                                                        The SERO's BetaNet-Release version will be released on 7th January.

The SERO's BetaNet-release version  was originally scheduled to be released at 24:00 on December 31, 2018. Considering the impact of the Christmas and New Year holidays, and the team wants to do more tests of this important version, the vesion will be officially released before 24:00 on January 7, 2019.

The significance of this version upgrade is that the mining SERO coins obtained with the SERO POW consensus mechanism on this version will be mapped to the MainNet of SERO, and the distribution of the consensus's bonuses on the MainNet of SERO will follow the SE-Random consensus.

Teams or individuals who have previously obtained a mining license will receive a notification to update the license. Only after the license is updated, the mining bonuses will meet the requirements of mapping to MainNet in the future.

Once again, remind all mining participants to join the miner community as soon as possible to get the latest information synchronization.

Yes currently we are on ETH but we will switch from PoW to our native consensus mechanism SE-Rand after mainnet launch. SERO also supports smart contracts and to put it simply, if Zcash/ Monero/Dash are privacy coins of Bitcoin then SERO is the privacy coin of ETH. We already did our very successful testnet back in September. :)

We are still to have our ICO and currently our Private Sale is going on. Since the market conditions are not at all suitable the ICO dates have been pushed till March. Our BetaNet Release version will be launched on 7th Jan 2019. The team is totally focused on building the protocol and we want to keep our product first instead of raising funds on shallow token models like other shitcoin projects. :)

Can they just develop their platform and show us their working product afterwards?
