I don't have any particular requirements, but if the vid's to my liking, I'll add in 10-25 Merit as well. Possibly 50 if it's really damn good.

Obviously, going to need some proof the vid was made by the poster as well (e.g. mentioning a Bitcointalk username at the start or end of the vid).

This is cloming off slower than expected, I'm now anticipating masterpieces.

I think there's two ideas on the go now anyway. One with jet Cash and one of general meta.

I'm already done making the video, its just a simple shit though, currently converting it then upload it to Youtube.

Skimmed through it. No offense but it ain't great. I went in with low expectations yet I'm still somewhat disappointed. Maybe I just have ultra-high standards, but the mic quality, the ad at the start and the lack of engaging comedy / interesting content is really jarring.

Haha. It's a northern English accent actually but it may as well be anything ;D. It's at least better than the Southerners - they talk too slowly.

North Wales have good accents, south Wales it just a Welsh and English accent hybrid that doesn't seem to sound as good.

I'm a snobby bastard, so I'm not to good with regional accents. I don't even understand some of them. Somerset for example, what ever started them with phrases such as "wurz it to".

I'm rude about the upper crust wha-whas as well.

My other issue with Southerners is the word lush. No one should be allowed to say that word. I have no idea why I hate it it just annoys me too much ;D.

A lot of Welsh people who learnt it as a second language seem to have given up on leaning word order and so the native English speakers here have taken to it too which just makes everything confusing... Reading English that's badly written is much easier than having someone use English with an English style accent and not understanding what they're saying ;D.

I think that is a teen thing. They seem to adopt words like "radical" and "lush" for a while, and then they go out of fashion. Still I think that is better than the "f" and "c" words the 10 year old and up kids are using. The other phrase that jars is "Oh my God!" the sub-teens seem to use that all the time, especially when they are on the tablets.

Yeah they're all annoying. Unless the term radical is used in reference to chemisty and in the right context ;D.

It's more annoying when kids that age swear at you with no idea for what the word actually means. I suspect the 10 year olds pick it up from their parents...the same with "oh my ..."

You can try white-pad board video and randomly writing for the all text smoothly slide show, and use good sound, but thank for trying something.

I'm partial to text-to-speech since I've been watching a lot of vids that incorporate it into their comedy. What killed your vid was the mic quality and the ad at the start - remove that and the vid is nearly up to par with the one I merited. Your free to try again, though after the first "ehh, I guess it's something" entry, I'm gonna be much more picky when deciding whether I should Merit it.

I've seen some really funny cartoon-type, self-written parodies on youtube using the text-to-speech and I wouldn't be disappointed if someone made a very good one.  That actually might be a better idea than a live action one IMO.  There's got to be software that allows you to make one, because I've seen a few made by different people--not sure what the name is.  I had one video that I liked, but now I can't find it.  It had to do with ER nurses vs. critical care nurses and it was funny as all hell.

Someone please wake me up when it's time to cough up the merits for a video.  As I said, I'll be happy to be generous as long as it's funny and well-made.

I have a lot of advanced text to speech software, I'd do it but the software is about £2000 with non commercial licenses, I didn't bother with the commercial one as you can tell and there's a lot of copyright involved...

I know of a few open source ones though... Maybe I'll waste my time at some point and find one of the as threads...

Yes, for editing audios but not for voice overs. I already tried it before especially removing the background noise but it doesn't seem to give me the best quality. And yet, I still prefer Vegas Pro for editing Videos as well as Audios. The only thing is it's not for free. Unless you download it with the use of torrent.

I never thought that there was a bigger issue behind this bounty. I'm trying to read everything and there was an extortion happening back then in the old days and still talking this 2019. I knew that there is/was many scam incident with bitcoin but I never thought that extortion could happen with forums (I only back read few articles so if extortion never please disregard my comment).
