bitcoin price are breaking lows again and again  i cant see any signs of bulls entering markets in charts and already Christmas and this year is ending i think still bears will be in control for some more days , but i am still hopping for a bull run soon  and holding my coins  :(           

The high volatility is a disadvantage for Bitcoin and for low-budget investors like us. The rising price of the wave, rising, now falls the same way. Anyone who can wait for a long time will be profitable, but be careful in all conditions.

I have some bad news some of my friend sell their coins because of the holiday season but no they are not whales I just get this feeling that people are selling their coins, not just Bitcoin for a holiday spending and there are many of these kind of people, so we will have to wait for next year for a new hope.

Yes, the bears are still in control of the market and a lot of people are panic selling their bitcoins for fiat. IMO I think this might continue for a few months more after which It will all be a bull market, let's keep hodling strong and hope the market recovers ASAP.

The holiday season and a time of gift buying will see people selling out to fiat.

Its unfortunate if you need money and you have to convert bitcoin at a time
when its FIAT value is way down but if its the only way it has to be done but

Yes. It is terrible situation. All my coins  cost now just 18$, many of ICO don't list to the exchange. I earn 0 this year ((( I hope next year will be bull market.

Don't expect something big to happen just because we're in the Christmas holiday. This year was a complete opposite of what we have seen last year. No more bull runs and yes its likely that the bears will be in control till the early part of next year. What you can do is accept the fact so that you won't get disappointed. Others take advantage of the situation by purchasing cheap coins, while majority continue to HODL as long as they can.

What you are telling is the true fact of the current situation, no one is ready to digest the bear market and just expecting the bull run, but they dont know that everyone is waiting for the bull run and ready to sell it, then who is going to buy in high. So i think it will take more time to recover the market. Holding is the best option and if possible buy in each dip so the buying price get averaged.

Bitcoin was going up in value for more than a year, now it's time to go down in value for a year. What are those lows that you're talking about? We still aren't back at 2017 lows. In 2014 it was almost exactly the same thing. There was another wave of crashes in November and December and the price finally stabilized in 2015. It's all fine. The price doesn't represent the state of Bitcoin.

So you were one of those who thought we were going to experience the same surge in prices from last year? I think it was pretty obvious that we were not going to see that same behaviour this year, mainly because we've been lacking buying pressure throughout the whole year, and without something that could act as a catalyst to trigger a btc rally towards the end of the year, things were going to stay the same in december.

Bull run? Don't hold your breath, it might take a long time before we see another bull run in the crypto space, just hold your coins and lower your expectations.

 Well..in the summer of this year the people were talking about BTC and about  its price that will rise in December,and now we are in the middle of December and BTC doesn't give signs to rise..I think that maybe in 2019 things will be better and BTC will surprise us.We just have to wait and see.

in my opinion, it will be bullrun at the beginning of the year, seeing the effectiveness of the market which has not given any sign of a bull run in the near future. hope March will return to normal with a 6k bitcoin rate .

Remember how many spring 2017 companies tried to open payment cryptocards? where are they now? and so on, examples in total refusal in opening accounts a huge amount.

It is all about the hope right? When you invest in something, not just for cryptocurrency, for all business, you invest and wait with your greatest hope. You are waiting for bull run as far as i see, so do i, but not like you. I have something certain in my mind. We are in holiday seasomn so the bull run wouldn't start at this time of the year that i am sure of it. The holiday season starts in July and finishes in end of october then the second holiday season starts with black friday and ends in new year. I have never remember that i made profits in holiday seasons.

This is indeed very worrisome to see the price of  bitcoin crashing and breaking of sorts of supports without any sign of bulls taking over the market, However I would have to stick with the analysis of some crypto enthusiasts that had allay the fear of hodlers whose opinion is that the present scenario had played out before thus history will repeat itself price wise.

Yeah, sadly the things are not looking good. As per the technical analysis, The importance of the 200 ma on the weekly is crucial. It is coming up. It acts as very strong support. It can slightly fall through however If it does clean break down. Then I see another bear cycle continuing for a good chunk of 2019.

The bear market could be upon us for quite a while, except for a major update or progress on some projects that could attract investments and increase adoption, the cryotocurrency winter would likely last out the year.

A bull run might be a long time coming, for now we need to identify the bottom.
The market is unpredictable and as such we can only speculate.

There is nothing we can do but be patient and lower the expectations. It is a long term investment.

