Title: How I'm currently growing my faucet earnings.
Post by: Bigpiggy01 on December 25, 2018, 06:17:38 PM
I haven't said much in microearnings for a while but here goes:

I've spent a stupid amount of time on faucets  ;D So what do I do with the earnings from that, well there are various options gamble, trade or buy into MN/POS coins.

Currently I'm sticking most of my earnings on to Cryptobridge and buying the fastest ROI listed coins hosted on CHT in "Instant" masternodes. The instant part is when the coin developer provides the coins for the first MN and all the other smaller contributions earn proportional rewards from that. So your coins start earning the second they validate on CHT.

I stay in the coins for very short periods 1-2 weeks sometimes even less for a quick in and out and have all my rewards sent directly to an exchange address once I start cashing out.

Sure some of these coins turn Exit scam etc but if you get in and out fast enough.....  ;D

Once a coin starts having been around for a while on there I look a bit closer at it and if I like what I see (no spam in their discord/answers to questions/no one banning peeps for asking difficult questions on their discord/ a solid white paper/ etc) I will open a smaller long term position in it.

I also mine a fair bit and comparing this to mining, about 2 hours a day in spread out 20min chunks earns about as much as 16 1060 6Gb cranking away at RVN sure it's not going to get you rich quickly but it all helps.

A practical example fo I talked about in the first post:

Let's say I'd bought WCF on Cryptobridge for 100k sats two days back, that'd roughly have gotten me 8 coins. Sticking them on CHT in an instant node for 2 days would have brought that up to 12.5 coins that today are worth roughly 40k sats each.

Can you do this every time?

No frigging way! But fairly frequently has been my experience so far. The experience I've used to evaluate what coins etc I'll take a run at I got from looking at which faucets are or aren't worth claiming from. I think there are an awful lot of people hiding in this section with the skill set needed to make solid evaluations of what is and isn't worthwhile.

I'd like to use this thread to share my experiences and to hopefully learn from some of the rest of you guys  ;D

Any suggestions for a new position to open?

After a bit of consideration, I decided to give CSN a whirl with the whole output from the earlier position.

So I bought into CSN @ just under 20k sats for a total of 22.5 coins. Hosting that on CHT now has it up to 32 CSN with a current market price of 22k sats. Overall currently a net gain of just over 30%. However with how thin the market is on the sell side and the currently insane ROI, I am likely to let this ride for another day or two.

Any suggestions for other projects to look into?

This looks to not have been the brightest decision. I've got the coins on the exchange hopefully within range of the next biggish market buy. This will only net me 50k sats over investment, current market price would net me a loss of 40k sats  ;D

And I am pleased to say that I got out of that with my profit and a bit more on top  ;D

Original 100k sats now sitting pretty @ 523k sats.

I am back to shopping for a new project to stick some funds into.

I decided to stick my earning into Yoke Chat another new project just announced here on Bitcointalk. It looks to be close to the altbet level of quality if not slightly better. They've got product ready and have listed on cryptobridge, MNO and have applied for playstore for their app etc. Furthermore, their discord community looks pretty active for this early stage in the project and best of all their DEVs seem to tackle issues head on rather than just talk about price.

And with an ROi like what they are offering at the moment it's worth a flutter  ;D

Oh, and CHT have them as an instant node so you can get in and out fairly quickly  ;D ;D ;D

I'm holding the YOKE position for another couple of days. ROI is mroe than keeping pace with price changes and it looks like an excellent project that I jsut might hold a stake in long term rather than being my otherwise wholly mercenary self.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! And may the faucets pay way more in 2019  ;D ;D ;D

Closed out the position with a small gain 64k sats, ROI wasn't managing to keep pace with the price drop which I really should have expected given that in 8 days rewards will double spiking the ROI again but at the same time pressuring the price horridly. So I expect a better entry point will be roughly in the middle of the high reward cycle.

Looking at ALTBET and Beacon to get into.

Suggestions?

Personally doing the same thing.
I take all my faucet earnings and dump it into low market cap coins.
So far im making a-okay profit with it, more than keeping the coins in BTC.
I dont do the fast trading part its too much work for me. I keep everything in the coins I believe in.
As long as there are ways to get some good fat profits I buy.
Currently dumping everything in ELEC and SCC since i believe they are undervalued.
Ill take a try at doing your strategy and see how it works out.

