We hear about it and I think the founder was already arrested, one of the scam coins in crypto.
I admire the growth of that coin in the start but suddenly it went dump and this creates a big time loss for the investors.

This was the annual ceremony created by scammers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJ_M4Ke3-_o

I'm not sure if all of the people that involved in the bitconnect operation has already arrested. It's not even a big loss but it has become a scam project when it started. So many people didn't even care so much about all of the awareness.

sorry to hear that, hope your wife don't have lost too much money from bcc, I think most of us know that what is BCC, Bitconnect was suspected of being a Ponzi scheme long time ago because of its multilevel marketing structure and impossibly high payouts, BCC prices crashed by 92% immediately after announced it would shut down its cryptocurrency exchange and lending operation.

This is a big scam ever. As far as I know, It scammed about 1 billion dollar from investors. And it is a big lesson for all people in cryptocurrency space.

yes I have heard the news, BCC has announced that they will turn off all operations of their project and those who invest all of the money from the BCC project will suffer huge losses, it seems I have read some people's reviews that BCC uses the ponzi scheme and I am confused why many people think of investing their money in projects that use the ponzi scheme even though in the same year there were some pretty good projects, while investors only thought of a momentary advantage. All of BCC System is totally death one year ago and will not life again.

I guess it one of the most successful Ponzi scheme in cryptocurrencies space. The scheme was clear it shows something suspicious but it is able to gain community trust. A unique type of Ponzi makes a lot of people deceived. There was a lot of people that suggest staying away from BCC but still, a lot of people doesn't care about it.

I think bitconnect has collapsed a long time now
It was a failed Ponzi scheme and they went away with a lot money
But it’s a lesson

Move on because bcc is not coming back

It was pretty clear after so huge and fast drop. I suppose it wasn't a surprise for most of community. Bitconnect was one of first projects which showed the real danger of investments in malicious projects.

I am surprised your still mentioning this coin. It is long gone and no longer on CMC. The exchanges that listed it when it was still alive, would have deleted it. Which invariably means it is dead.
This is one of the coins that caused havoc to investors in the crypto space, because the strategy the team used was almost perfect, that it takes serious research to discover that it is scam.
Well, it has thought a lot of people serious lessons.

The risk borne is indeed sad, but the BCC has disappeared from the throne so it doesn't need to worry, invest in other potentially more coins, don't regret and return to coins that have a future.

Sorry for your wifes loss of money and talking about its update then this coin or project is long time gone. If you aren't aware on the updates
then you can simply type in google. BCC scam. You will able to find out all necessary informations if you do like to check on what happened. This isn't new thing on crypto
where there are lots of scam coins so its better to be watchful anytime when making an investment.

Weird though, it's been almost a year since the news came out that they are shutting down.

I guess its everyone job to really monitor your investments. Anyhow, I don't know how much your wife has invested so its a lost already.

I don't monitor the BCC enough, so I don't know all the information related to BCC, indeed for BCC coins I have heard about it, I just didn't trace about its development.

They had an exit scam quickly.

I didn't invested nor interested with bitconnect before, after reading all of those reminders from the people who had been concerned to the community that BCC is a ponzi scam. They were all correct with what they said, feeling sorry to those that lost a lot of money with this scam.

They even treated that it will be their life saver not knowing that they became the cash cow of this scam. Still remember the famous "hey hey heyyyyy......waza waza wazaaaaa"?

Sorry to hear your wife was a victim to that scam coin. Bitconnect was delisted from all the exchanges it was trading. US SEC sued most of its sponsors especially Youtubers like trevon james, craig grant, etc.
Its such a pity people fell for bitconnect. Hope people have learnt their lessons. Research a coin with due deligence before investing to avoid stories that touch.

I totally forget this after BitcoinCash was introduced and it was also denoted by BCC in few exchanges (I guess later it was named to BCH). I remember it was like a ponzi scheme like we need to invest with them and need to refer new people to them. I just heard these by mid of 2017 but never touched them as my basic principle is never considering any ponzi or similar to ponzi things.

Unfortunately, if you deposit funds, you will be deceived because its founder has been arrested and the exchange no longer exists.

And you are still replying on here? Does your answer make OP satisfied? No.

From what OP saying, his wife was broke because of BCC lost more than 95% from their value, but it seems her wife didn't sell it until now. That's why OP asking us about BCC's update which ended so tragic.