Panic still enveloped the market and made prices fall further, not expecting too much for this year but I hope in 2019 to recover from this decline.

Just hold your coins and be patient , I feel discombobulated with people who panics just because of the price but I cant blame though. We are expecting from bitcoin so we can have a nice christmas but the price didnt cooperate. Bitcoin is still recovering and the thing we need to right now is to hold our coins.

Don't expect any decent Bull runs for a few years.
In the meantime , lower we are going on all cryptos.

Actually Bitcoin plying on down trend. If you see the chart you can see Bitcoin creating new bottom every few days. Then it's go little bit up trend and again come back on previously created bottom. Then it's creating another new bottom and repeat same trend as well. It's clear sign of bear market. I don't think market will recover very fast, it will wrong if we think Bitcoin will raise suddenly. It's not going to happen. Most of people became panic that's the reason why Bitcoin continue downtrend. In my opinion we can see few change on next year. We can only hope but we can't say exactly.

There are no signs for a bull run yet, so be patient and survive for something good in the future.
Bitcoin is gradually going down and this is worrisome but over time everything will be fine and later it will have an increase. For a moment leaving bitcoin down, it's better to relax and enjoy the end of the year on vacation.

The fact that you keep your bitcoins, you do the right thing, but hope that the growth of the market will happen in the near future is not worth it. The market can be dead for 2 or 3 years. Better think about where to look for additional sources of income.

Bitcoin prices this year are now in a low position, we cannot see that this will happen at the end of this year, but believe that next year they will be able to make a profit

The idea of everyone always waiting for the bull run really need to be scrapped. Like you said, who would want to be the sacrificial ram to buy at the high prices when the bull run actually starts? You see, we may never have a December 2017 scenario again in crypto. It is not that I am against the bull run, but because I believe people and new entrants now understand the market concept better. Everyone is now aware that it is always a disadvantage to buy during a bull run.

If your source of income in crypto is only trading i think you are the first person who are very affected of this crazy dump of the market value but if you have multiple source i think you wont be more affected since you are still earning money. I think there will be an ending of this market will break the silence again and brings more profit to all of us.

Yes and usually during this time the price will get lower again, people will sell their bitcoin investment to spend it on holiday and gift, I don't see any sign that there will be a bull soon, I hope in early 2019 we will see some rising, the bakkt suppose to be giving bitcoin to trigger a bull run

It's getting worst and worst I think, What could be the crypto predictors will say now? It will recover again next year? Its down now to 3200$ and other's says it will still go down to 2500?! That's really hard to accept nowadays.

well, when that happens, we can only be patient. for now, we only need to believe in the development of bitcoin. moreover the price is low. this might be an opportunity for us to be able to produce large amounts of bitcoin. well, when people only see the negative part, of course it will bring it to a high level of stress.

Yes this is so terrible today that it continues dumping but don't lose hope we need to think positive  we need to trust bitcoin that is not permanently falling. If we are basing the previous  dumping of bitcoin value it almost similar but we don't know the future we don't  predict on what happening on the value but the best thing to do was patient and wait because it will rise again soon.

Don't worry about lowed and dump price of bitcoin every time, just hold and wit until bitcoin is back to higher price, next year its the moment for bitcoin could growing up and have higher price again.

The bottom wave is still much very strong to dip and in line we are going to be having up and down situation for which I think is the normal thing till we finally touch the real bottom and that real bottom look more like $1500-1800 and am sure many will run away if touch that price but to be serious there is nothing to be worry about.

Bitcoin price breaking lows again and again it doesn't mean that bitcoin is going to be vanish. Rather I would like to say that new userbase is entering into cryptoworld. And according to specification of Bitcoins whitepaper, demand and supply of BTC will easily takes price of BTC to skyrocket.

Again bitcoin suffered loss but still adaptations are still high and with that it is already a good news to spread to the world that bitcoin is not yet dead. Maybe it's the best time to buy for before it rises up again for someone like those wanted to stock up bitcoin, it is now the chance so don't miss it, just like bitcoin just started a long time ago.

You are right, too, I am confused by the current bitcoin price why is it always decreasing every week, sometimes I think what I have to sell BTC that I have or keep holding until the right time, but when, when the price will go up like this, all I can do is wait for information and continue to pray that the price will go up, a little bit by little

You should not compare Bitcoin's price performance in 2018, with the exact period in 2017. People had huge expectations when they saw the Bitcoin price explosion in 2017 and they thought it would happen again in 2018.

