This is great for anyone who owns a sports betting site or wants to try and flip this by selling it to a site. I have been in talks with 1 site currently, and will only be selling this once. So if you buy the algorithm no one else will get it, unless you choose to sell it to multiple sites.
What is it? - This algorithm helps to figure out profitable player insurance policies. Why would this be useful in sports betting? - This new idea is perfect to add a competitive edge to any sports gambling site. It allows users to purchase insurance policies on star players in the NFL & NBA. If the player is injured and the team loses then the policy would kick in to pay the buyer. This is useful to the buyer because if he/she is placing a bet on a team ML, then they might want to ensure the star player. If the star player is hurt, then the team will likely lose taking away there ML bet. This algorithm finds the perfect price for the policy to ensure that the site can remain profitable. It is based on player past statistics and can be easily implemented into any sports betting software to be automotive. How does bidding work? It looks at there previous injuries and bases it per position. (Some injuries are more likely to come back, some positions have a higher risk.) Some people are also more injury prone. It also takes into account minutes played on average, and age of the player. Lots of statistics are used to figure out the rate at which a player would be injured. |
