Bump Post by: Parker2010 on January 01, 2019, 10:57:51 AM BUMP Moves your post to the top of the list. Bump full form Bring up my post. If you write BUMP, your post will be on top of the list and Your post will come in front of everyone. But you can write Bump only one times in 24 hours. Can I type Bump on my service posts also or is there any limitation? Title: Re: Re. Bump Post by: Parker2010 on January 01, 2019, 10:59:29 AM BUMP Moves your post to the top of the list. Old bumps should be deleted. [2] Title: Re: Re. Bump Post by: Johnzky on January 01, 2019, 11:23:07 AM Can I type Bump on my service posts also or is there any limitation? Yes ofcourse you can write bump in your service post. But remember write bump only one time during 24 hours. Do I reply or Quote? ========== And again as what SFR10 say according to mprep forum rule, the old bump should be deleted Title: Re: Re. Bump Post by: KingZee on January 01, 2019, 12:52:07 PM Most people don't do this but I recommend you do.
Every time you "bump" your thread, when you want to bump it the next time try deleting the old bump first, if you can't delete it yet it means that you still need to wait for the 24 hours to finish before you can bump again. Correct? This is a good example of a bad bump. You posted twice in a row in less than 24 hours. If your post is the last one in the thread and it was made less than 24h ago - edit it, don't create a new one. This is not chat. Title: Re: Re. Bump Post by: boyptc on January 03, 2019, 04:02:21 AM Don't also use another account (newbie) just to keep on bumping your thread through a continuous post of feedback.
This usually happens when there's an army of newbies telling "this is a good service" bla bla etc.. Title: Re: Re. If OP were found out doing this kind of thing, red-trust is nearly guaranteed. Title: Re: Re. I reminded him and said that since he is into sales because he might see others doing that not knowing it is against the forum rules and a very unethical act. Title: Re: Re. Bump Post by: Jet Cash on January 04, 2019, 09:34:28 AM Don't forget that a "bump" on the human body is an indication of infection, disease or damage. Some people consider that the same applies to threads, If nobody has replied to you thread, and you don't have any new information or developments, then maybe you should let the thread die. Constant bumping may give the impression of desperation.
Title: Re: Re. Bump Post by: Hivalley on January 04, 2019, 09:46:13 AM Even if you intend bumping your own thread, try not to pay your friends to do likewise for you, or using bot accounts for such proposes,it will only make your thread or your service look unattractive and anyone with decent knowledge in here would pay it less attention
Go through the rules, and bump the normal/acceptable way, and if you've done that for quite sometime without the intended response, then it's best to let the thread be |
