hello guys, i'm just wondering if we can be able to store those stable coins on mew for locking profits. If we can be able to do that then we dont need to convert our trading money to fiat just to lock in profits which is very helpful.

Yes this is true. In the MyEtherWallet wallet, a stable USDT coin has long been on the list and can be stored in this wallet, which is really, very convenient. Although these coins do not bring us profit, however, they create additional convenience for the use of cryptocurrency. Stable coins act as a buffer or settler, when funds need to be urgently withdrawn from a certain coin or token, and the time for investing in another type has not yet come up or you have not yet made your choice.

MEW is one of the best wallet to store USDT coin,the other wallet can be OMNI so give it a try if you don't like to store them in MEW.

Thank you, guy. I have just known that. I thought USDT was stored in exchanges only. Whether other stable coins can be stored in MEW too?

USDT isn't an ERC token so NO.

But it would be cool to have a stablecoin that can be stored in a wallet. Of course we don't want to have a lot of USDT on excahnge but are just keeping  it that  way til  the bear is over.  USDT in the exchange still is in danger as its still not personally yours when its not in the wallet you personally own.

It depend on whether your USDT is the ERC20 or native coin. The easy way to check is to see whether your USDT address start with 0x, if it is then you can use MEW to store it. It is also better to test with small amount for first transfer to be sure.

I have never saved USDT and TUSD in myetherwallet because they have their own smartcontrac, even if I buy usdt it is only for trading, not saving for a long time, and I keep it in the market even though it is very risky.

MEW doesn't only supports ERC tokens it will quite support other currencies too,If you don't know USDT is supported on MEW or not read here : https://www.finder.com/in/best-tether-wallets

these are coins not tokens but there is tusd erc 20 token bakced by $$ and you can store it on mew. there is no safe way to store the usdt on any offline wallet than omni or hardware wallet. go for TrueUSD (TUSD)

No, I am not holding any stable coin like USDT or USDC. But i got a one coin what named stable coin - it is Neluns. Actually, now I first time heared that it is possible to hold stable coin in MEW. Need try to do that with my wallet.

USDT is not an etherum token but this is an omni wallet token, so I think MEW cannot store USDT tokens, which I know MEW only supports erc20 and erc721

For storing your profit you can use trueusd,usdtether,or other alternatives. You need  Myetherwallet if you have Erc-20 tokens and you wanna to control your own tokens,eth with pre-owned pirvate keys. For trading purpose you can use bitcoin in order to avoid double fee,high comissions to broker,exhanges.

Not aware abut it.  Its been said above before my reply here but didn't actually thought they were right. 

This is the most interesting that I have learned today. This means that the total supply and circulation of these stablecoin will actually decrease over time and the value can increase as well when in fact it has to be pegged in USD.

That's good news to be I will soon convert some of my tokens to USDT they seems to be a more stable coin in the market, I thought there is no wallet for USDT, it is good to trade your coin to USDT now that the market is not performing well.

why do you want to keep this stable coin on MEW? You use them to buy Fiat or buy some coins. you should keep them on the exchange
