Title: Good NEW Staking Coins?
Post by: paramind22 on December 24, 2018, 09:08:07 PM
Anyone know any good new staking coins, like six months old or less?  I'm hoping for ones with higher interest.

For those who have never staked with a proof-of-stake wallet, I recommend it.  It's very easy, easy to backup, and is one way of speculating in cryptocurrency with minimal risk.

It's a nice page to find some new and interesting PoS coins. Maybe something will catch your eye :).

Not everything there is a good coin, I'd advise to pick those worth noting coins. If you know what I mean.

Awards with staking is growing less compared to trading.

I have made some stakes with Diverse lately that have been 8 million and 11 million, with several days between 1 million and 3 million.  Many other coins are profitable staking, like Truck, Version, CompoundCoin, Growth, Chess, Healthyworm, and Bitradio.

One thing is that it doesn't have to be a new coin to be a good staking coin.  If it's on two solid exchanges, like Coinexchange, Tradesatoshi or Cryptopia, that makes it a good coin.  But one is taking a chance with a new coin that they may one day get on a decent exchange.  I really don't like those new coins that can barely get on an obscure exchange, but even such coins can one day go somewhere.  You ultimately have to follow the team.

Look at such coins as bat or graft I think they should like you. In addition, the shift can still be considered for the future.

Give the $x42 whitepaper a read. Feeless, proof of stake, great team and community, masternodes on the way, faster than anything I've ever used.

Taas was a good coin which used to give dividends on staking their tokens, don't know their status now.

I'm thinking of holding more NEO and Pundi X.
It won't be too high but at least you get to earn with those.
Any one that has a better coin that can earn a bit good with PoS coins?

Remaining - 2 months before the SEC decision. I think that then the sharp rise in the price of Bitcoin will begin. Bulls will come to the cryptocurrency market, and large funds, as futures will launch

I am staking DeepOnion from the beginning till now and will continue till next July.
Although DeepOnion is already 1.5 years old, which don't match with your criteria, I would suggest you to stake DeepOnion. You will get 5% till July 2019 which is really a good profit. For your info, DeepOnion is now huge cheaper. You can get approx 1000 ONION with $180 which can generate you a great profit.

Just to add to this: after Jun there will be a staking reward of 1%.
However, I don't think OP is looking for such low rewards. You could have a look at Phore. The staking reward is quite high there, I got approx. 30-40% for the whole 2018.
Keep in mind that staking reward is also the inflation of the coin, in order to really make a profit you should pick a coin that has an active community and motivated and capable devs

I'm trying to avoid new-new coins. I'm usually waiting at least few month to check what devs are doing.

PundiX is my last choice. They have a real product and was giving ~7% monthly bonus during this year. It's smaller for 2019.

From the old POS coins, I like only NEO. A ETH competitor and bringing passive income.

Check out BETTEX. For the moment, it's doing well. Also, for the future, keep an eye on ICON, they will release staking in the near future

I think now good news doesn't have much effect in the world of crypto let alone hope that all will rise high by relying on a good news or event moment. We'll see what will happen

Often you can get higher staking percentages if you get in early.  In the case of them going to an exchange, the price is usually cheaper too.

You can earn BTC on old computers using staking coins and trading them at exchanges.  Sometimes these pump so it's best to set some of the sell orders very high.

If you want to invest more money, I would choose the coin with less year profit, but higher chance that will survive this bear market.
Invest into NEO, it gives you 3% a year. And if NEO goes again to 200$, you will become very rich.

I agree. Some of them just really paid to get listed without even have any worth. Some of the POS or staking coins with masternodes have great value and use case but less support. I think most of the staking coins nowadays are becoming less popular because hodling is not a good option for now in this bear market season.

New staking coins and coins that allows you to set up the master nodes are very risky. People are buying them only due these use and after that they will dump that coin, so be careful and look for old stable staking coins.

