Title: Where are you playing Poker?
Post by: TimtheYoutuber on December 30, 2018, 05:21:10 PM
Since I can not play on Pokerstars, I play on Seals with clubs (https://swcpoker.eu/a/vM2y2VQX) that only uses Bitcoin. I don't have it downloaded, I just play via the browser. Where do you guys play?

If you are looking for a place you can sign up on Swc.  (https://swcpoker.eu/a/vM2y2VQX/)

If you already play on here, PM me or post your username so I can slow roll you ;) .

I like their website design, are you affiliated with them?

But I'm curious as to why you can't play on PokerStars, I don't like to game on PC as it's too easy to forget about time and find yourself burning hours on tourneys. I might try swc just because they also have an android client, I'll let you know if like them more than PS

Nice of you to want to help
Thanks :)

Also try playing video poker in vegascasino.io
Honestly, I am not really into poker but more in jackpot slots because it is where I find enjoyment the most. There are really various gambling sites to choose from. Popular games such as poker, Baccarat, Black Jack, dice games and more, will surely be not absent in gambling sites. But if you would be observing the number of gambling games within a gambling site nowadays, you will observe how numerous the games are. There are even gambling sites which offers 1500 gambling games ( If I am not mistaken) I just forgot the name but the mere fact that such number of games do exist in some gambling sites, it will be really hard for the gamblers to just focus in one game.

Poker is one of the favorite gambling games for decades maybe especially in casinos. But since we are referring to online gambling sites where there are improvements with the games (graphics and kinds) , sticking into one game would be a hard thing to do (in my opinion) especially if you are not lucky enough on such games. But ofcourse we should respect other gamblers which do prefer a specific game when they are gambling. Poker is really profitable to play in gambling sites or even in casinos which made it as popular as it is at this moment.

I have experienced playing poker in vegascasino.io but it is just that I am not into this game as much as I am into jackpot slots or in other gambling games but I could say that playing poker is really enjoyable in this online casino. Deposits and withdrawals won't be also a problem.

Interesting I have never heard of that before, I will have to look into it. I enjoy playing blackjack when I feel extra gamblely but normally only play live.

If you use the code "cryptotim" when signing up then I make an affiliate bonus while you get some promotional deal. Otherwise no. If you sign up and have questions regardless of if you use my code you can PM me. I can't play on Pokerstars because I live in NY. Poker Stars has mobile as well if I am not mistaken.

Can you tell me what poker is available at vegascasino, is it the same as pokerstars or swc poker which is the main discussion in this thread? Sorry to say but you are just another shill of vegascasino who promotes it in almost every gambling discussion thread, but most of you do not even know what is the main discussion.  As long as you mention the site you are promoting, then you will come to the discussion.

Yeah it seems sort of spammy, and you are right the main topic was anywhere you can play poker online not sports or slot gambling.

Oh I just read your username, it's YOU :D That EOS guy! And I honestly never knew they don't operate in the US, that's a shame (but not really unexpectable because of how strict gambling is monitored for you guys). I registered on the website before you replied, I don't think I can add you as a referrer anymore, sorry!

I'll see you at the tables hopefully :) I'm really good at tourneys so I'm going to try and get one of them freerolls opening in a few days on swc before depositing.

I’ve been playing on Global Poker recently, but I’ve been thinking of trying a BTC room. My assumption has been that any BTC only site will just be a bunch of regs though, no?

You'll find regs anywhere you go. Whether you're on PokerStars or even live. Every good poker site with player liquidity will have players who aren't professional just looking for a good time.

I guess so. I would say that most of my friends I would consider “funner players” probably don’t know how to use Bitcoin.

Never knew about this myself since I usually stick to gambling on my PC which is why this was a good thread to check out in my case. I have an android mobile which is why I too will check out android apps for gambling soon.

I play poker on PokerStars regularly and I especially liked the UI of their website when compared to some other poker sites.

