Are you saying that these hacks are the ones that made through phishing sites? if that is so then its very popular that there are victims through different phishing sites and they never stop targeting MEW users.

Honestly, most of my tokens were stored in myetherwallet and I do carefully check the site I visit before putting my private key.
It's best if you will bookmarked the site, so your money will be safe, in addition for safety, don't put all your tokens in one wallet only.

Probably stole your private key using phishing. It is impossible to hack MEW, it is only possible to steal the private key.

MEW site is never been hacked. If ever then maybe all Ethereum and other erc20 token holders or even 60% of crypto users will get discourage using it. Try to re-check back the site that you are visiting for sure it is phishing site that is impersonating the Myetherwallet site. The legit one is https://www.myetherwallet.com/ ,bookmark it so you wont fall victim again.

I enter in my wallet about once every 2 months when I need to check the balance of tokens from past ICO's.  so I also do not recommend anyone to go there 3 times per day

If it's true that the Etherwallet wallet has been hacked, then this is not the first time. Even a lot of phishing sites out there are trying to trap users and search for their private keys and then steal everything in our wallets. We must be very careful in entering wallet sites and entering private keys.

It's a false warning unless you post a link here that verify your information, but I will take heed of this warning and will not login today and will just check, mywallet through ethplorer ot etherscan, myetherwallet has become one of the most targetted sites.

What do you have proof supporting your words? Etherwallet works in standard mode and no problems. Information about hacking from the developers Etherwallet not been reported.

Nobody is complaining so it has to be phishing site.
It is a wallet which can't be hacked so you have either been phished or your PC has been infected with malware.
Run antivirus check and look at MEW  link, maybe that is it.

I checked the official myetherwallet twitter and they don’t have any information about this issue. Where did you get this information? What is the reason for this problem, are hackers replacing dns addresses again or have they come up with something new?

Their official twitter never stating such a thing means that there's no problem in their side, but people can use their desktop app anyway, so there's no risk of DNS hacking since the app can be used offline aswell. People need to realize that instead of using their web version.

Really strange, why write about cracking the Etherwallet coherent box without confirming this? With such success, you can write anything, and everyone should believe in it. As for the Etherwallet wallet itself, I consider it reliable, if it could be hacked, you would have done it for a long time and saw it all and did not use it in the following, and everything works without problems. I don’t really know what you’re talking about, MyEtherwallet was not hacked. I have even checked online to see if what’ you’re saying is true, but I didn’t see any such thing. Last time I can remember Etherwallet was hacked was around April and they gave out warning to their users then and told everyone to withdraw their tokens immediately, some people even lose their tokens. Etherwallet itself physically can not be hacked. Dns can be changed and you are on the cherry site. Consequently, this is no longer a wallet hacking, but the theft of user data. I think the information you have giving us about Etherwallet hack might not be totally correct because i just checked through my ECR20 wallets but could not find any hack issue, however you might have entered the wrong etherwallet gate way

You cannot just splatter something bad without even having hard proofs.
Maybe you went to a wrong website and got caught into phising.
Be sure the secured thing is there in the URL. A lot of people already experienced that and posted here without even looking into history. It happens most of the time if you are new.

I think it is just FUD. There is no reliable sources for such statement and it looks very unlikely.

There were huge amount of same claims, but they all were just FUD. Don't visit any malicious site and click every single link, use hardware wallets and that's it))

I guess we are confused a bit and all of us got scared a bit and checked our accounts but the most likely explanation is the OP getting hacked instead of etherwallet getting hacked totally.

I mean I had the same thing, I once downloaded a free VPN so I could access to websites my country bans but in the end that vpn apparently both mined crypto on my pc and also hacked my metamask wallet, thankfully I was capable of deleting the extension and things it left behind for mining purposes and my metamask only had like 1 dollar or so in it left so it wasn't a big deal.

When you are using wallets you need to be careful about what you download and how much you trust the things you download, if you download risky things there is a big chance your wallets can be accessed and keyloggers could be used to just empty your wallets.

Is there a proof to your claim?? Where is the hackers address??.. what makes you think myetherwallet has been hacked.. it's true new has been hacked multiple times in the past.. but there's simply no proof to this one??

I did not try to login to etwallwallet on December 28, because I now only use metamask and trust wallet (Mobile Wallet) but yesterday, December 29, my friend lost all of his tokens, but I do not know if he access Etherwallet on December 28 if there is a possibility It is true

It looks like the OP has been tricked by a site similar to Myetherwallet, then he lost some eth and tokens, and immediately stated that the site was hacked. Even though Myetherwallet has stated from the start that they never kept a private key, so I don't think there is any point in someone hacking the site apart from being used as a phishing tool.

Hearning Etherwallet hacked is impossible for me, i'm holding many valuable tokens in myetherwallet from last 1 year. Nothing will happen, because i safely  use my private key. If your wallet goes hacked, then it's clear your private key goes in someone hands because you put it in scam website or somewhere where there is no safety of private information. So only suggestion is, first check website and then use your private key.

May be you have sent your tokens to wrong wallet mistakenly or you have entered your data at a wrong or 0hishing link and someone has gained access to your wallet and have moved your coins to his personal wallet. I hope your loss will not be big.

I have everything works fine, so I do not think that the problem with the wallet, most likely you got on a phishing site.

nobody know that what are you talking about, please update your post with proper English grammar, MEW is safe and don't post any fake news without proof, remind that before access your account, go to Mew official twitter account check the latest news and make sure access url is correct, anyway better check your computer because it's possible your system has been infected by a virus.

you're right, so far MEW is still safe, if there is an asset loss on MEW it is because of the virus that entered the laptop and what I have experienced is that the virus entered through our browser. the error because malware is our fault

You will get your etherwallet hacked if you login into a phishing website by accident. Maybe because you in the hurry and doesn't look the proper website link. So far, my etherwallet is safe and I want it to keep it that way. Just be safe when open your wallet.
