Title: Trust Feedback Suggestion @theymos
Post by: Hhampuz on January 09, 2019, 11:54:59 PM
Sometimes when I want to change a positive to a neutral/negative or vice versa I have to go on to the specific profile, look up the feedback I've left and then delete it to add something new.

Would it be possible to give this an "edit" button instead? Also, would it be possible to make it so that I can go to my trust page, look at feedback I've left and then from there remove/edit a feedback? Would make things much easier for me and probably a few others (Or perhaps I'm alone with this issue).

If something like this already exists and I'm just blind and or stupid feel free to point it out to me.

Liking the new DT system and that is why I bring this up now as it seems that you've taken some time to actually work on these things, theymos.

Yeah I was wondering this as well, it would be handy and make us more apt to keep things up to date. Thanks as well Theymos.

Agree dude. Given you 50 merits as you are so close to the 1k, anyone calling me out on that can fuck off. Your input into the forum justifies me giving you 50 every month if I so chose

Once edited, it should be labeled as "Last Edited [insertDateHere]" like posting features so people will know.

[EDIT] Btw congrats you're a legendary now :D

Agreed! Might be a bit overkill but with the recent changes to DT and it getting more fluid now, but I'd honestly just want to simplify it.

Sounds like it would make it easier to manipulate historical actions. I can’t see how any honest member would find this to be a step forward.

It would mainly be when I've left a negative trust for whatever reason and then after a while I see the user has taken steps to redeem themselves and I'd like to change it to a neutral. If this user as a lot of feedback it can be annoying to find mine in there.

It's nothing of big importance and not something that I would say is urgent. I just think it would simplify things a bit.

How bout making it where it shows when you edited that specific feedback, like I left the feedback at 9:30 pm, and I edited it at 10:30 pm it would say + ( the date )

Congrats @Hhampuz, seems you became legendary today. I was thought like you and agree with you. Sometimes need to change feedback by depend on situations. But since I am not on DT list I didn't bother to make post about it. It would be better if we can edit feedback from our trust profile. So don't need to other user profile and delete feedback and make new feedback.

Edited time stamp appropriate with feedback comment, like
Quote
Last updated on: Date(dd-mm-yyyy) - Time( HH-mm-ss )

If it is possible, better not to delete the previous one as per theymos. You can add a new one. Whatever, it would be better to have an edit option.
- Older ratings count for more, so don't delete old ratings if you can avoid it.

Congrats @Hhampuz, seems you became legendary today.
Hhampuz is quite luckier than some other members since some people don't get their Legendary status at 1022 activity too (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=207821).
Congrats Hhampuz.