The offers are ok in my opinion and the tutorials are helpful. I will be checking out the relevant android apps soon.

The first thing I ever thought was "Can I do this on my phone" when I found pokerstars. Like I said above gambling on PC especially for long poker tourneys can very quickly murder worktime, doing it on phone at least means you'll already be using your free time so it's just a quick few rounds before going offline.

Pokerstars has a really neat UI for android too, their tourney search feature is top notch.

Finally, someone who also finds that playing on PC is a quick way to get fired. I don't any more play long games now, or even poker from PC, mainly because my main accesses to internet is from a work PC which my company allows us to use for leisure and games during our break times. But for more "always doing" stuff like forums and even stuff like freebitco.in lottery, I just stick to my mobile phone, and if the site doesn't load well on it, then I seldom return.

I'll check out Pokerstars since lots of you recommending.

Where do you guys play?

To kill time... I prefer free Poker Games on Facebook :)

If you are looking for a place ...

I rarely play on online websites/platforms, I just visit some casinos that is within my reach. Its simply because it's more addictive when you play it on your hand, unlike just playing it with your mouse and keyboard. Though the bets maybe be different but still I prefer the reality :) It's more exciting and you can also meet other people while playing or after you play, unlike on online,... chats are just too common and most of the times they're like to a be goner.

Anyways thanks for referring us to this site :) It might be worth of a try :)

Everyone here is talking about Pokerstars...

And I have to admit that I am yet to find a BTC accepting site that is reliable.
Most of them are either proved scams like betcoin or really poorly made gambling site like Nitrogen...

You can check the website OP mentioned (swc poker), there are freerolls every hour so you can check out the tables before depositing.
It looks like a small little community of regs, but then again it's always the case anywhere you go where there isn't a lot of people.

Pokerstars doesn't accept BTC.. It is TECHNICALLY possible to do : Btc > Neteller > Pokerstars, which is very easy and doesn't even require KYC. (Up to reasonable deposit limits I figure..)

yeah I tried one of them and my experience was good but I can never recommend it or even trust it with serious money
site name was allnewpoker and the agent I dealt with had a thread here in the forums but I can't see him these days
I still have his telegram tho in case you want to try it

but in general I can't trust these sites cause at any moment they may close so I was depositing really small amounts and cashout the profit right after I double the money
software is nice and games are softer than other sites

Also, a few weeks ago someone was asking about poker sites and one response was about a poker gaming app, which was more like an explorable map with targets and missions to achieve to unlock the next area etc.

I've been trying to find something similar... I know of course poker is still best played as a card game without distractions but I wonder if RPG elements like that could help give a site something different. Anyone know of that type of poker? And Bitcoin of course.

Its a little bit confusing about what you actually searching for, it is either to get poker sites or rpg? Because of these does play a good role on their own model. If I can say both of these can't be joined either you need to focus on poker or rpg. Btw I forgot the name about the site that I played but I think I ever played on this kind of site, but I do not think that it is as same as the one you asked since combining poker into rpg is a little bit hard to do

I mainly prefer to choose live games than playing with algorithm which first let you win later grabs whole balance. Evolution games have better user interface and dealers are nice there for all type of casino games. I played poker on PokerStars and their tournaments is second to none. Regular poker players can confirm my opinion.

Pokerstars has good liquidity and GTD. However there are some downsides, especially if you are not in an area that allows it.

That's true, but everyone has their own views, they don't understand what others like, but the same and we don't understand what people like. But only understanding when bitcoin comes, many gamblers welcome their arrival, the gambling industry continues to increase to this day. Apart from that, I prefer to choose dice and Hilo, maybe the game can be said with a game that relies solely on luck, correct me if I wrong.