Bitcoin does not follow a predictable price behavior, so you should just ignore all other price behaviors and statistics of the past and just concentrate on what is happening in the current market.  :P

We all know there are a lot of things happen in the past months to the world of cryptocurrencies and its market specially it affects a lot the industry of bitcoin and the result is the price is continuing to go fall down even at this moment but even we experiencing this tragedy at all im still believing that there are a lot of reason why is happening this and i know that there are a lot of still good behind of this crisis and recently my speculation and others about the situation of crypto is same even bloomberg said that even bitcoin is continuing to falling down again and again its showing also that crypto currencies is already in stage that they are maturing and be even stronger and stronger to face a lot of crisis and tragedies to its market and sooner or later we may see the result of this good happening in the history of crypto currencies

You have to go through it if you want to make money from bitcoin investments since money making is not an easy thing anywhere.Its sad to see that the prices were reaching too deep at bottom but as you said you have hope the bull run will begin and many people still believing on it so the prices will starts to move in the upcoming years so just keep doing the thing what you have been doing for last one year.

The market is not some obscure thing that goes as it wants. The market is subject to simple laws. The hype, which was in December 2017, passed. Began recession. Now the price has stabilized at the lowest point. Therefore, according to logic, the schedule will soon go up. Then again there will be an agiotage, and then the cycle will be repeated. You just need to understand how the market works. And to invest money realizing that you may lose some of them.

I'm really surprised that people are looking at 2017 year end events, and believing that bitcoins prices will behave in accordance to the events that are already over. I feel it's about time people realise past events, stats do not influence bitcoins prices in anyway. I'll agree currently we're in a bear phase, but I feel we should look forward to the events of 2019 which shall most likely trigger a rally.

I don't expect any bull run before February or March next year. And even that one will not be as the ones that we have had in the past. Based on most opinions and articles I have read, it is said that 2019 will not bring us any long awaited extreme price rise. They are all saying that 2020. will be the year of BTC.

I don't understand who by now people still haven't figured out that Bitcoin price will not recover by the end of this year and that they have to accept that fact. No miracle will happen for Christmas or New Year's Eve and the price will stay low. It's not impossibe that it will go even lower.

I don't think about the price of Bitcoin at this time, buying a good move for now but I don't know, this is still a low price or there is a next rise to Bitcoin, I hope everything will improve for the future, since Bitcoin has been introduced for 10 years, this year worst of crypto, maybe this is the beginning of a revival for the upcoming Bitcoin year.

All we can do for now is to hold our altcoins and buy more before the bull run starts. Unfortunately, bitcoin gets lower and lower which also bring down the price of other altcoin where most of them are reaching an all time low. This looks bad but if we just look on the bright side, this is actually the best opportunity to buy as much as bitcoin and other altcoin as we wanted. Its hard to see the market like that but we can not avoid it to happen there is always a chance that we will encounter a very low price of bitcoin thats why holding is a choice because we did not know when it will rise. Expect that bears will stay until the end of the year or maybe by the first up to last week of January 2019. This year has a resemblance to 2014's market but we can't be sure of when this bull will end.

Well, I have been a bit busy for few months but never took my eyes of the scales. I have noticed that people are getting less interested in digital currency as its value goes lower. Honestly, it is not how we should value such great technology. It is clear that people just wanted some good money. They have seen much that does green papers to satisfy themselves.

I do not see how Bitcoin is breaking any laws, every cryptocurrency is low and Bitcoin is no exception. If anything we should be surprised of how it reached the 20K last year because, in my opinion this won't happen for a long time to come.

All of us are still hoping that it will increase again before the year ends. Some are selling their coins because they panic that it will loose everything cause of the current situation right now of the market. Maybe next year it will now back to normal. yes bitcoin price decreased bcz there are many fake and false negative news about bitcoin but bitcoin price will comeback strongly again and many good news will come soon.

It's sad but we need to accept the reality that there's no any move up for this year or no great Christmas for some others that invest in high price. Even if BTC prices continues to go down, it will till be a long way to go before it even catches up with once contender--ETH. Really doesn't look good though for bitcoin because being in this state of dip for almost a year now, is setting up a trap for future investors and possible future crypto-enthusiast. I just hope that bitcion's price will show stability in the coming year 2019. With its stability, more coins will actually show signs of life because of this.
