We believe a coin needs to be released in a fair manner. There no pre-mine of VeryLiteCoin, not even a single block, and no IPO/ICO. A hard fork of existing blockchain is the most fair and efficient method of creating and distributing Digital Asset. Total value: 60,000,000 VLC The fork will provide a 1:1 ratio of VeryLiteCoin(“VLC”) to all holders of LiteCoin ("LTC") when reach 60,000,000 mined LTC.

Masternodes
The issuing of masternodes will occur in several stages.

We invite everyone to actively participate in our open community project development. The first stage is “contributors only”. To participate as a masternode then, a user will need to make an contribute the project.

The second stage is “invite only”. Unlike other coins where you setup masternode and start mining right away; in order to join the VeryLiteCoin masternode network existing masternode owners has to invite you first. This model is designed to promote a healthy community.

The final stage will be open for all individuals in automatic mode, with the condition that they meet the requirements of VeryLiteCoin.

Once the masternode registration period has concluded, we will announce full details of the Proof of Distributed Computing with masternodes algorithm that will power VeryLiteCoin and control its masternodes.

The thought behind mining is that a blockchain is supported by a significant number (>51%) of individuals  to agree and contribute to the network and security. Every accepted VeryLiteCoin team member can participate in the security and overall network stability by their masternodes, for which they get rewarded. The reward is the transaction fee.

You will be able to participate first hand in improving our product. We will begin our alpha test of VeryLiteCoin wallets in next weeks. We would like to invite some volunteers from our community. Stay tuned for updates.

Masternodes ( = miners) take 60% of the mining reward each. The remaining 40% portion of the network rewards to furthering the ecosystem.

Link is correct but the code is under development.

No POW. PoW obviously is costly in electricity and equipment and centralization seems to occur in around 5-10 of the big mining companies.

Blockchain consensus protocols allow a decentralized network to arrive at an agreement about the state of the blockchain. There are different ones for different types of blockchains and each has its pros and cons. VeryLiteCoin algorithm will be Proof of Distributed Computing with masternodes. The right consensus algorithm is a key decision. Two key problems of PoW is:  Vulnerable to a “51% attack. Energy consumption. This is the reason why declined the POW algo.

What will be the use of this coin? I mean where it will be used?  After the fork, there will be 24000000 coins balance to be mined. Can users mine this coin  using a normal computer?Also  When this is going to hit the exchange?

We copy and anonymise all coins from LiteCoin network. That means that your VeryLiteCoin wallet will be far more effective in preserving privacy. We found 794 779 addresses with more or equal 1 LTC ( sum is 59 801 557  ) These coins will be available for users. This is the distribution step. There are a total of 60 million VeryLiteCoin and there will never be more. No classical mining reward. What happens when Bitcoin( and all other clones) mining rewards diminish to zero? The transaction fees will rise up enough to compensate them or the network will be insecure because the most of miners leave that ? We will test this scenario. Will be another 24 million coins balance to be mined ? No.

Exchange ? Most of clone coins from script kiddies trying to get rich on pump and dump schemes. Most altcoins will likely lose value over the long run. So many shitcoins, which nobody cares about anymore. The ICO model is one where developers get paid for an idea before even putting in the work. Litecoin is one good example of the earliest cryptocurrencies and was considered the silver to bitcoin’s gold. The LTC markets were correlated to bitcoin and managed to increase 3400% during the bubble of 2013. Since that time litecoin has lost 90% of its dollar value. Overall, altcoins tend to be better markets to trade than to invest in. Traders who lock in profit while they’re ahead can produce much nicer returns than those who buy and hold. We want change this. We have realy long term plans.
