but not at such a pace and not with such force as it was last year.

it depends on how quickly all hackers and frauds die, and the market is not dominated by whales who like to manipulate prices, simple but this will have a big effect

It would require a great team of coders and developers and designers and many business man to actually achieve a billion dollar crypto currency. You need to have an amazing team behind such a coin to achieve it during a bear market and they need to market it furiously to everyone they can to make that kind of funding possible.

IOTA for example made their coins while there was no pump going on and they achieved said thing, they worth a lot of money right now but that didn't happened overnight thanks to some bull market. You need that type of amazing effort put into something major that has a potential to change everything in our regular life to accomplish something like that. I doubt it will happen anytime soon but I don't doubt it will happen one day, just don't know when it will.

Its really hard to see when we're going to see another billion dollar crypto because all crypto that has been coming out is all shit coins anyways, that's why bitcoin remains the king so far.

Not just an amazing them behind, but the crypto should have a fundamentals and will have a real usage in our daily lives but so far we haven't seen any coins meeting that criteria so far.

The whole cryptocurrency is now facing its reality bites challenge. We can never go back to 2017 when massive number of people blindly speculated on cryptocurrency and the many ICO projects that eventually failed and just run away. Actually, this can be the reason why I am guessing that 2019 can never be different from this year not unless maybe if there can be an approval of ETF (though things can be short-lived). We are all wishing for a better market but we can never escape the realities happening with cryptocurrency right now.

Times had changed I think its not like before where only few people learned about crypto or bitcoin.  More people are going to be in crypto and I guess it may not really take long before adoption can happen. Its going to happen very quick now because of social media. TV started to already mention the good thing about blockchain so its good.

I think it will take much more longer now it is because it is bullish so it will take some tome for it to recover and also it is better now to hild if you believe that it will pump just like me lets just wait for it to happen

There are a lot of very good projects with small capitalization for today, with a very strong team and community support, a finished product and incredible opportunities.
I also noticed that the coins of these projects do not pay attention to the market and live their own lives.
Again, I repeat: the top 10-100 cryptocurrencies will look completely different in a few years, there is no doubt.

     If we look back the history of Bitcoin price was very low and it is lower than this , then it were able to increase its price together with profits of the holders , so how much more on this era which Bitcoin is already establish it's own name in terms of currency .

There is no doubt that the cryptospace will yet see a boom in the nearest future but it is obvious that it may not get close to what was experienced last year. More innovative blockchain based projects are needed to in the cryptospace to activate this boom.

what you are looking for is not value but it is market cap and for market cap to reach a billion you don't need a good project, you don't need value and you don't need price that much either. all you need is a fake but huge supply and a little bit of pump.
market cap being supply * price will shoot your market cap to billion easily! but it is all meaningless.

Obviously, there is no new crypto pump on the market that can achieve such a plan, first because of the panic sales caused by the bear market, and secondly because the scam causes the trader to lose confidence in crypto.

New billion dollar may not arise in this situation you just have to hope the price of bitcoin will be goes to Million or Billion on someday.If you are saying about the cap values then yes it is also hard to reach until the prices of cryptos reaches new all time high.Hopefully the prices will bump so just keep holding the coins as much as you can with the capital amount which is affordable for you to lose.

The answer to this question is certain; Halving.
This means May 2020 month. Bullrun will start in 2020. We will not see bullrun in 2019 contrary to expectations. Prices will start to rise as Halving approaches.

Crypto market still has a long way ahead before the next bull pump similar to 2017... don't expect this to be soon... instead improve your knowledge and experience and accumulate... this is what the bear stands for  ;D

One month? half a year? one year? two year? I sure that everything is possible in crypto market, just like last year when market start to reborn, rising like rocket and nobody can stop it, so we're waiting for market stability and earn profit soon  :)

It is also very difficult to say when we are investing in this market, everything is possible if it can be created, it will be another historical event in crypto. Do not be discouraged, just do it and the feat will appear.Let hope it coming  ;D

we cannot say for sure when this will happen or how long it will take. it is possible that the update of ethereum in January will interest some big fund and they will invest tens of billions. who knows

we usually have a big pumping spree every year which mostly happens during summer time. this year we didn't have a big one (although we saw many small shitcoins be pumped big time) because of the last year market wide pump.

so my guess is that with the bitcoin drop at an end and price being at the bottom market can start having some rises. and eventually as bitcoin starts rising up again we can see traders coming back which means they would want profit on the bitcoins they buy so the altcoin pumps can begin again.

in a different time there will definitely be an increase not only in the near future, because now the market has not improved much, now many ico projects are experiencing an extension of the duration due to a hindrance in terms of sales.

This could be the challenge to the developers in finding ways to attract more investors to trust again after the bubble burst of this year 2018. The crypto market has lost the momentum and this is not easy to recover considering that many scammers had polluted the market and until such a good regulations that will protect the rights of investors this is still unpredictable that we can bounce back easily. In needs time to heal those wounds and gets the confidence of those investors. Hopefully we can back on track in 2 years’ time.