The ones with the best use-case as well as unknown, so you're not "the last" who invests in

I ve been a holder of Spectrecoin project cause they have promised to invent anonymous PoS

Means you can convert all your funds to Spectre to keep it "off the blockchain explorer" but STILL receive staking rewards on them (interest)

As of May 17th this technology finally has been implemented in v3 wallet and finally gone LIVE

https://briandcolwell.com/spectrecoins-ring-signature-stealth-staking/

The price has already gone up significantly
Yet, still many people don't know about it (its only TOP 200 as of now)

Is it private - Yes
Can you gain anonymous PoS rewards - Yes
Is it a good smooth wallet - Yes
Is it easy to work - Yes
Is it still unknown - Yes $

These days one popular coin is Miracle Tele which is letting to stack your holding of the Tele cryptocurrency in their website and earning of the bi-weekly interest at the rate of earlier 3 Euro per 100 Tele token which is now increased to 3.20 Euro per 100 Tele token. So, this is  very good platform. Another one is Asset Stream where you can stack your or invest in the different project of your AST token and interest in the ASTH which can be converted to Bitcoin or ETH and can be withdrawn.

Miracle tele is a very promising new project and so far it only has one competitor in crypto space which is 'bubbletone' but miracle tele is more better,i already ordered for the simcard and yes the staking works perfectly, i earn up to 80euro every two weeks and payments are paid out in minutes

Another one is stratis but the staking reward is based on annually and  the staking will only benefit early adopters, stratis staking reward is very low compared to miracletele rewards

You gotta look into Stakenet (XSN) if you want a good and reliable staking coin. Best part? You can COLD stake it - Stakenet literally invented their own solution, which is completely trustless.

Proof of stake coins is nice, they add a nice extra passive income, but if you want to be truly wise about your decision, pick a project with an actual future, a project which develops stuff.
You'll be burned HARD if you stake high percentage proof of stake coins, since they fall in price WAY too fast.

Stakenet was launched march 2018.
First POS coin to implement Segwit, Masternodes, Atomic Swaps, and Lightning on mainnet.
Partnered up with Litecoin to help them integrate Lightning on mainnet. Source: https://litecoin-foundation.org/lightning-network-collaboration-with-x-9-developers/
Fixed a huge flaw in Pivx code which made it possible to exploit their seesaw mechanism between staking and masternodes
Building the first world LIGHTNING DEX, which means instant transactions, and lower fees.
Their Multi Currency wallet with 1-click lightning swaps is in public beta. TOR integration as well for privacy.
Developing their own hardware wallet to compete with Ledger, Trezor, and Xeeda (Even though they are supported by all of them already).

This project is a TRUE gem, and it's marketcap is insanely LOW.
I'm still accumulating this hard. ;)

To invest in crypto, you need to know what value this crypto carries. There are large blocks, such as: logistics, means of payment, data storage, privacy. spectrecoin is definitely in the top of privacy, VeChain develops authentication, etc.

Best way is following ubiq Ann bot on twitter and keep track of new launches here on bitcointalk.
But make sure to use VMs to protect yourself from trojans hidden in wallets

Plus: check VEIL

Be aware many staking coins were created only to attract investors to stake, nothing more.
Look on some big established coins that are going to switch to PoS: ADA, ICON or Ethereum.

I also want to mention Spectrecoin (XSPEC) again. Even though it's a project that's almost 3 years old, it's practically a whole new coin since the new and unique Proof-of-Anonymous-Stake algorithm was developed and launched in May 2019.

Solid staking coin with multiple privacy features (including ring sigs, stealth addresses, integrated Tor+obfs4), declining inflation, decent exchange options, and smart developers working on more wallet options and privacy improvements for the roadmap. Also easy to setup and keep updated for staking on a raspberry pi.

Have heard about the VEIL project and I like the fact that the project is a self-funding project and the concept behind the project creation seem captivating but unaware about the offering coin staking. Do they offer such features?

if i have to i would pick the IOST as its cheaper right now, collateral wouldn't cost much for it compare to those expensive tokens already.

