If we do see a bullrun in the coming year where do you guys see the price of eth, being one of the most reliable and sought after cryptocurrencies.

It will worth more than $200, let's take a look on the ethereum's chart ethereum has broke $135 resistance and this means if ether will be so easy to get another pump in the future, remember it has been getting a very big decrease compared to the ripple in the last year. That makes sense with the reduce of block reward due to the next hardfork will create at least another 30% increase

ETH is likely to hit $250 if there's a significant bull run for next year. It's not the ending price due to bull run but it will be the indicator that its about to be there. We will also about to face a hard fork which will improve ETH.

And every time when there's an upgrade(fork) like what will happen to ETH. There's always a rapid movement on a positive chart so ETH might be going there after the fork but we don't know if the whole year will be great for us.

if the real bull coming and continues till next year, i believe ethereum price can reach even surpass the past all time high price my friend

I think at the end of the last day of this year, the price of Ethereum will reach $250 and more if the excellent situation of this market still happens. And the hard fork of ETH will have a big impact on the future of this crypto. I think like the BCH, ETH will split to more cryptos, and we don't predict the price of ETH when hard fork completed.

In the short term i bet it will worth around 350$ and in the long term it will across the 800$ mark easily, it just can turns into a obsolete coin, they must to work hard to get more function for the active.

I think it will reach more or less 500$..the ATH will be very difficult to reach at one time bull run. maybe next bull it will surpass the ATH for 2018

If the trend changes and the bull coming in, there is no doubt that we will see its ATH again. But the question is not about it but instead, will we see it next year?
as we can see, from our history we need to see a recovery first before getting the bull.
that means if nothing happens. Next year will be a year for us to recover our price and our current state. And 2 years later will be a year for the Bull to start kicking in.

in my experience when an altcoin is pumped and dumped on this big scale that ETH has been pumped and dumped, the next round of its pump is never going to be as big. so your target ATH should be at most around $500 at best case scenario.

additionally if you consider the fact that the only reason why it got pumped that much was because of the ICO hype of 2017 which was a one time thing, you can see that even $500 is not possible anymore.

not to mention that when the pump began 2 years ago the supply of ether has been tiny compare to $>110 million of today.

After the big wave of ICO, many owners of tokens, both investors and projects, appeared. They all want to sell their tokens and get their money. This will significantly complicate the increase in prices for ethereum. I think that at prices above 200 there are many strong resistances. Therefore, it is unlikely that the price will be able to hold above 200 in the near future.

I would love to see eth price to reach back to its previous all time high levels and even more in the next year but after the most awaited constantinople upgrade im eying atleast 500 mark which will be achieved in january-february i hope.

Well, if i'm really optimistic, I would say it can hit 300$. I think it can get to 180$ if the market just stabilizes a bit, from a more realistic perspective

It depends on when the money starts flowing back into the crypto markets (did a bull run start or not?) and it depends on how much money will flow back.
If the things get too slow Ethereum may miss the currently great momentum and the competition may get a second chance. Then Ethereum will not get too high. But normally (heh) it should easily get back to 200 and beyond.

Bull run is meant to break previous highest price of $1500 then will profit those traders than invested at that high point. the trend of bull run may be changing in next one but ethereum came as an option when bitcoin started dumping the early part of this year. The amount of ICOs in the coming year will determine the trade volume and eventually affect the price of the coin. Alternative coin are also increasing

If it would have to break the ATH, I think it would be it. If going to its extremes maybe even double its ATH. After all we all see how useful ETH is compare to BTC. The volume will be much stronger when the next bullrun really comes, the more we see more crypto users coming as well.

As long as the BTC doesn't increase, I think it can only be as high as $ 200. BTC should increase.

Joseph Lubin wrote that cryptocurrency has reached the bottom and many have started to buy, but I think that we will see a drop of 30% and then growth will begin to the moon.

I think in the next pump, price of ETH will be more than $200. With this small pump only, ETH price has increased about 2 times from around $70 to more than $150 in just few days so next pump, ETH price will easily increase double for sure :D

In the previous bull run of 2017, Eth had a return of 230x.
If you compare with 100x of Bitcoin, you can have an idea of the potential of Ethereum.
With a wide range of adoption i see at leas an easy 100x in the next bull run,
if you can buy the bottom, of course, which no one knows what it will be right now with this multi year bear market.

most of the time i assess the prices wrong, but still i hope the price of ethereum will be higher than its old ath. should this really happen eventually, i would be very happy.

