Post by: techguy on March 10, 2014, 02:23:10 PM
Here are some of the ideas for enterpreneurs to start their own business based on these concepts.

1. Bitcoin Transaction Graphical Visualizer
2. Find stolen bitcoins
3. Bitcoin / Altcoin payments Integrator
4. Bitcoin price fluctate finder using BigData analytics
5. Bitcoin services on SMS platform ( http://www.txtweb.com/ )
6. Hardware Bitcoins ( http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/589/hardware-bitcoins-smartcards-rfid-etc )

More details...coming soon.

(Feel free to suggest more ideas)

Why not try to see if we can put this under a opensource project. Get people to contribute to making this possible.

"6. Hardware Bitcoins"  - Working on this  with a few people.  not yet opensource.

But the others it would be nice to see  some movement going on.

finding stolen Bitcoin. this is some thing i have been  think of  for some time and is a possibility.

But on a serious note :

Lets do some thing like this. Form a FOSS group involved in contributing new idea and starting these type of projects.

I am already running project Nemesis what has a alt coin under works.  if its comfortable we can put it under it. a list of opensource projects that we can all work on and pool resources. If we get funding we can  allocate the funding on the project that needs the most and can even share resources of  each project.

We can have all the regional meetup groups have people talk about the  FOSS group and have  people signup from there, make this a truly national project.  this will also allow us to consolidate the meetup groups to stay on the same page through the country.

Open Source - Let more students, developers & like minded people come forward and work on some open source ideas.
Entrepreneurs - I would like to see more indian entrepreneurs to build great startups like 'Watsapp' and sell it to 'Facebook'.  Do a thorough market analysis, identify the gaps & build some innovative products based on these ideas.

I encourage both 'Open source projects' & 'Entrepreneurs to build new startups'.

Feel free to add these projects under Nemesis. I have serious plans to work on one of these ideas. Currently, I am tied up with other work. Instead of telling words, I will put it in to action(code)  :). More details coming soon....

If kids really love it, we should do some cartoon representation of transactions ;)

What I meant by point-1 is - more of the visualization idea related to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=462230 ,

one more idea: shorten bitcoin address

You mean this ?

Quote
http://myb.tc (0.1 btc for a year, and you can update your account)
http://payb.tc (completely free, but you can't update your account once created)
http://firstbits.com (shortener with a different shortening concept)
http://btc.to (let's users do reverse lookups, can't choose a specific short name, yet)

There's even a couple more around too, but I've forgotten their URLs at the moment.
