Title: My Year in Crypto: Spent all my money and this year to build a new blockchain
Post by: llustosa on December 31, 2018, 03:48:14 PM
I left my full time Job as software engineer on a Big financial company on December 20, 2017. After selling stock options I received for working on a startup some years ago, I decided to do an All in. With money to live by a year, I started to code. I've been coding for living since was teenager, the thing that I do best. Was troubled year, but I learned a lot, and I`m very proud of what we did till now. This is not how I was specting to end the year, but here we are. Now that my money is gone, I'm realeasing the source code of what we have done so far.

I develepod a blockchain from scratch, with cross chain capabilities, to create a trully descentralized exchange, that is how cryptocrurrencies should be traded. Not the centralized way that is today.

So, here are a draft of our paper, not technical:
https://bizanc.io/documentos/Bizanc-whitepaper-draft.pdf (https://bizanc.io/documentos/Bizanc-whitepaper-draft.pdf)

The Block Explorer:
https://bizanc.io/explorer (https://bizanc.io/explorer)

And the source code:
https://github.com/bizanc/Bizanc.io.Core (https://github.com/bizanc/Bizanc.io.Core)

We Intent to start the testnet in february with Bitcoin testnet faucets and rinkeby Ether and tokens support.

We are looking for investment but
I'll probrably need to find a job now. My intent here is to share with the crypto community for the first time. Hoping this get some attention and maybe we get some financing. if you want to colaborate or get in touch, post here, or send an email to contact@bizanc.io. Any questions I'll be glad to answer.

Have you tried to seek seed funding or something similar? IIRC I've read about this project on a different thread, but never know that you still need to raise more funding for this. You'll need to increase your exposure, or maybe add a famous advisor in order to get more credibility. Just my 2 cents.

I am interested in funding part of your project, however is your decentralized exchange any faster than traditional ones? Its basically impossible to trade short term using decentralized exchanges right now. Could you contact me at @astargath on telegram?

You can check this project to create fundraising campaign
https://republic.co/crypto or you can check and try to contact similar project's investors. I hope you can get some funds before you have to start a day job.

Thanks for your reply. We've tried VCs, but without much success. We are still going and the future looks brighter now. Soon we'll release a detailed roadmap, but next month we'll start a airdrop campaign and a Beta Net, with mined funds going to mainnet. After the mainnet launch, plannet to september, we'll do a Biz sale, directly in our DEX. Much of the development is already done, but we spect to raise funds for marketing and improvements. As soon as we have more details I'll post here. Please join us on Discord.

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. I'll send you a private message.
Besides having on-chain order books, we don't depend on other blockchains for that, only the Bizanc Chain, so we plan to delivery a better user experience and scalability for decentralized trading.

Thanks for your feedback. I'll check it out. We already developed a airdrop structure, and we'll do the crowd sale directly in our DEX, in the main net oppening.

it is best if you provide links to all your project's dependencies so that it becomes easier to find those projects without needing to do a search for each of them. it also is going to address the licensing issue since not all of them are simple MIT licenses and you have to include a copy of a license like Apache in your project when you are using a dependency that has that license (like serilog).

I will follow this project with interest. It would be good if you could set up a mailing list so people like me who are interested in knowing about updates, airdrops, etc. can be informed without needing to pay attention to Discord or social media.