Not so quick, I don't think that with a very short period of time ETH will be hitting that price we mentioned. It's so quick that I can't ever imagine that few days from now it can happen unless the bulls are in the town.

Seriously, I'm not thinking that it will ever hit $250 by the end of this year, how many days we got left for this year? it's really insufficient if you will analyze that part. Wait for the fork and see on how much it can buff the price.

The price $250 of Ethereum at the end of this year is impossible because now the exchange rate of ETH is nearly $130. And I think if the market has a good sign, ETH will end of this year with the price $200 to prepare for the hardfork at the beginning of the next year 2019.

Giving a chance that Eth will rise but isn't that fast that it will recover. We can't even catch into $150(possible) in this year and still we don't know if it will turn back into 2 digits again as BTC price back below $4k. Such few pumps we've experience isn't the bull run but just a simple fluctuations.

If indeed the next bull run starts and if Bitcoin hits 8k again them wr can expect to see ethereum hitting close to 400 dollars again. Ps: I don't think the flippening is ever gonna happen.

Not that impossible but its high to achieve for a short period of time, considering that it moved up from $80 - $150 within less than a week so at the end of the year there's a possibility but chances are very low and minimal.

I'm optimistic with ETH but thinking of that price for this year end isn't applicable. Let's move on and go for a better price on 2019 which we are about to enter next week. I wish everyone would see its great performance after coming from a tragic dip.

I think ethereum is strong for going up but waiting for the moment of bitcoin sideway first. Seeing a few years ago in January there was the best etherum moment to go up and plus hardfork news I think ethereum will return to the price of $ 300 hopefully

Yes, I believe in your point of view. I see it the same way. Ethereum is only facing difficulties now, but in the future Ethereum will definitely restore prices. We look forward to the next bull market. The next bull market is when we make money.

Difficult to say as the price is to a large extent determined by the market as a whole - but I do expect ETH to rise more than most other coins. I would expect it to return to around 0.1 BTC, but in dollar terms very difficult to say.

I think this will start at the beginning of the new year. If the cycle repeats after ETH developers can complete. It's like the price at the end of March and early April 2018. We can see the real development of ETH at $ 800 or more. We all wait for the final decision of the ETF. need to keep faith and patience.

I don't think ETH will remain as the most demanded alt-coin and I think by the time we reach new heights it will be replaced. Therefore I don't see a price that much higher than the previous ATH. Maybe $2500 at most. I think it could be outside the top 10 within 5 years.

I think If we see bull run upcoming year, We will see that ethereum's price will be 1000 - 1500 dollar but not in one year. We can invest ethereum between 100 - 150 dollars prices are affordable prices. In addition, I believe EOS and NEO these coins' price will increase more in new year.

Everything is based the bull run power at that year, if it happen like at 2017 then i've no doubt it may cost $3K per eth. But I don't really expect the price to be that much, I just want to see eth prices above $ 1k again for the umpteenth time. I still feel it, the moment where eth is really valuable.

Lol 3k? That's more than twice of ethereum's all time high. I doubt it will reach that next year or even the year after. There likely won't be any major runs that could go over 50% for any top coin anymore.

I don't know what the price of ethereum will be in the next bull run, but if ethereum is above $ 300 it makes me pretty calm.

My prediction for ethereum prices is that the odds will not be far between 400-600 $ if the price of bitcoin reaches 7000 $, if bitcoin can reach 10k then ethereum might reach 800 $ or more

That can be a good bounce back and for sure it will break that level since ETH was able to pump higher after falling to $80. I believe the next bull run will be so nice, and ETH will make a new all time high and its price will become more stable. I think the market is recovering now and the year still not end .I hope it will recover soon to the upcoming year 2019 and hopefully it will touch the next level on 250$ .Let,s see what will happen.

Id the bull run really happens i am expecting Ethereum to surpass its all time high record and then get stable at 800 to 900 US dollar. Of course this is a speculation and things might get better or uglier depending on the market preference.

Lots of people are assuming ETH will hit ATH in the upcoming bullrun while I don't think it's going to be happened. The most ETH can reach is $600 in this year. There will be no more hype after having such value for a long time, in fact till 2020. In 2020, we will see ATH for all the crypto.

