I know everyone is expecting that the market price will bull last year as what happened last December 2018, but it didn't happen. Do you think that the market price will be bullish this 2019 like in 2018?  ???

Bullish or bearish you meant to say? 2018 was a bearish year not bullish and many who are disappointed are either new investors or newbies looking for quick money make out ,bull won't just come like that let's not forget 'correction' .2019 is just getting started and we will see slow market correction ,put aside bakkt and etf ,even wall street investment ,bull is still months far away I'm thinking the next bitcoin halving

There are lots of predictions and speculations on the price. But you should place more emphasis on the product and it's development, learn more this year about the block ledger technology. This positions you better to profit from digital assets.

my hope is always positive the price will rise in the future because the nature of the bitcoin price can grow, in the price decline, there will definitely be a price increase so we just wait for the truth. of course, all bitcoin holders want prices to recover quickly and stable.

I'm hoping to see some recovery, and looking at past trends, I do believe it will at-least double IMO. But as most have said, it's anyone's guess.

Bullish for 2019 I think so.  I think people will be shocked selling especially altcoins that have fallen 90 to 99% and then they go back up 10 to 100 fold. Can't wait for that day.  In fact it was taking longer than i anticipated. I don't bitcoin would have fell below $ 6000 and altcoins would have fell 40% if bakkt would have been scheduled to start in November. Maybe around January 24 will cryptocurrency if bakkt doesn't get delayed further or fidelity or Nasdaq or sec etf approval.

I think it reaches better end of 2018 at end of 2019 but It's so hard to break like it happened in 2017. But don't forget that nothing is impossible in crypto market, so I'm still hope it can hit new top.

This question is asked a million times but you will always get the same answer, no one can predict if there will be a bullish run for cryptocurrency market this year. We can make an analysis and see some signs but it is all not accurate, sometimes when we see good signs but the market reacts oppositely. We see some big names saying Bitcoin will reach a new all time high but those are non basis sentiments, they just want more people to enter the market. But of course it is always possible to have a bullish market but no one can say when it will occur. We all want that to happen but all we can do is to speculate.

if you are looking for a big bang and a new ATH beyond your expectation, in short something like what happened in 2017 or in multiple occasions in previous years, then the answer is no. I don't think that kind of big ass rise is possible this year but that doesn't mean there will be no rise at all. there will be rises and market will turn bullish soon enough because the bear market had its course and then some. so it is time to finish it and move on to the next chapter of this roller coaster.

I speculate that this year, it will be a good year for Bitcoin but I don't think that it will reach its highest peak at $20,000 unless a series of positive news that can make Bitcoin's price higher will happen.

I am one of those people that is in one way for this hopes that the market price will come bullish this year 2019. And that will not only bring good vibes to me but also will bring a good thing for the crypto projects in the community.

Prepare for the worst but hope for the best. That is my mentality as of now as the new year 2019 has already come in. I was not prepapred for the worst last year. I was really caught by surprise that Bitcoin could go down as low as $3,000 when it has already conquered $20,000. The same goes to almost all the altcoins beginning from the top spot up to the bottom. It was almost surreal to me. But what was important is that Bitcoin and the entire world of crypto has not succumbed and crumbled down. We continue to lift it up in our own little ways.

Hey there was no bull run in December 2018, we witnessed it back in December 2017 and in December 2018 we were seeing recovery from the damages done because of Bch civil war. I'm optimistic that in coming months we shall see a rally in bitcoins prices, but it's too early to say if it'll reach 20k levels again. I would advise you to read current events, and learn more about the volatility of bitcoins as you seem to be lacking basic knowledge about it.

We had all 2018 bearish with whole market seeing loses and loses. Now Wait for it guys, Market is already bullish and will go up and up from now. More big gains coming this year.

according to some analysis of the experts that I read, the possibility that it can happen quickly or can wait 2 years depending on how the market develops. but if you look at some of the recent predictions, the market will need quite a long time, at least high growth is forecast for 2020.

Are you honestly making a conclusion that we're already in a bearish market just because we had a price increase of 4% and once again hit the $4000 price mark? Jeez. That's what I call hopium. Not saying it will, but we could just as well drop down back to the $3300 range in a few days.

No one knows for sure the increase in the crypto market, and we can only speculate on what we predict, but it is likely that in 2019 it will be better than 2018.

I think we should focus more on building good platforms that shall help in providing mass adoption of crypto, Bitcoin and blockchain other than always asking about Bull run. I think that was why it never happened in 2018. We have to build the system first.