Black jack makes a huge difference when it is live vs machine. So I believe he is saying he would rather play a live game(even some online sites like 888 have live blackjack)

There are other games offered in the website but since you are fan with poker then i suggest you to take a visit on that website. Actually I do not think that they are well known for their poker games, since from the start what their aim is about their dice games and some others but for poker I do not think so. I believe what OP means about the poker site is like swcpoker which in the past they already have a good progress with it but something went wrong that they must close their site. But it seems they are opening it back again and start their marketing as well to gain more players

This is always better idea to go to casinos with friends and hangout and have a great time playing the poker. Somehow even if you do it online I am sure people might not get the feel which you get it when you play in casinos. Also along with spending quality time with friends you gamble and just in case if you win you get extra money too and give your friends a party .

I don't play as regularly as I used to, but since bitcoin poker site still don't have a lot of players, I usually make a few games on pokerstars. It's easy to find a game anytime I want, and it's reliable, or at least I never had any problems with them.

Also along with spending quality time with friends you gamble and just in case if you win you get extra money too and give your friends a party .

Right. Gambling sites are better for solo games where you're not actually required to have interaction with other players. What makes poker great is that you get to put your wits and strategy  to be able to read your opponents hand or bluff your way out. It's way better seeing your opponents' reaction and eye movements.

I don't play as regularly as I used to, but since bitcoin poker site still don't have a lot of players, I usually make a few games on pokerstars. It's easy to find a game anytime I want, and it's reliable, or at least I never had any problems with them.

Bitcoin poker does have a lot of positive sides to it. However I certainly agree, player liquidity is certainly lower.

The best place to play right now is PokerStars. There are many users that they play there and the pots are usually good enough. I am wondering why you can't play on it. Is there any specific reason?

I also play at Zynga on my spare time but without money. I am not sure if you can play there with real money, you can check it as I think it is a good place and you will enjoy the game.

I play on SWC regularly with the same username as I have here. I find this site to be very good working and with many various games to play. It's a mystery to me why there are only 100-120 players online every time I visit it. I think poker lovers should enjoy it. Another good place I play for years on is BetcoinPoker. They have many attractive GTD tournaments with over 1,000 participants in some of them. They also run free rolls regularly with $10 prize pool or with tickets for another tournaments as prizes.

I prefer pokerstars as well to play for many reasons.

-Most crypto only poker rooms are dodgy.
-almost no players liquidity
-Probably lots of 'house players'
- not a hug variety in games.

So thats why I will exclusively play poker on pokerstars. And I play there with BTC so its a 2 in 1 solution for me.

I use Neteller or skrill to play on Pokerstars with my bitcoin. All my profits I make on stars I convert back to BTC, certainly now when BTC is that cheap

Mostly I play poker on casinos but because of my busy days I tried to play online, and pokerstars is just a good place for me to play. Yes, liquidity is a big thing so if you choose gambling sites always know their rules about withdrawing.

Yes certainly, some sites might have minimal withdraws that might be high depending on your bankroll.

I am playing in Fiat casinos not because I like more the Fiat casinos but because in there the activity is more than even the best crypto poker casino. I am playing at bet365 and globet which are two of my favourites and have a lot of activity in their poker lobby.

Live poker is fun but takes a lot more effort to get down there, and then of course you could bust a tournament or something in a minute and then have nothing else to do.

If you have country restrictions, then you have to stick to online poker rather than enjoy playing live poker. In my country, we don't have fiat casinos licensed in every state, only in a few selected state. And there is no personal favourite site to play as I don't find it interesting to play online because Casino and site has a huge difference, and Casino always attracts me more.

If you've been thinking about the casino, I like to go to the nearest casino store with friends to drink and play a bit. It's a good party and we enjoy it. I've heard of online casion where there are other games and poker, but I think it's more fun for me to play with my friends.

It really does not matter where you are playing poker unless and until you are enjoying it. To go with friends to casino to play poker in a good mood and weather is an exceptional experience which is hard to explain in words.  Although I do prefer to play poker online but when my friends insists, i do go to casino to enjoy with them.

