Title: Z9 Full Updated Unlocked Firmware - No Dev Newer Cgminer Post by: chipless on December 26, 2018, 03:38:02 AM You will find a link below to the updated unlocked firmware for the Z9 full size asic miner. This firmware is based off the September release of Bitmains factory firmware. All I did was unlock cgminer and updated the web gui for overclocking. The firmware is newer then the Smartass111 firmware released earlier this year. This is Dev-Free firmware

This version let me overclock my machines higher then the Smartass111 release without crashing or errors on the machine. I mean, you started off this thread by announcing "if you have problems, it is bitmain's fault!" -j The problem with bricking a machine has to do with an issue other then the cgminer. I found a couple ways to get around that if it does happen. And the bricking problem is a Bitmain issue I am not going to get into that. Any of the Bitmain firmwares can cause the issue so lets not start saying it was my fault. I know a few who had the bricking issue on factory fw. Also that was a mini release a couple had the problem with. You act like every machine had the problem when it was 2 people out of 1000+ downloads. |