This is possible but the most important to achieve first is when mass adoption will be reached at the level that the fundamentals of blockchain is 100 percent accepted in the financial industry, remember that cryptocurrency is just a one part of the blockchain technology. So let us be patient no to think too much of the value of a cryptocurrency because we already achieved the billion dollar market cap and next will be the trillion dollar market cap.

I think that the next pump, the bull ran, will beat the previous high capitalization, it remains only to wait for him.

In my opinion, one billion dollars for the cryptocurrency market is very little. To stabilize the market, more money is needed since the market capitalization exceeds one hundred billion and that is why a larger amount is needed, as well as other factors affecting it.

The next billion dollar marketcap will surely come when there are more people investing in crypto. It take time but I don’t think it will stop at 1 billion, crypto market is worth much more.

The key to the success of cryptocurrency is mass adoption.
The rate at which scam projects are being promoted has lead to decrease in adoption. Therefore, since there is decrease in the number of investors, there will definitely be a reduction in marketcap.
So the only way there will be increase in capitalization, most that that which cuts across all cryptocurrencies is when genuine and idea oriented projects are promoted more.

It could happen for few weeks or it can happen for about one year or more than that. There's no one that has the powers to know the future of crypto's market cap. Bitcoin has a billion dollar market cap including the others on the top 9.

Now again, many cryptocurrency forecasters, who previously analyzed the situation on the market, now they are talking about. that the situation in the market as a whole is beginning to show a change in trend. It seems to me that a lot is changing now, because the situation is growing. It is strange to understand this, but it is a fact.

in my opinion, the market in a crash situation like this cannot be expected with Pump, even with 1 billion dollars. It is possible that people will have to enlarge the Sell Order if they know there will be a Pump and then the Pump that is expected does not occur because it is held at a certain price. I think that now we are waiting another big amount of investments. Also we are needed in regulations, crypto market is a crazy place. THere is no doubt that all scam projects must die too.

Hopefully it can change to a better situation like the previous price conditions. For the question, how long will it take, I can't answer, because the conditions and situation for pumping are needed technically with good analysis.

Cryptocurrencies will be accepted in 2-3 years, mb 5 years, not earlier. Until there's no global recognition by institutional investors and large states, there won't be any serious and long rise!

We are watching a market cycle. It is going well I think. It has fallen a big value. But I believe it'll be back. And we can see much more than billions.

I think it will definitely happen, and it will happen in the next 3 years. At the moment there are many coins that have high potential, but so far their capitalization is still very small.

Take higher. The next growth of the crypto market should be at least one trillion dollars. There are all prospects for this.

Don't quite sure about the time for the market to recover, in could takes weeks, month or maybe year to take back what has loss.
But it doesn't close the chance for the market to get recover quicker than how it loss it's price.

crypto cannot be predicted with time, sometimes very long and sometimes very fast. no wonder if people immediately get rich and suddenly fall into poverty. everything happens very fast. I think if we continue to focus on the poor market, we join Crypto in vain. we better leave the ugliness of the market and learn something else that is more useful.

The time took for the market to recover can be vary, depends on how the investors to take action and purchase the coins and make them rise up again.
I really wish it will happen soon, since it already long enough time for the market to suffer like today.

Developments are ongoing, new coins and new projects enters the market every day. Some of them will become successful and be billion $ projects. Many top projects all started somewhere and several years ago they were not existing.

It may reach that but it wiltae time. It may take longer due to the fast price drop of bitcoin and atcois this year. We need good news as to spike the cryptocurrency market. So sad to see people saving crypto and shifting to stock market. I'm still hopeful that in due time everything will be OK.

Once the people invest again to the cryptocurrency it will increase because for sure we can collect more than billion dollars again. but we don'tdon't know how long it takes for billion dollars mayne few months or years.

The normality envisaged will soon be restored in the crypto space. Good projects are coming up, regulation is imminent, approvals are coming up and some other factors that would definitely lead to the increase or growth in the market.
We just need better and genuine projects with their unique products. If the product can be a universal one, then the better.

For us to have a new coin that will perform so greatly again, may take another 2 years, maybe till 2020. I am not too sure if their will be a strong price push ups in 2019.

optimistic only. There is no definite time about when the market will again be great. at this time the market continues to fall and of course, it needs a good strategy and also the selection of coins in order to survive in the conditions of the collapse of the current value.

In general, I agree that we have to suffer, but if we are talking with you about investing in cryptocurrency today, then the idea is really very good just to really start investing. But when the next wave comes, no one knows for sure.

this is difficult to explain especially in the current level of the situation. the market tends to decline throughout the month. this is very difficult to predict but it is not impossible that crypto will be able to grow and pump back in a certain time.
