Is there a way to buy ETH or Bitcoin using Paypal Balance?

i heard coinbase recently enable paypal payment you should check them

Yes, currently you can not buy Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies using Paypal there, on Coinbase you are only able to withdraw or sell it into Paypal nothing more than that.
but, you can try your luck by going to localbitcoins.com or Paxful,
I heard you can use your Paypal balance to buy or sell your Bitcoin. It is really hard to buy cryptocurrency using Paypal, it is because your transaction is reversible.
plus I heard they do not accept any transaction connected to Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.

There are some websites who're offering an exchange of paypal balance to ETH or BTC but if you're looking for a direct transaction you can find it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 there are many people there who're offering that kind of services.

But BEWARE! most of the people here are scammers so you better check the past history transaction of the user, check its credibility and I would highly suggest to use a reputable escrow in order to avoid being scammed.

Coinbase is the best way to buy crypto currencies. But please be aware of scam websites and look at the fees. Because some websites are offering such a change with huge fees. Best of luck in finding the best way  ;D

I do not know where you are resident, I was able to read on a site the those who are resident in the US can purchase bitcoin using PayPal. It might not be available for other crypt I currencies.

I think this method exists, but you will probably spend a lot of money on the commission. Try to use the service Bestchnge. Maybe they have pay pal payments. or maybe someone on local bitcoins will take PayPal money

the problem is not on the escrow itself but instead its reversible system, did you know that you can get your money back after the deal?
Paypal allows you to do that, and until now many scammers used it as a tool to scam other people by reversing their transaction. If you never use it before, you will not understand what I am talking about.

No, I rarely see PayPal option for buying BTC or ETH. Even if there is a seller who is willing to take PayPal, the rate is going to be bad for you. Can’t you withdraw the fund from PayPal and buy with cash?

You should check out coinbase because recently they have enabled their paypal services to enable user to swap their paypal funds to eth/btc. It is more convenient and more faster and accurate.

people in cryptocurrency world are always wanting to buy with paypal not sell for it. in other words you will always find many who are willing to give paypal and receive bitcoin but nobody who accepts it.
it is because of the reversibility of paypal payments plus the fact that it is illegal to use it for digital currencies according to their terms of services.

Lately, some people are looking for this solution because of Coinbase integration for withdrawal ONLY. More than 2 years since the last time they updated their TOS and prevent their users to use their service to buy cryptocurrency, but people keep looking for this even though they stated clearly on their TOS.


They are only allowing you to do a withdrawal instead of buying it using Paypal. Paypal transaction is reversible, that was why they do not integrate it until today.

Use the service of the exchanger or Coinbase. Before you exchange, read the reviews not to get to the scammers. In General, you can just buy bitcoin or Ethereum using the exchanger with a visa or MasterCard.

Paypal is hostile to crypto trade and they generally invalid the transaction on a dispute. That's why people don't risk selling crypto with paypal.  So it would be better to exchange it to some other payment processor before buying crypto, like Skrill or redeem your paypal to bank account and use it to buy crypto.

As far as I have, there are many services that close for exchanging ETH / BTC with Paypal Balance. Either because the paypal trend has begun to be abandoned or what. But maybe there are still some people who sell personally, the problem is 75% have the risk of scam