XSPEC is a great coin, price started i believe was about 0.02USD and still holding on today to more than $0.30. were they the first to introduce that Proof-of-Anonymous-Stake? not sure what it really meant though but even with DASH and few others, there is no mandatory to submit documents to stake coins.

if you are looking for new betting coins, why not try old coins, I have missed several events, for example Ignis, a few months ago he rose> 300% from the usual price. this is a missed opportunity. if you want to try maybe Ripple,
this is because the growing interest from banks is the main driver of Ripple's success in the future. Japanese banks are interested in Ripple, and attention to blockchain technology continues to increase. That might trigger price growth from XRP

TGN is one of the most successful projects to date. It is a new wallet system and has its own platform. The speed of translation is very fast and free.
This is really my surprise. Currently it is trading on Exmarket and soon, it will be listed on good exchanges like IDCM, Cointiger, DOBI.
prices will soon pump strongly in the near future. This is a good opportunity to buy.

Agree with you, but TGN is not generating enough volume in the market. Current it is trading in Exmarket but recently they are conducting polling for listing the coin in the exchanges. But as of now, we don't see any improvements in the market. So TGN price is not increasing.

I want to try to stake the coins, but I am a bit afraid if somehow the project was stopped. But staking coins could be a way for us to make a profit because we can hold the coin for a long time. If you have the potential coin to stake, I think that could work, and it will give you the profit. But once again, it is difficult to choose the right coin to stake.

XSPEC didn't end up being first with stealth staking, as PIVX got there first. But because of the Zerocoin vulnerability, they had to disable their privacy features. In the meantime, XSPEC delivered PoAS (stealth staking) on a trustless setup. Working great ever since. I love my untraceable staking rewards.

I invested in TWINS and FIX project, you can their detail in here :
https://masternodes.online/currencies/TWINS/ for TWINS project. It requires 1 Million coins to start the node. But do not worry, it does not cost that much only around $400 and in return, you can get a satisfying ROI whether it is daily or weekly. It has been here for a few months, and they never stop delivering whatever they promised for to us.

This cant really be avoided though on making investment into a certain coin. You wouldn't know the future if it would sustain for longer runs but this already proved out by some coins like DASH. The only thing here is that you would need up some good amount to be held up to get some considerable staking or amounts. If you wont risk up then you wont earn nothing but be careful on choosing.

Let's take a look at safeinsure and how it was giving a lot of money for early buyers but this time the late buyers of the token and MN was getting the dust because all of the orders have already robbed by the whale and it's worth nothing right now.
There was a lot of scam in MN or staking coins.
The usability needs to be considered as the main consideration before try to buy staking coin.

Do not find new staking coins. Most of them are just created for quick profit, like 150% interest p.a. and so on. Stable staking coins offering 3-4% interest p.a.  ;)

I think that VITE tokens will be good staking tokens, quality project, something anyway comes out of this. To stake VITE there are even no need for working computer and reward  will be in ViteX Coin (VX).

From dex.vite.wiki:

"Staking as Mining
By staking VITE to help ViteX obtain necessary quota, users receive VX rewards.

Allocation: 20% of daily released VX
How to participate: stake VITE with the beneficiary set to the ViteX smart contract
Staking amount: the minimum amount of VITE that users can stake is 134 VITE. There is no maximum cap.
Staking duration: if a user stakes his or her VITE, they will be able to withdraw it after 3 days. There is no maximum number of days for staking VITE (i.e. users can stake VITE indefinitely if they want to). Note: after the staking amount is retrieved, it will not be counted towards staking as mining rewards. The user must re-stake VITE in order to participate in staking as mining rewards.
Mining reward calculation : the amount of VX rewards will be calculated based on the proportion of VITE staked by a user's account to the total amount of VITE staked that day."

I just superficially studied this project and it seemed to me quite interesting.  I also tried to take part in VITE's Bounty, but the fact is that there is a limited number of participants and the Bounty campaign for new participants is already closed.  Apparently all these indicators indicate only that the Vite project will indeed have very good prospects.

Anyone know any good new staking coins, like six months old or less?  I'm hoping for ones with higher interest.

For those who have never staked with a proof-of-stake wallet, I recommend it.  It's very easy, easy to backup, and is one way of speculating in cryptocurrency with minimal risk.

I am currently choosing ADA because many investors call it as Ethereum of Japan. ADA may not have great potential as Ethereum, but it still receives the attention of many investors around the world. The daily trading volume of the ADA is very high, and this makes me believe in it.