To me I believe bitcoin market is going to be bullish this year 2019.  My reasons are that bitcoin is getting stronger by the day and I believe that many investors are began to build faith in it.  I also think that the bullish trend is going to resume as the market is looking a bit stable at the moment.  Traders are coming back into the market and very soon we would start to see bitcoin pumpping up. 
Remember that ETF might be likely get approved this year and if that happens we should expect bitcoin to move up like never before. 2018 has come and gone and I do not expect what happened last year to happing this year again.

2019 won't be bullish. If you look at the monthly candles, a new downtrend was triggered less than 2 months ago. You can't expect these losses to be immediately recovered. Too many people will sell into every bounce. It will take many months to exhaust these sellers.

I am, however, confident about this much: 2019 will be much more bullish than 2018. That's not saying much, since 2018 saw an 82% loss. For 2019 to match that, we would need to fall deep into the triple digits.

The best case scenario is a year of ranging with the $3K area being the bottom.

It is too early to tell but it did not bullish in 2018 but the bearish market is still in effect right now. That's so quick? I don't think so, if it turned to bullish we won't be staying anymore to $3,800 - $4,000 and it will turn to $5,000 and so on that fast. But what we see today it is becoming stable once again and slowly moving.

We really can't tell if Bakkt's launching will give that impact that everyone is expecting. And the colors aren't really the indicators that the market is going good if we see it for awhile into green. After it goes to green, next would be reddish.

Don't expect someone will answer you, because no one know how the future is going to be, so better do what you can and hope for the better outcome.

There are experts here and there are technical analysts here who are all got enough opportunities to prove their accuracy on various occasions hence you may find your answers as this community is as powerful as you could imagine. I mean to say there will be nothing wrong to have such a discussion for predicting what 2019 will be having for every bitcoiner. I expect bitcoin may slowly reach $9,000 to $12,000 range before we enter into 2020.

Sign may happen at anytime hence it does not mean that bulls will sleep always. Even it is too early, I do start reading the signs of bull's wake up. Fasten your belts well in advance.

2020 and 2021 will be Bullish years. 2019 will be just normal. stable year for Bitcoin with some out of crypto nice gains, but looking from cryptospace it will look stable year.

Yeah as per observations on the current days that bitcoin has been changing it's price in the market, we can't really find a good and trusted signs. But it's not the reason for other weak handed traders to dump their coins immediately, rather they should be able to control themselves from selling their assets. One of the big problems from previous year, people always panic yet they're not gaining courage while bearish market always happened. For now holding an asset would be the best strategy to make.

Not everyone. All signs of a bearish trend was written off the wall already when the price grow exponentially in December 2017. Just a matter of time before this bubble will be burst, which did happened in 2018.


At this point we really cannot see a bullish upward trend because don't you forget that we are still in the bearish sentiment, we're still close to the last bottom ($3200), we're even a hard time breaking the $4200 barrier (next resistance), so we can never tell what 2019 will bring, hope to see the price goes up, but I wouldn't be surprised if we just tank the whole year long.

We will probably see an increase during this early nasdaq/bakkt/sec whatever things and we will move above 5 thousand dollars but that is nothing considering we were higher just 2 months ago, we will not even recover to the 6.5 thousand dollar levels, however after a while (after summer) we will probably start to see some increase due to the halving as well, there is a big chance companies and financial banks will start to put their money where their mouth is and after all the sec and so forth deals they will start to invest into crypto and have a part in this market.

They will want to do that before the halving so they don't buy it more expensive, if just "people" here can calculate that a huge investment firm probably has enough researchers to know this so they will invest before halving to make sure they get in cheaper.

I think you are referring to the way bitcoin market moves in 2017 and not 2018. I see us having a positive 2019 as everything is set for that. We have a spending ETF approvals which professionals are referring for it to happen in 2019. Now that the price is very cheap if we really want to make profits we have to invest now.

2019 is a recovery year for bitcoin, after 2018 bitcoin had a very tragic accident. I suggest for all bitcoin holders to continue to believe in bitcoin, and still hold the bitcoin you have.

What do you mean everything is set for a positive 2019? If anything, this year will still be full of uncertainties. And don't bet too much on an etf approval since it being moved several times alreadt could be an indication that we won't have positive results. And even if we did get an approval, i don't believe it will have a lasting effect anyways.

Of course, our hope is that all markets will find a rhythm for bulls this year, even more so for the next few months, but I am not sure if this happens if you see and learn from every market development

Up until now nobody ever really knows what or when would the bull market could occur but it might be a good time to accumulate as many tokens that we could. So that in the future we could just sell them with a big percentage of getting a good profit. Some say there will be bull run coming but some are saying that there is no bull run this year. I wouldn't expect too much from the market but i am longing to see the bull to happen.

