Title: Cannabis and Cryptocurrency. Which one?
Post by: CannCo on January 10, 2019, 02:20:56 PM
Both crypto and cannabis are brand-new industries. The infrastructure for both is almost nonexistent from every possible angle. In fact, neither enjoy completely legal status across the entire United States. Cannabis is currently only legal on a state-by-state basis, while the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has a hands-off policy with regards to cryptocurrency exchanges.
The total supply of CannabisCoin is 91,859,176 CANN tokens. During its launch in 2014, dispensaries sold one gram of weed for one CANN coin. Currently, one CANN coin is worth just over $0.01 USD.CannabisCoin aims to make both cryptocurrency and marijuana more socially acceptable.

Have any thoughts on this?

It is really cool that more and more states are legalizing Medical Marijuana (https://www.zenabis.com/) and recreational Weed too. It will be a huge market full of opportunities very soon!

CBD is a non-psychoactive compound taken from cannabis and hemp; it does not produce the high that regular marijuana does. To date, the FDA has only approved CBD for treating rare and severe forms of seizure, although it is promoted for many other health benefits.

Speaking at the Cannabis Europa Conference, Joseph Muscat yesterday fleshed out the intrinsic value that Malta holds in the Cannabis industry. The subject matter came about in light of Muscat’s action plan to make the Cannabis venture yet another success story in Malta’s portfolio.