If you have strong believes from this project, buying and investing can turned to huge success, speculations indeed will help more people to re-buy again and start holding this coins again, chances to bring new money inside this project will bring a lots of interest between real supporters and whales who always loves to play.

If we can have a bull run then ethereum could easily rise higher due to undervalue which will the basis of those investors. This ETH can skyrocket to $1000 in a bullish situation since this has a bigger community plus to add those trading partner with those ERC20 token.

I am a supporter and a believer of ethereum in the market. I do not doubt I could see its price super low but with its community it will recover.

I dont know where you got that kind of news but still hoping that to happen, although ETH is a good coin but still any speculation in the market has no assurance to happen. We are speculating for almost a year since the market started to drop and all our speculations went failed.

Now that the market has started to rise at this time ethereum prices at $ 150, this might be a good start for ethereum and altcoin for the beginning of bullrun, or maybe this is just a trap there is no certainty for the crypto market because it can't be stable happened in the crypto market. ;D

Not sure about the bull run but currently Ethereum has reclaimed its top altcoin position and it's looking very good as the hard fork date is coming near. Be sure to make some gains out of it. And who knows it may be the start of health run upwards of the overall market.

Ethereum goes to the moon caused by the next hardfork and there was no correlation between ethereum with the bitcoin right now. Due to the next  hardfork and especially the block reward will have reduced and that created a lot of impact on the ethereum platform.

Current price is $156, if there's no bull run we will see its price double depending on its own market and economy.
We still need it though as you and I mentioned, it has its own market and its own movement.

I am very glad that the price of ethereum rises again. That is important to me first. I do not expect a new ath, but the upcoming update has a positive effect on the price and this is good.

Looking at current markets brings new hope and increase in eth also provides a lot of good freshness.
I feel that it is my beginning to keep eth and have benefits for the future.

Once bull run will be happen this year 2019 the value of the ethereum is $1000 more or plus  it will back again to the highest reached price like December 2017. But for this now price is only hundreds dollars and still good to invest and earn soon.

I'm expecting around $250 - $400 for this year and that's likely to be seen if the market keeps on running this way. There may be some slips a bit but the recovery would lead ethereum to reach a higher and better price that we want to see on a stable run.

ETH will probably go to $1000 - $1400 in the next bull cycle when overall market goes near its old Jan 2018 highs.

The price of the next bull market in Ethereum is difficult to break through $1,200. This is my own point of view. Too many tokens are based on Ethereum development, so they may directly affect the price of Ethereum, but I judge that many coins will die.

I don't know about the next bull run, but for me the price increases are clearly because of Constantinople plus the other hard forks happening. People as usual speculate that there is value, and they want "free money" so they are buying up Ether. But in 2 weeks, maximum 3, we'll soon realise the forks (except Constantinople) are the ETH equivalents of Bitcoin Gold or Diamond or whatever. Plain useless and to be dumped at the first chance.

$200 would be a good and achievable target for Feb, but I don't know if people will still buy ETH up after this month's fork.

ETH does only play the same rule as it was on 2018. The pump and dump scheme for it has been good this time after a huge market price dump. Well just positive that ETH will be just like the old days that it could pump up good and then dump again. I have been use to it already as I was having already to almost 1 year now in joining cryptocurrency. I am trying to trade coins now especially ETH.

Prediction can indeed be done but there is no basis that is so clear whether it can indeed rise or not later. this will indeed give so much perception whether eth can go up or not

until now the price of ETH has come back to 150$ and it was much better than few weeks ago, however those bull run wont last for long, i guess the market will soon be dumped and as an trader we should becareful with the market present because we may not know when will it happens.

Even though the market looks so bad right now, everything is possible and the pump might last a little bit longer from what we're expecting for.
remember, ETH will not create any new token after this hardfork and this hardfork will boost ETH blockchain by several times. It will boost its transaction speed which I believe will cause a hype for ETH users and a project that has a relationship with it.
of course, the probability to keep its level around here or more is way too little compared to it to get dumped instantly after the hardfork.

It can rise, just try to tell you the POS transition is about to start very soon. But it will be divided into some phase. If they will know of majority of ethereum holders can stake and earn interest from the network in the future and they will rush to buy it.

I think ethereum now is recover, rise to support range 238$ probably, if ethereum reach that support range, i think it will be rise to 400$ shorty, i predict it will be happen in middle february.