Don't spend your mind thinking about crypto fate in 2019, because that will make you unable to calm down. Be patient, I think there is hope in 2019 for recovery.

Nobody can predict the future prices of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Even those positive developments that are related to the cryptocurrencies are not guaranteed to push the price up or trigger a bullrun. Everything has its own time so it better to wait or hold more patiently instead of relying in an unreliable prediction. In thisearly partof 2019, I've seen some positive growth in the cryptomarket and I hope thst this growth although not so big will continue for the whole year.

Well as we can see in the market right now and the happenings in crypto it's hard to predict what will be happen this year in crypto especially in bitcoin. Let's hope that everything will be good this year even the market is volatile.

If you ask a question like that then you will find two answers, bitcoin will increase and bitcoin will drop, but that is only limited to predictions. No one knows that bitcoin will go up or down, so for the profits you want then you must dare to speculate in making a choice.

This is hard to tell. Many are disappointed how the 2018 was for Bitcoin and now they are expecting almost miracle in 2019. For the moment there are no big movements in the market and no signs of some big changes in terms of significant price rise. Still it's only the beginning of the year  and there is still plenty of time but I wouldn't expect too much from this year. At the moment it looks like we will see current Bitcoin price range for a longer period of time.

Current phase of market shows us to be patient because there is no exit for traders who bought on peak of uptrend. Stable prices increase the room for accumulation period which can be start button for next trend. IMO price of bitcoin will test ATL during next 3 months and there's plenty of room at the bottom for taking deep breath before jumping upwards.

Big movements may get triggered on the event of most anticipated things like bitcoin ETF. I read there are many pending decisions on various bitcoin ETF and some companies are really working hard to convince SEC. One or other, we are going to have ETF approval then we may start forgetting those 2018's bad things. I believe ETF kind of big things alone deliberately needed as of now.

This year started with positive but right now market is moving sideways. Even it is boring, I guess most people here are just watching how the support levels are holding. If they remain unbroken then we can be sure about positive things on this year which might be possible in second quarter of this year.

I suppose you meant to ask if the market of 2019 will be bullish as it was in 2017, because the market was bearish during 2018, the truth is no one knows, you are talking about long term trends and the current year is not even a month old so it is not possible to answer that question with any certainty, but to me this year will be one where neither the bears or the bulls will get the advantage and we will see the price suffering several corrections as one side gets a temporary advantage over the other.

In one word the market is "unpredictable" even the big analyst are maintaining silence these days is pretty shocking, only few expects reveal there is bright for Bitcoin. Hopefully this year will be full of joy and happiness for the crypto users.

Lol. Joy and happiness seldom happens for a sustained time. You have to be a good trader to be able to maximize certain market movements to make profit in this kind of trend. Personally i don't want to expect any bulls to make a move anytime soon.

Hi, hard to answer, but no one can answer your question, i can only assume or give a tip. I would be very glad if this year finally became a bull run.
But, as i noticed, the thing is repeated after many years - if you mean an extreme bull run. So my answer is - we have to wait. I estimate this for 2020-2021.

I am not too optimistic about that because there are still many ico scams and exchanges being hacked, we will never see a bull if these two things still occur frequently.

If there's a possibility of price to be bullish this 2019, we can see higher market demands. For now there is no signals that it will happen. But, I do believe that this situation might become a big surprise and that's very unpredictable. Hopefully everybody will learn to trust crypto specially those who just started lately, and they should be able to learn how to control emotions towards holding crypto assets.

Depends with how much money you can try to trust. Its all about that trust, if you trust in bullish market than invest now, if you believe in drop sell what you have, dont wait to lose money. Its bottom line, you try or not try, believe or not believe, either way you are risking, why not to risk for what you believe in, dont wait others to tell you that.
If you know that bitcoin will hit $100 K in next few years, you would sell everything you have and you would wait, like any of us here. We don`t know that, so we need to risk, each of us is risking, to take $100 now or to wait few years and have nothing or $10 K? Choice is on each of us.

neither of these two have anything to do with bitcoin price, and the rest of the market doesn't matter at all because the rest is mostly pump and dump altcoins which are constantly being pumped and dumped with or without the overall market being bullish or bearish!

as for those two, the scams and hacks have been happening ever since bitcoin gained value and began being traded. they are not a force to be able to postpone a bull run. what they can do is to cause temporary panic among weak hands which whales use to their own advantage. and since nowadays the market is mostly free of weak hands there is no reason for any drop due to any of these dramas.