I only claim once a day, and so far its been treating me really good.
Stopped doing faucets that had short urls or annoying captchas and stuck with the good ones.
My favorites are the mooncoin faucets, freebitcoin and freedogecoin.
I use Freefaucet too since i make around 2K sat selling the coins (BRAZIL coin) I get on there on an exchange (southxchange). Review about that on my site with a link: https://www.tokenclaimer.pw/2018/12/freefaucetio-review-scam-or-legit.html (https://www.tokenclaimer.pw/2018/12/freefaucetio-review-scam-or-legit.html)
Another fav is mellowads since they give free advertising funds which can be used on a blog with a-ads enabled.
I also signed up with mannabase since they give some free crypto every week that I can sell on southxchange too.
Not bothering with the faucet on that exchange since the earnings are so low.

The trick to good earnings is sticking to faucets that give bigger rewards over a longer period of time so you dont get burned out.
Im keeping an eye on your thread so I can see how your earnings go.

With low earnings from faucet, I'd just dump all BTC into FBC. Let them collect interest daily and withdraw them if necessary.

Because if you invest in other coins, you have to pay the exchange, deposit and withdraw fees, not to mention if they tank.

If you use the right exchanges fees are usually 0.01 percent and withdrawal fees under 100 satoshi.
Freebitcoin has a very low compounded interest and is pretty much a waste of time with faucet earnings. You need a couple thousand before their compound interest becomes interesting.

True about the exchange, but now with the coins pretty much depends on the market trends. I have to admit my portfolio of tens of altcoins has become pretty shit after the major bull run so I'm not interested to invest in altcoins with small amounts, not to mention I can't touch them if their prices fall.

And the FBC thingy is indeed low at a measly 4% per annum, but I'm just parking my Bitcoins which are mainly used for gambling ;)

If you'd gotten into FragCash right at the start on one of the first flash dumps with 100k sats you'd either be sitting on a MN now or have closed out at roughly 10X  ;D

There are plenty of nice coins to invest in both for short term gain and longer term HODL.

I bought into MARC to continue the position and am very happy with that so far  ;D

Still riding the MARC position on CHT looking really solid so far, price has moved roughly 10% with support + shared MN rewards from CHT @ roughly 15% so this is sitting really nicely right where it is  ;D

Opened a second position a day or so back with 200k sats this second one ALTBET wich is also sitting very pretty.

The MARC position is still ticking along nicely since inception.  ;D

My two positions currently remain absolutely unchanged bullish to the tits on both.

However just the other night my time, FRAG joined the glorious ranks of the EXIT SCAMU/ At least DEV missing. Looking back at it, I can see the over hyping matching the overhyping of faucets that exit instead of paying etc  :(

Yes, they exited which is why you turn around positions as quickly as possible on projects where you have even the tiniest amount of doubt or the orderbook looks even remotely thin. I bought a bit of frag @ 600 and dumped a MN @ 1300 not bad for a few days of stupid ROI.

The point I am trying to make with this thread is, if you've spent enough time here in micro earnings you'd have seen it coming a mile off. Their communication matches that of nonpaying faucets etc.

Scamming is just that scamming so microearnings is the perfect place to learn the ropes so to speak as the stakes aren't that high.

Once you feel confident to take it to the next level shared MN services like CHT are the way to go with smaller chunks.

PS my MARC and ALTBET positions are still open as they're looking really good!

ABET down slightly but still worth getting into and I expect prices abck over 16k sats in a day or two so not closing atm.

MARC getting sexier by the minute  ;D

Looking at CTT for my next round of faucet earnings.

Still holding MARC and ALTBET positions.

Looking for suggestions for another good POS/MN project to put another round of referral earnings into, preferably one hosted on CHT.

Still holding MARC and ALTBET positions overall with price developments and ROI sitting at roughly 200%

I gave Cronos a spin and burnt my fingers rather badly going from 1LTC in down to 500k sats  ;D Still green overall but ouch :D

Suggestions on recovery?
