Hello everyone,

Eth has shown that it is the king of altcoins and for everyone that invested when it dropped to 83$ kudos because you made the right move.

ETH hasn't shown anything. ETH is exactly the same as it was just a few days ago. All that's happened is that the price has changed. If ETH drops back to $83 or lower would that then make it worthless and rubbish?

Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing. I have to agree that ETH shouldn't be evaluated on its price. Adoption wise it's the king for smart-contracts. I am dissapointed still with the amount of dapps that ETH has, I hoped it would be more by now.

I didnt see a new feature or good news about ethereum or ethereum speculation. I just know Bitcoin rule the whole cryptocurrency and bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency not ethereum or any coins. Ethereum follows bitcoin's moves and other altcoins follow just Bitcoin's moves.

Many people say ETH is the king of Altcoin, I agree with that statement. ETH is a coin that has a strong platform and token that is most widely used by the ICO Project, and other qualities make the second position marketed before the Bearish market occurs. now because ETH is affordable and cheap, there are still many people who believe in maintaining it in the long run.

I agree, ETH is king of altcoin for sure. It's most often used crypto behind BTC and use-case is a very important argument for defining value of a crypto.

I bought Ethereum when it was around $ 400, so I bought when it was around $ 230 and every time I thought it was the bottom and the market would soon turn around. Ethereum is the king of ICO, but it is not the king of altcoins. The king of altcoins and all other tokens is Bitcoin, because its capitalization significantly exceeds the capitalization of any altcoin.

Ethereum is not a king of market , next king will be xrp in 2019, so if you can buy than hold and wait for bull run in 2019 because xrp have good and postie news in 2019 and will grow very fast.

ETH has really surprised me. I never had such believe of it jumping up in price as it has done which is why I never bothered buying it even at the dippest dip.

Right move to those who invested on ether while it is on the dip but how about those who have invested while it's price was at 1k USD? I think we still has to keep on analyzing the condition of the market, cause the rise is still not so high.

I think that 83 USD is not still a bottom of Ethereum but this price is also not bad to buy Ethereum and hold for long time. Recent days, Ethereum has recovered significantly and congratulate when you bought at 83 USD  ;)

Yeah those who take the risk to buy their ETH at $83 can now enjoy their profits if they will sell it in the current price. I'm hoping that this will gain more demand in the market to make a good statement that ETH is now back on track.

I agree with you because in my opinion ethereum is the center of most altcoins, ethereum acts as a platform that has been adopted by most of the coins that exist and more important than that is that ethereum still has many advantages over other altcoins so that ethereum deserves to be the king of altcoin and in my opinion the price won't change that at all, so even though the price drops but ethereum will still be the king of altcoin

I think alts are still having a close fight. Not because ETH gained some price action means it's the King?No. It's just oversold that much it needs to recover. Recovery is normal in the market but that doesnt seem it's the King. Also, XRP is now having the 2nd largest marketcap, bigger than ETH.

Ethereum has been in the market too long that I don't see anything that will kill it. Definitely still the king of alt coins although there's a strong argument that XRP is the new king because it's the second coin now behind bitcoin. But ICO projects are still based on Ethereum and its smart contracts so there's still a chance that it can take back the second spot once the bull market started.

Ethereum is always king. Altcoins existed through Ethereum. Ethereum has enabled the development of the crypto market. It wasn't just a good year for the 2018 crypto markets. ethereum was most affected by this situation. I'm sure it's going back to its old days in 2019.

I totally agree. Ethereum still rocks altcoin industry. No wonder why it can be considered the next bitcoin when the time comes. Good choice for us people who invest in ETH and having a good harvest sooner. BTC is striving hard to get back on track and we can focus on altcoins temporarily.

Those lucky investors already filled up their bags when they invested to ethereum at $83 because it already given them a return of investment for above 90% in just a month and I envy then for that. In last week we saw a very good move from ethereum. It's kind of bullish move from ethereum and we saw this kind of move after very long time. Ethereum devolopers made some good news about the upgradation of ethereum and will be ethereum 2.0. In last few months ethereum felt rapidly. And the reason was the falling of icos. And there is some real issues like scalability and txn problems. And if ethereum 2 come it will solve the problems. And there are more news like ethereum hardfork and that is also a big news for traders. And one more newd I don't know it is right or wrong the Bitcoin and Ethereum fork together. So for this reason ethereum was pumped.

This has been our mindset for quite some time now. Yes, Many people are not able to understand how potential ETH is going to be but when the price of ETH decreasing many people consider it as negative. Still, it is a very good option to hold the ETH coins in the market because when the market starts recovering the price of ETH will recover easily.

I still believe that Ethereum is the king of altcoins, and it have the potential to keep this first position for many coming years, in my view. Of course, there are so many other promising altcoins, like Ripple, Neo, and Waves, but ETH is still more valuable and having more attractive features.

I agree with you , ethereum deserves to be called the king of coins for the future , even though at this time the price of the ethreum fell heavily , factor due to poor market conditions when the market conditions are nice, I sure the price of ethereum will go up again

usually before hardfork are happen the price for altcoin is going up, but i don't see the significant increase regarding ethereum at this time after the pending date of ethereum hardfork

I do not know if it is appropriate to call it the king of altcoins but there are definitely many altcoins that depend on ethereum and I have no doubt that eventually ethereum will recover, the greatest issue is that we cannot really predict accurately when that will happen so the only choice for someone like me is to keep holding my ethereum and wait for the recovery to happen.

$83 was certainly a low point and ETH looked really under-priced there compared to BTC. However we must remember that the bear market is not over, so we may see further drops. I do think for ETH though that we have now seen the low point vs BTC, and it will now rise vs BTC although it may still fall in dollar terms.

At leats for me, i have always much more ETH than BTC.. it has proven to be more usefull. Higher TPS, lower fees, there is a more decentralized blockchain (instead of being monopolized by few mining groups like happnes with BTC), eco-friendly consesus algorythm (PoW of BTC is absollutely unacceptable!)..

If you are an investors you wouldn't mind about it's technology that is better than the other, what you are focus is on how the price will progress.

ETH is good coin and as we know there are many other platforms like Eth and if i am not wrong it was done same time with nxt but thanks to good promotion it becames best for ICO.

the technology carried by ethereum is indeed very good. there have been many projects that utilize ethereum networks. for now, ethereum is still the best with a lot of support from the altcoin community, but now there are many other platforms that are starting to develop like neo and eos which I think have a good future too.

You guys are legend that bought at the right time. Ethereum is still the king of altcoins no matter how many altcoins that has their own platform for new creation of projects same as smart contracts.

Many will oppose that ethereum is the king. Come on, it is still the bitcoin who is the king of the cryptocurrency and ethereum the leader of tokens. They are not the same as they have both different platform to vie for each other as to who is the king. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and ethereum is still the altcoin.

What didn't work out for eth was that too many bogus icos were in it's platform in the past 2 years from 2015 to 2017. It suffered the backlash last year when it started the downward spiral back to the sub 100usd levels. I'm sure given it's still large following,  ether will recover but probably not as strong as it's supporters would hope for.

I totally agreed on this dude since i have bought good volume of ethereum from the below $100 bottom and just waiting for the kick of price this year or the next year anyway i am not in a hurry and can wait even if this took me years of patience
