If it’s bc1 and you’re trying to send from an exchange, it probably doesn’t support bech32 style addresses so you will probably have to make a legacy wallet for the funds to be sent to. Bitcoins addresses start with only 1, 3 or bc1. If it starts with 2, m, n or tb1. It is an address of the testnet blocknet . It has no commercial function. If this is the problem you should get a bitcoin address starting with 1 or 3. But before sending money to your bitcoin wallet make sure you have backup your wallet and only you own private keys.

You first need to use an exchange to buy the Bitcoin which is held in a wallet on your Exchange account.
