As we seen this year was so bad for almost all ICOs, what will be the next move to garantuee a safe and sustainability investment in the crypto world?

Nobody can predict the future of the crypto currency market. Of course there is such a variant that it may not increase again to the prices of previous year, but I believe in better situation.  Hope the next year will become more successful and happy for us.

When the market starts to grow, then really high-quality ICOs will appear, of which there are so few now, hopefully ico will be tested for authenticity.

It was a bad year for ICO projects because of the bear market. Nobody expected such huge price drops. When the trend reverses and prices start to grow again, the golden times for ICO will return.

I think it would be foolish to expect another golden wave of crypto.
Actually, it is best to have sustainable growth rather than an explosive bull run.

AS this year has shown, greed and crazy rises in value end up very badly.

The best thing to do is to always invest in projects that you believe in.
Projects that solve a real world issue and bring value to the market.

Over 90% of startups fail within their first three years.
This is because the vast majority of them don't have a real world use case or they jsut copy something that's already on the market.
Rather than go the ico route, I believe it is better to find already existing projects that have proven their worth.

I'd advise to simply buy bitcoin and hold it and while you're waiting for the right time to sell, keep on accumulating as many as you can.

We all hope for a recovery in the market, even if an explosion like last year is virtually impossible. On the other hand, the disparaging campaign of large institutions has taken effect, so the public has been frightened and has moved away from the sector. We'll see.

many hope for the next year and expect at least the market,which was in early 2018, but in my opinion this will not happen as soon as we would like.

I'd love to make you happy if I could, if I knew. But I don’t know . I don't know what will happen to the prices next year. I recently sold half my coins for insurance. I did not sell everything just because I believe that properly made investments will make us richer in 3-5 years.

Hoping for a favorable year in crypto next year. Its almost a year that we are bearish or trending downwards,and hoping next year to be better from today. yeah nobody can predict as cryptomarket is very volatile but I am expecting more adaption and more useful projects that can solve human problems and more valuable to used.

Not only will each new ICO help the cryptocurrency market explode in 2017. A large part of MLM projects like BCC have led many people into crypto. The trend for next year is that the real ICO projects will be offering their products, so many people have to really focus on this market.

I don't think investment made in crypto will be able to fetch you good amounts of profits right now or in near future for that matter simply because the market has taken a huge and unimaginable hit which will take a considerable amount of time to recover. Invest only and only if you are willing to wait for an year or longer to see your investment grow otherwise a loss is somewhat inevitable.

We don't know what will happen to Crypto in the future, but hope that of course Crypto will recover, this has reached the end of the year, even though there are no signs for the market to rise but I'm sure early next year the market will recover we certainly have to be patient with this

The only thing you could do right now is take advantage of the situation and simply invest or buy more. We're in the accumulation phase, this is the time to buy cheap coins, Bitcoin or any other legit cryptocurrency, and hold them for the long-term since there's no point in trying to take profits in the short-term while we're still in a bear market.

Sooner or later, this bear market will come to an end, we will probably stagnate for a little while, but there's no doubt that eventually we'll see a reversal and prices will start to recover

I think it's impossible to predict now what will be with the price for bitcoin and other currencies in the nearest year. But I'm absolutely sure that crypto market will rise again in the next 2-3 years.

Yes, more likely hope and belief in order to rise the mood, but to tell the truth in order to raise another way, may be only for guarantee the performing operations of the project or in order to return the assets.

I think we are yet to see an accumulation, adoption amd regulation phase before we see the largest bull run ever but at the same time i want to see market recover to atleast some decent levels in coming weeks.

The next move should be to buy some good numbers of cryptocurrencies that are affordable and not just that, but the coin price should have plummeted.
Then as regards ICO, not all of them have done bad, some have performed greatly well and are still performing.
I have even seen some of these coins trade above their ICO price.
Which means that despite the market dip, some projects are still excelling.

I think no one can guarantee on our investment in cryptocurrency market. Its still unregulated market and i think we should make reseach first before investing our money in some ICOs. 2018 is not good for many ICOs because team can not reach the target but i am believe cryptomarket will recover and maybe ICOs will reach target too

I hope that we have passed the bottom and it was the worst time. I agree that the cryptocurrency market is still very young, and just starting to develop. I think it means we will see new rises, but not as fast as many would like. Associating a new growth with halving, and I think that is quite possible.

I fully agree with you! As for cryptocurrencies, legal regulations unfortunately, disturb more often, than they help in their development. However, when it comes to ICO, legal regulations are needed, to protect investors and provide tools to punish scammers.

When the market gets recover and there will be a lot of trust from investors again and they will put their money on the cryptocurrency. The regulation will be effective that used to verify if that was a real ico or only another fraudulent platform created by a scammer.

The year was unstable due to the correction and the market and it affected the ICO but still there were and there are good projects. Very soon ICO will be replaced by IEO and investments will be much more profitable !

the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin,vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3028302.0... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

Nobody knows what will happen to the market in the future.I am seeing some of the ICOs getting into the sale again so which looks like wave is coming back again.
But the price of cryptos were still same even after the new year begin so lets hope for the best.

Although some ICO are able to raise some funds again, but still things are not the best with them and a new wave will begin only after the market turns around.

You are right, there is no any guarantee about the next wave, Most probably it will take few months for sure as we see there is no any symbol of upcoming wave. Yes we need to focus on the new development and how good enough are ICO's will be in upcoming days.

Soon we will see next bull run. US ETFs and Bakkt alternatives are coming and that is good that alternatives exist because the launch of US ETFs were delayed so many times. ETNs are the future not ETFs!

The current situation has nothing to do with ICOs. There is a crisis based on the drop in bitcoin price. It wouldn't be right to say the only guilty ICOs. We will watch STO's anymore. Let's wait and see what will happen soon.

i think the next golden crypto wave will be initiated by the introduction of regulated security token to the market and all good altcoin right now will simply follow their trend :)

It was not bad for ICO but for investors only, because when the ICO get their funds they just go away or do their work slowly, it is the investors who are getting affected. The good ICO are still working good and they are have not got affected. This year hope that due to rules and regulation scam ICO will be less and good ICO will be in the market and investors investment will be safe and good time to invest

There is no kind of a real investment. If you wanted a real investment, just invest stock. Getting crypto to invest is really a bad idea.

Guaranteed safety has no place in cryptocurrency investements. If you want to invest safely, you need to choose a better investment like products of the banks and treasury/government bonds. Yes, those investments are safe but in crypto's you can't say that because investing right now will not give you assurance that your money will grow just like the plants that you plant.

But there are some of them have already reached the hardcap and if you are seeing their agreements and they can do the development even they are only reaching the softcap. If they are having a lot of knowledge on this field and it looks so easy for them to create a product.

At the moment I do not think that investing in ICO will be profitable, I prefer to invest by buying old coins that have been registered in the coinmarketcap and holding them back, because I do not want to take the risk of losing assets.

No new waves could be expected on crypto for this time. everything is falling and it will take a long time to be able to enjoy the results as desired. I would prefer to withhold and collect crypto than expect a new wave that can not be predicted when it comes.