I heard some people could get much profit from staking a coin, but I don't know until how long they need to stake the coin. But if we take a look at the master node staking website, I realize that it's very tempting us to try the staking coin because the percentage of the profit from staking is too big to be true. But if I have another free money, I will try with one or more coins, and I can know what will happen later.

Yes, ADA seems to be the most promising coin in the market and we see accurate volume generating from this coin is really huge and the community behind the coin is very huge. It is a very good idea to hold this coin in the long term to make huge returns.

I do not mind reconsidering all the possibilities in order to invest my funds in those projects that promise to give not only daily, but at least monthly dividends.  An example is the miracle phone project, but there are even game projects such as 888 tokens, but the percentage of dividends is very low.

Those projects that you have mentioned, I'm not aware of their existence. There's a risk with these kind of coins to stake because they are not too reliable in the long run.

If your into POS and privacy you really can't beat Spectrecoin. It offers wholistic privacy in the form of sender protection, receiver protection, IP protection, and you can stake anonymously. The best part about all of this is that Spectrecoin is able to do all of this on a Trustless setup. This is an important distinction because it was the flaw of Zerocoin and its Trusted setup that caused alot of coins to go to crap and get hacked like Colossus, Zcoin, and PIVX many of these coins are still in shambles looking for a solution. Currently staking Spectrecoin/Xspec I'm able to net a little more then a $1.00 a day passively off my staking rewards and I expect this too increase in the future with value.

In my opinion, a very good coin for investment is ARRR. The project is not yet a year old, but is developing very actively. By the way, I think now is a good price for investment.

IMHO the best coin for staking right now is ATOM.

Its staking has 10% yearly ROI, and the project itself is good. Buying ATOM at <$3 is like buying ETH when it was $7.

Tomochain is definitely good one project for staking. Its easy to stake in mobile wallet. And Kukoin exchange launched 15 Tomochain nodes... This means that they are big supporters of Tomochain and believe in them  ::)

Energy and veil are the best staking coin right now. Whales bought so many veil and energy to stake it in the network and both giving very good staking rate to the stakers.
That should be considered as the best choice.
Energy has so many demands and it's really worth to buy it right now.

I think that you can also mention such a coin as miracle tele, which can give passive income.  But you just need to take into account the fact that this company stopped paying dividends for those users who want to install coins purchased outside their website onto the stack.  In order to earn income, you need to buy their coin on their own site.

I'm currently concentrating to gather a lot of ETH. it is not a new one, but it is likely to bring us huge profits after a few months.
The only reason I bought ETH was the decline of alts and the strong growth of Bitcoin. This has made the alts very undervalued and this is an opportunity for us to buy more.

I'm thinking of holding more NEO and Pundi X.
It won't be too high but at least you get to earn with those.
Any one that has a better coin that can earn a bit good with PoS coins?
PundiX, not a part of staking pure stacking coin, if you say about staking in xwallet that only program from the project. So i think include pundiX as one of staking coins it's not true

I think for better option stack many kinds of coins is solution to prevent loss, split the funds
It is a staking coin, when you stake Pundix in Xwallet you are earning Fx token that will power the whole PundiX ecosystem (XPOS, BOB phone, decentralized internet)

Yes, people who are holding their Pundix/ NPXSXEM will have to get a reward in Function (x). With the functionallity they are including the wallet will help us a lot in the future. I hope we might get a higher reward if we stake more coins in the wallet.

Lol . so many users have commented eth , btc and other common coins but the op is only asking for staking coins. Not sure if they dont know to read or they dont only new what is a stake coin  .

in my case i dont also know if what coins are stake coins but i have heard the word staking before   .   this can be a good alternative for investing alone because this staking also gives you steady profit

Spectrecoin at the moment, the perfect counterpart of cash ( privacy, low fees), plus at least 5% per annum (POS system) with a gradually decreasing entropy. Be your own Bank, study.

Still staking some NEO while I don't touch GAS. I also have an investment in VET and also don't touch vethor tokens that I get from staking. There might be new staking coins but I prefer not to quit staking with those coins I mentioned.

It is not completely staking coin because we are not getting in the form of Pundix. When we stake the Punidx we are getting in terms of Function (x) which the project belongs to the same group of the projects. At least we are getting some for staking the Pundix and as well as the Npsxem coins.
