What's the basic difference between V.SYSTEM and VEE.TECH？
Just another same coin?

Have known V SYSTEMS for long, and the previous name is VEE.


Just in case anyone is cheated, I am going to tell you it is like a scam.



They cheated quite a lot during fund raising, and by this, they raised $160 million.

1. They said they worked for it over 2 years, and in fact they didn't have any code at all!


When they were raising fund during Feb 2018, they said they had worked on it for over 2 years.
In fact, their first code was forked from waves on March 2018.

2. They just played a little code the time they claimed to be listed.


When they raise fund during Feb 2018, they said they would list coin be listed late Apr 2018.
In fact, they just tried waves code a little, and even unfamiliar with it at the time.
They started to submit some useful code after late July 2018.

3. Leasing can't be used at all for now, cause they have no smart contract at all now.



4. Their supernodes were not elected, but selected! Even much more centralised then EOS.



5. They made investors feel like it's hype and should invest ASAP during Feb 2018. And in fact they were still raising money late Sep 2018.



6. They privately promised they will buyback if the exchange price is lower than private price, in fact they failed to do that.


Their scam was revealed little by little when they failed to show code, to be listed, some investors asked to refund, they asked investors to calm down and promised to buyback at private sale price if the price drops lower than private price. In fact they are now hiding and escaping it.
The private price was 1000 Satoshi, around 0.09USD, and
the price is about 800 Satoshi, around 0.028USD now.

7. They are so much familiar to tell lies to cheat your money, KEEP AWAY FROM it.

Regarding the fork from Waves, we did use some basic infrastructure from Scorex and Waves to speed up development, like nodes design, communication among nodes and leasing features. In our opinion, one doesn't have to re-invent the wheel every time. Having said that, our goal and vision are completely different. Our first release has implemented our new consensus mechanism called Supernode Proof of Stake, a.k.a. SPoS with future plans to build a general-purpose blockchain database in which data and information can be represented in a descriptive manner while preserving integrity. This allows for faster development and adoption of blockchain powered applications. SPoS addresses the issue of scalability for wider adoption. Regarding coin listing, we will have a big announcement late tomorrow. Stay tuned!

As for the coin leasing part, as mentioned in our whitepaper, we are actually adopting a technology called "cold minting". Even when a coin is leased to a supernode, the ownership DOES NOT transfer to the supernode, and it remains with the coin owner. Coin owner has the right to withdraw from the lease at any moment. One of the reasons why VEE was rebranded is that the project has moved from the infrastructure stage to a much wider scale. Using SPoS, VEE has given blockchain a stable and scalable infrastructure layer. The mainnet is running great, all data are showing very high TPS and block generation rate.

And now Sunny King’s vision is going bigger. With the base infrastructure running smoothly, it’s now the time to bring side chains and DApps onto the platform (and hence the word “SYSTEMS”, as they are all different systems running on the platform). This is also why database, cloud platform, smart contract, privacy layer, enterprise DApps, zero knowledge etc. are all key updates in our roadmap for 2019 and 2020.

Listing VSYS Coins on three top exchanges including Bitfinex and KuCoin sends a strong signal to the crypto community and the wider blockchain world that we are serious about our commitment to the project and are moving forward with key iterations of our model. VSYS Coins' supernodes are elected among coin holders. Similar to mining pools for Bitcoin, the role of supernodes is to take on the heavy lifting of the mining work (in V SYSTEMS' case, minting instead of mining). In Bitcoin's case, the true benefits go to the miners; and in our case, the coin owners. The majority of supernode minting reward in V SYSTEMS is given to coin owners who leased their coins to supernodes for minting. Sunny King designed this logic to better align with Satoshi's initial vision of giving mining/minting rights to actual coin owners. I have V Systems project on my radar from some time and keep close attention to development and announcements. It is surprising that there are no high-rank members here taking into consideration how good VSYS is doing. Would be great to hear opinions from other Bitcointalk members, especially high ranked and more established.

Times changed even on Bitcointalk because a couple of years ago such a thread would have a lot of attention, especially if the project is doing quite well when others not. It is surprising to see only short comments from newbies. Too many short comments from new accounts look like a bumping service and bring questions about the real state of the project.

Keep wondering why there is no discussion in this thread? Is this the main V System project thread? Or maybe there is another channel where the V Systems community is more active?

I don't think Peercoin is dead at all. That project has a certain purpose that it fulfills. Feel free to get into that community's telegram chats and discord chats, feel free to engage in the active conversations of development work and so on. But I'll leave you to discover all that on your own. I am not saying that it has no flaws, it is certainly no Ethereum.

However, this thread is for Vsys so let's refocus our attention to this project and not that one. Different, team, different direction, and different tech stack. Different roadmap and direction.

I think for now they are focusing on development and it's unlikely that they will launch an airdrop or bounty campaign. What I like about this project is that they always write weekly reports so the community is aware of the development of V Systems.

It is sad to see Vsys slip from the top 40 rank to 160 in the space of a year. I understand that the team is doing a good job of regularly updating the project. But they need to push for more. They are a DeFi project and looking at the crypto market and we can pretty much say that defi projects are killing it right now.

if you ask me, Sunny king created the PoS system and the SPoS system, yet other projects have benefitted by adopting the PoS system and capitalizing the market. Whether Vsystems will do the same or not, I don't know. I just hope they promote themselves hard enough so that people get to know about them. I think many crypto users don't even know who Sunny is or what his projects are.

We are concerned with the development of the project's features at the moment. We already have a few partnerships signed on and are actively working with these partners to get their tokens publicly available soon. However, these partners' products are liable for regulatory checks by the governments where our partners originate from and since these things take time, progress will be slow on that front.

Beyond that, our engineers are working dedicatedly and pushing updates every week, admittedly the covid did slow us down a bit which has forced us to update our roadmap. Take a look.

We believe, once our current year's goals are achieved, we can begin focusing on oboarding more ecosystem projects, which will fundamentally propel our coin prices and coin rank higher up than what it is right now. This isn't something that can be neglected with hype marketing that many other projects do.

VSYS Supernode Community Vote


In order to further encourage community engagement and enhance consensus, today V Systems is excited to introduce VSYS Supernode Community Vote. Any supernode operators can contribute to V Systems’ technical, content or community efforts through this campaign and get rewarded. Special Announcement

Our up-coming iteration of our VSYS 3 will be named after Riemann. This iteration will bring several innovative DeFi smart contracts we’ve been working on, including atomic swap, swap, option, stable swap, escrow, and will further enhance the foundation of VSYS DeFi ecosystem. We also aim to polish UI/UX and user experiences.

Now 1BTC = 60,000,000 VSYS in 2024


and Sunnyking is a rat hiding in the sewers, and he has no understanding of blockchain technology. It's just a scam.
The junk VSYS chain issues 770,000 more per day, but only 50 on-chain transactions are burned every day.
Fraudsters keep selling the extra shitcoins and hiring a few graduates every year to keep the scam going.