I haven't play Texas Hold'em Poker not because of age but because a lack of capital and time. Anyway, I've seen few people here in our place (just friends of my friend) which play poker even only in the outside of their house ;D. So as an aspiring gambler, I watched and conclude that everything is the same like others play in casinos, the only difference is their bets is way smaller and do not use chips (notes and coins only). Actually, I'm shocked at first and doubt if it's legit because it was my first time to see this game played in the local street. Nevertheless it was awesome to witnessed such scenario, probably I'll be their buddies in the near future and also join on one of their games.

I only play at fiat casinos because I do not trust people behind a computer and all of the bots.
Last year I was big fan of playing BTC poker until some weird things began to happen.
Cards coming up on the river that had a 20-1, 30-1 chances started hitting.
After I caught 2 horrible bad beats on the river card, I knew it was a fix and it was time to only play with fiat.

So far on playing poker online I didn't able to experience such horrible thing on having the feeling of being cheated/rigged.
I'm playing online but I do still managed to win,If I win then I call it a day and if i lose then moved on.  ;D

Yes, government restriction can be an issue, but I think that still there are different sources through which you can enjoy gambling on live games, for example in my country a lot of bookies are there who facilities you to play gambling on sports games using your cell phone etc. The chance to be trace by the government or forces are also low there. I personally play gambling on sports, currently PSL has started and I have already made some bets there.

I am sorry poker is not my favorite as I am having less facilities to learn it and to play it. I checked here and with my close friends, most of them are just staying away from poker for unknown reasons (not favorite for no reasons).

You are lucky If you still not faced any issue, but we have to accept the fact that not all gambling sites are honest.
There are a lot of gambling sites, whose aim is only to collect money from people. We need to be too much careful while putting our money in a gambling site. We need to be careful while choosing a online casino, and should always try to choose a casino which have good reputation and trusted casino for playing gambling online.

Old gambling sites like bitvest is one of the trusted and popular site to play gambling  .  the site is up and running for a couple of year now , without major known issues.

Gambling sites does not collect money or cheat us  . gambling sites are fair .  its just hard to earn a profit on them because luck do rarely occurs   .

Other guys think that playing card based games like poker is more better because they think it is skill based but they are still actually the same as other type of gambling .  you can still loose and win depending on your luck .

I have already got an account at SwC and playing some small bets on roulette as that's my speciality. Waiting for some more funds to come in to play poker there. I'm not too good in it as I stopped playing it 6 years back, what would be your advise whether I should begin playing it or not? Has anything changed or are the old tactics still working currently?

Since poker is a popular gambling game for decades, either on actual casino or through online, it won't be missing in a single gambling site. Those whoa re playing gambling for years already would be surely wanting to engage themselves on gambling sites in which games of this kind is present than on those gambling sites these days, dominated by new games.

I do play poker but not that much because I am more into jackpot slots, and I find it more interesting. I've been in a  gambling (https://to.crwd.cr/smtm) site for months already. Honestly, there are many gambling sites to choose from but I chose to stay because it is a blockchain based site, and also, it is user friendly which allows me to enjoy playing gambling, more.

Playing poker is really the best entertainment in all gambling games. My question is what are your reasons why you mostly play in online gambling site rather than at the casino ?
Poker is really the best gambling card game that i have ever played because it gives me a huge thrill and i like the strategy of the game poker because you need bluff your opponents for them to fold their cards. The reason i play poker in a online gambling site (https://vegascasino.io/casino/video-slots/stellar-spins?utm_source=cc-ss) rather than at the casino because i don't need to drive myself or less hassle for me to go at the casino, and also whenever i am at work or any places i could play poker. I only at the casino to play poker if my friends just invited me to go with them at the casino.

SWC is fine and fun but you can try another poker games from fortunejack or video poker on crypto games.

I sometimes playing poker in fortunejack because it is live than the other gambling sites.
