We all know January always the though months for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has just started to rise. I don't know it is real or only an another trap for price fall.

What do you think? Are we ready for rise? And Is it really good time for rise?

Today I look at coinmarketcap and almost all of altcoins charts shows a positive trend than yesterday. A lot of good news that began to appear and hopefully this is a good start to begin recovery. In the 2019 there is ETF and also ETH hardfork, this may also be the trigger of improvement of crypto.

We cannot be sure whether it is a sign that the market will rise, the rise in bitcoin has only happened in one day and this is not an indicator as a market rise. It's too early to conclude, but we must prepare a plan to anticipate anything that will happen in the market later.

To me crypto is just repeating history so people need to calm down ,2013 bitcoin hits 1150$ and in 2015 it dropped to 250$ ,those who invested back then must have been in same panic we are in today

This can be considered as bullish trend (recovery). Usually when it comes to a bulltrap and then after the first green candle and the red candle will be appearing. The rising of Bitcoin and altcoins at the moment is strange and no reason. And I think if the uptrend continues to the end of this day of December, the price of BTC will reach $8,000. This is still not going to work for when you invest little by little and fluctuation will just gone eventually without letting you notice then you are already losing your money in that process. We are ready for the rise because this almost a year and we see nothing happen with the price of the cryptocurrency. It's a real bullish trend and it's not a bulltrap and i guess wait for tomorrow and you will see that will get another jump again. When people will rush to buy bitcoin and then it will be so easy to jump.

Giving up at this stage is not even something anyone should be considering at all when it comes to this space considering that this is just a stage that would pass eventually. Will the market go lower in the long run, no one actually can tell? What is important is to just treat every single stage of the market as an opportunity. If it goes lower, then just buy more, just as simple as that!

We are not sure if the cryptocurrencies will going for a comeback or not. But yes it may be tough for the cryptocurrency markets to survive and overcome this chaos. But we should be just be patience before we panicked but sometimes we should learn how to accept our losses in order to prevent further damage.

This year's January isnt so tough at all but its the start of this years fall. This month showed that the market is ready to rise and I dont care if this is fake or not.

Well this year January was an exception, as btc peaked last year December and started a bearish movement January,  we can only wait and really hope that next year January will be a month of bulls

It is showing good sign of the price of coins are turning green slowly which is good to see. We can hope for the better price to be achieved in the upcoming year. Just be calm and hodl the coins for sure we will be benefited in the upcoming year. Bitcoin is setting back for its value like previous year.

I think we are about to experience the complete opposite of the previous happenings in cryptocurrency now, last year we had a very glowing market towards the December time but now we have a deep market just trying now to come back up a couple of days ago, so I believe we are about to have a moon January and I don't see the present rise as a trap atall.

Yeah no. I think the ones that have been moving the price for the past few months are still moving (orchestrating) btc. As much as I'd like to see some nice steady rise, I wouldn't be surprised if it all drops back to 3k or (much) lower once enough people are fooled into buying back in again. Why would they stop, this is the easiest way to make money for them. Even the best projects are at the point of disappearing, simply because they ran out of funding after one year, or they have nothing left due to the low eth price. I hold and am making some $$ from small mc gems, but I am not touching the big ones unless there's is some real positive change.

BTC looks very bullish on the short term timeframe. It will go up to 4400 atleast. After that will be short correction. Not a financial advice.

What I see right now is a market that is doing a short term relief rally, nothing can be said for now if the market has completely ended its downtrend until we basically see it starting a proper new trend, so all we have to do now is wait and see how the trend is actually going to be working out. We started at the bottom in the beginning of this year, many of the traders I know are not active anymore. But because of the improvement of the market which started few months ago, crypto enthusiasts are now hopeful again for another bull run.

Most of the predictions are on bullish just expect we might totally see good market at the end of this year. My portfolio is already prepared and right now I keep on buying bitcoin and 50% of my portfolio are in bitcoin that's why I can get good enough income once the price started to increase again. That is simply too soon for the market to come back, it seems that at this point it is undeniable that we are in the middle of a negative trend in the market, how negative that trend is going to be is up to each person to decide but it is going to take a lot longer for bitcoin to recover than one month, in my opinion the soonest that we are going to see bitcoin recovering is during the middle of 2020 when the halving takes place and if it doesn't happen at that moment then we will probably have to wait for one year before we see the recovery.

This is the same mindset that I have, I would like to believe the next year is going to be extremely positive but what I will do if that is not the case? For me there are no certain months where bitcoin would have a good price, it would still depend on the market's movement from time to time no matter what. I have seen lots of times where bitcoin didn't went high on the same month with different year so I don't think it's practical to depend on the month of the year. The best you could do to know if there would be a rise sooner or later is through monitoring the market price of bitcoin as much as you can so that you can see if the movement is constantly going high or going low.

The expectations for the price of bitcoin were huge as well in those years, the difference is that no one really knew if bitcoin will actually grow and it surpassed the wildest dreams of everyone and now everyone wants that to happen over and over again and that is not possible, even if 2020 is a positive year for bitcoin no one should expect the same kind of growth to happen again, you are never going to gain 20x profits with bitcoin in a single year like what happened in those years but you will still get some profits.

But we can't say that market is not better, check some prices from the beginning of this year and now, compare them, start with bitcoin of course. In just a year you could make x2 on your money, in July the price was even higher, if you sold back then you could earn some nice money. Generally this year we had some nice spikes where we could make some profit, so it's not like that the last year was bad. Many people have to big expectations, price didn't recover to previous ath and some people expected exactly that, new ath. Well you need to be a bit more patient for that.

When this thread was made that time Bitcoin's price was almost half comparing the current price. So, according to this, we are in a better position. In 2019, the Bitcoin price goes nearly 14K USD, which is more than enough! So, This year, as some big events are on the track, we can expect Bitcoin price at least at 20K USD!

During the previous two halvings the price dropped before the halving about 30%, it is true that after that we had some important growth but all of those expecting the market to grow before the halving could be mistaken in their interpretation of the circumstances the market will go through, it is better to be very attentive of what will happen in the market during those moments because as an investor our goal is to make the most money and losing 30% before the halving is not really the best outcome we can get.

The price actually dropped a lot more than 30% before the bull run came in leading up to the halving. In the months prior to all of the other halvings that have already happened, the price climbed up slowly and steadily. Then, for several months after the halving, the price actually took off like a rocket. This is the same trend that we seem to be seeing now. I fully expect the market to take off again for a few months after the halving. Just like it always has.

If you are risky you can go long now, if you want to follow trend then it would be better to wait a little longer and enter only after you get some confirmation on trend reversal. I dont think January is the perfect time for bitcoin to grow, but base on bitcoin chart this is the most important month to decide will bitcoin go uptrend or downtrend. Considering Bitcoin went 100+% last year, I would say the best time to come back was last year. The second best time would probably be now. I think that last years trend will continue on and you'll see 100%+ or even better this year. With the halving coming up, the good year last year(since news will be reporting it), and the Ethereum update makes this a really good time to buy into Bitcoin. From what I see, the chances for btc to drop is unlikely now because of the halving. There might be a minor correction that will happen but it will recover fast due to investors taking advantage the price. The start of this year is good for btc due to the price increase, its not consistent but just shows the possible growth now and for the coming days and months.

There's no perfect time for Bitcoin to rise, infact, I feel its been long overdue. I anticipated some significant movements since last month and its only building up now.
