I wonder how can you make profit by offering such a huge monthly contest. In fact it is not 5btc, but it is 10btc in total for 5 winners http://prntscr.com/m4qyj8. I do even think a non pvp gambling site wont be able to afford such huge amount monthly. While you are a pvp based game and only earn from fee, in other hand the contest is just a referral contests. Are you sure that you wont be bankrupt in short time by offering huge referral contest while you may not earn even 1btc a month from the fee? One more thing, could you sign a message of an address with at least 10btc for this contest?

We definitely won't have the ROI (return on investment) for the first month, and the high-rate reward for the contest is only available for this very first month. After that, the contest can only be 0.5 bitcoin (depends on the profit of our website and our budget).

I don't know but for a contest worth 10 BTC, you should really set some rules properly. I couldn't find any rules and that's not a comfort for people wanting to participate. All it says is referrals must play 10 games but looking at the website, there's no one in chat and only 3 games available. Leaderboard is also not updated real time (I don't believe there is not even a single player referred).

And of course, proof of funds are needed. That's the bare minimum.

We have just run the website a few hours ago and haven't had any advertising campaigns at the moment besides this post. We will run advertising campaigns soon in the future and you will see more players.

First, this site is cheap looking and i dont believe that someone do have that big money wont focus on sites design.

Second, i checked out on the address you have given on where you pass up 11 BTC on 39CF9XzpiBHDjnRyadGJgebauNeCMUdaoi which cames from 1NDyJtNTjmwk5xPNhjgAMu4HDHigtobu1s (which is a binance wallet).

This isnt a cold wallet and with that amounts of bitcoin alone.I dont see you do need to build a cheap looking gambling site.  :D

A signature from the address that you claim to be in control of would be even better than a simple transfer of coins for proving that you own the funds that you say you have. It's much more difficult for someone that doesn't hold the funds he/she claims to sign a message from the wallet in question. I understand it may be a bit difficult and might take some time to sign a message, but there shouldn't be any further question of proof of funds after this.

The prizes are big, and I wonder how many people will come and play the game since the first winner gets 5 btc. I hope that you can cover the cost of maintaining the website and the prizes. The prizes are indeed so big for a starting promotion but obviously it is not worth enough. I do not even understand how they decided the winners, is it only how many active referrals or how much are wagered by the referrals. Talking about referral contest, it is easy to be abused by self-referring but I hope it will be a fair contest. Means that the site has a good system to detect self-referring user although I'm a bit doubt about it since their site looks just like a cheap site.

and paying 10 bitcoins to people who can bring 100 or so affiliates is nonsense ,imho
and how on earth can you check if the guy is not self-referring just to get the prize?
the answer is obvious- no prizes are planned to be paid out
so the model here is: lure players with a big monthly contest
collect whatever fees they bring , disappear?

if you want to stop this sort of insinuation - post proof of funds
either sign a message from the wallet (impossible with the exchange wallet) or move , lets say 0.56789 bitcoins from it and post the tx id in the topic

Also, I recommend you just store the BTC in a cold wallet. And then you only need to sign a message from the address to show that you own it, no need to show hot wallet.

Better still, use a respected forum escrow to hold the funds and start the thread. Then I GUARANTEE you will get people to play.

Simple, the reason why many people focusing on the 10btc contest. It is because they are a new which looks like a cheap-build site but offering such huge prizes for a contest that not worth the amount of the prize. It is also not clear contest where there is clear rules of the contest, it has no deadline as well. Not surprising if many people feel something fishy on the contest IMO.

the prize is 10 bitcoins
and the prize  is outlandishly huge for a new site, it is simply unheard of to be offering 40.000$ to bring in some refs to the site
either the promotion manager is a bit ...lets say not in the loop, or it is a plain scam to lure players in
with no desire to be paying the money, either way this site and the project itrself is not even worth 1 btc to create and promote imho
this sort of pvp games are bound to fail since there is a huge chunk of failed projects somewhere down the gambling section already to prove it

How about allocate a small portion for giveaway at least 5k - 10k satoshi to try out your gambling site. A simple giveaway might entice a few potential players to join and play your game. By the way, I do agree also that  prize of the contest for referral is a waste.

I've to agree with the rest. A fairly new site giving away 36 grand worth of BTC is pretty sketchy.

A cheap site, a boring game, huge contest rewards - something is definitely wrong here, though not necessarily a scam project as such. Did anyone ask themselves that the people behind it may be laundering stolen coins? If anyone remembers, there was a site a few years ago (forgot its name though), which actually paid out like 1 euro worth in Dogecoin per day for "mining" doges on your desktop computer (nothing was mined, obviously), while in reality the fellas were just laundering stolen doges from the Moolah online wallet

As far as I can tell, PvP games are not very popular overall

Unless we are talking about such games as chess and go, of course, or where strong financial motives are involved like in poker (but this is not the case here obviously). I'd seen enough efforts in the past aiming at creating incentives to play PvP-based games but most of them (if not all) fell flat on their face and ended with nothing

And mostly for two reasons. First, you can't beat already existing playing rooms for popular games like the ones mentioned above as competition is extremely tough. Second, inventing a new game that would make people head over heels fall for it looks like even a tougher task (if not to say daunting) - a task which is easier said than done

Yes, this is indeed true thing. From the start PvP based games sure is very boring and bring nothing as well, the platform that bring these things back is the one get money easily because every games there is always a sure fee that it takes so it is like solid money as long as there is a play there. Besides you reasons there, I can say that people do not have that much time to wait for others to place the bet as well, so people still go for an easy gambling games with house as their enemy to beat

At least they have attracted some players with that promotion, I do believe the reason why there were some players is exactly related to the huge prize of the promotion.