Great advice, always make an analysis and don’t depend to anyone. Well, I predict for a short pump since its being hype again and surely we can still see a dump price of ETH before it finally test the resistance. We are long way to go to see a great uptrend with ETH, hope it will happen this first quarter, I’m just waiting with less expectation.

Ethereum will be able to recover in a gradual manner in line with market recovery. In Q1 I think the increase in ethereum is not very significant and when I enter Q2 I think it will recover better.

Yes it will increase in time and ETH will be the top pick to invest again. I expect for an easy pump up to $500 when we enter the bull and push through for a higher one if the bull market confirms. I disagree with your point of view. I think the growth of Ethereum faces many difficulties. Although it reduces production, there are still a large number of Ethereum teams in the team, so its upside potential is limited in the future, and some people may wait for it to rise and sell.

In my opinion ethereum price can be 2500-3000 dollar in next big bull market if it comes in 2019, I hope next bull comes at least in two years to the crypto market.

I can not see a good future for Ethereum. In the next bullrun it may hit $500 at maximum because currently it is in very dip. Even some of the fork news can not increase its price. So, I think it will not increase in a huge amount.

Since the upgrade has been delayed we need to see when the upgrade will happen, the last time I read about it the developers agreed to decide on Friday when that will be, but you must understand they will need time to fix the bug and people will need time to upgrade their software if necessary, so this delay could last a few months which could make the slight recovery we saw in the price of ethereum disappear and we could go back to a price below 100.

The bull run probably start on ending of 2019 but this bull run will be shorter as compared 2017 bull run. IMo ethereum will reach again around 700$.

We know that Eth is a very popular coin and becomes the king of altcoins. But now it has a value that is unfavorable and requires renewal to be more innovative, be patient to be able to find eth again glorious and I believe there will be a time for eth to return value.

Everyone thinks that bull run will start for this year and others at the end of this year. There's no confirmation and validation unless we see a hint that bull run is already on the market.

The market seems to be slow at the moment. But as they move the upgrade by next month, there's more to wait and expect by February. And besides, let's see if Chinese new year will give positive or negative result for Ethereum and for the market as a whole.

thats quite impressive speculation but for me, it wont reach that price, ETH is still in struggle now, price is unstable and its always below 200usd. Its maybe quite surprising if it could surpass that price speculation.

If Ethereum release its Casper, Shardering and Plasma before next bull run, it could really reach 10,000$ because finally decentralized computer will be ready for dApps.

Ethereum is still one of the best coin that we have in the market but due to last year's dumping this could make it difficult to rise because many people will surely sell their Ethereum if they find it profitable and they will not wait longer enough until the price will rise higher or hit at all time high. There are lots of speculation this 2019 that most altcoins may recover because of multiple good news for a preparation for cryptocurrency mass adoption. There is an incoming hardfork on the last week of February so my bet for ethereum price for the incoming bull run is $160 to $220. It experiences a barrier at $200 so if it surpass that wall, $220 is possible.

Not totally we lost our hope and price may dump today but it might be settled in days coming.  Yes we are absolutely taking the risk but I believe we could be paid of after.  The struggles we have now is just testing our trust and of being patient, so if you have these,  it surely you will survive.

Wow that a little too conservative for me. An eth bull run could probably propel ether to around 800k this year depending on how people will fomo around that bull run. In two or three years eth can go well beyond the 1k usd mark again.

A lot depends on how BTC does really. ETH (and all other cryptos) are still closely tied to BTC price movements.

I just analyst Ethereum price movement since last 2 year. Ethereum have its own range price between 0.03 until 0.1 btc, but its be valid when bitcoin price more than $3k.
I don't know specifically when btc and eth will change then trend to be bullish, there is have strong resistance to break for bullish, its about $5k for btc then eth will follow it.

I bet eth will ever rich 5000 $. Man, it is possible outcome, market cap of whole crypto market will ever rich 3 trillion $ . It is my target for following 10 years. Probably it will happen withing 5 years, I don't know, but this is my target and I am here in crypto for decade at least!

I have heard a lot of information from the ethereum team, which analyzed quite large prices for ethereum. But nevertheless, etherium reaches such heights only after some time. Even the update of Constantinople lacks quick results, because it is only the basis for further development.

Now it is difficult to guess what the prices of popular coins will be at the time when the market goes up. But I hope that these prices will be higher than the previous price spike.
