If ethereum is not available in this crypto world..
People gonna still using bitcoin to do online transactions as their main crypto funds..
The investor could not get easily scammed by those scammers who create their tokens on the ethereum smart contract..
Most of the ICO gonna using the traditional method to fund their project like paypal, skrill, bitcoin, and other major crypto..
There will be no massive dump and bearish moment from the ICO who use ethereum platform and do many transactions on their smart contract which make ethereum blockchain overclogged and make ethereum dumped because they were cashing out the ICO funds..

if ethereum is not available in crypto, the ico project will not be as much as it is now and it will be very difficult to make a pairing project only to BTC, from most project platforms, Ethereum is the most used by everyone, so keep grateful for the ethereum.

I agree with Your idea, for me Ethereum is also a super successful, promising and popular platform. But even if for a moment to imagine that this platform does not exist, it is likely that he would have had a replacement among the other violas, which so strongly mark the place of Ethereum.

Not sure about that and even ethereum is alive and there was a bunch of dramas in bitcoin and the altcoin has been decreasing because these politicians are creating their own alternative cryptocurrency. If there was no ethereum and there will be a big battle in the bitcoin.

The ethereuem smart contract is the bases for all the altcoins because there will not be ICOs without ethereuem and the cryptocurrency network will be one face just bitcoin and it will be very hard for any new development. Ehtereum house 80% of the cryptocurrency network because of this ethereuem suffer a lot die to the operations of those other coins.

I am against your opinion, as I can say, ethereum is not that bad to create a massive decline in the market. Well, the users of smartcontracts should be those reliable in the damage that they've created in the market.

Your point is valid. If Ethereum wasn't there, the number of ICOs would have reduced but trust me, it's necessary for ETH to exist in this space. ETH foundation didn't make their platform open source for scammers to create tokens masked in a fake project, but to make it easier for developers to create their own tokens on ETH network thereby ensuring easy distribution and allowing them concentrate on the project development after getting funding.

unfortunately eth was created and made the world of crypto more revolutionary. so is the EOS and waves and all other platforms like Lisk, komodo and all. as all other will be used, it may not matter in the end for there will be another that will be created like TRON. its best to just invest to them all and but of course get more BTC.

If there is no Ethereum in the crypto world, I'm sure that besides Bitcoin, there will be other cryptocurrencies that are trusted enough to be transaction and payment method. Ethereum is just one of the altcoins, but this is the most trusted. There are also some coins that are used for payment such as EOS, NEO, Litecoin, and also Ripple.

You need to know, bitcoin is there to become a media for storing wealth. You could say this bitcoin is digital gold which is a currency that can be adopted globally. Whereas for ethereum, is a platform used by smart contracts for decentralization and cannot be used as a benchmark of value.

For me, eth have been so good and it became more popular as time comes because eth is trusted and liked by almost all investors. Eth increased the amount of icos that keep coming in the market. Bitcoin started it all and eth later on made an impact in the market with only bitcoin being dominant in it.

Ethereum has a considerable contribution to the market, the transaction is fast and very low fee and those people who are new in the industry are attracted to this cryptocurrency because they have maintained their low fee and fast transactions compare to Bitcoin.

Not just ethereum but other coins that aren't created on its platform. But it's a fact that if there's only one coin to support and that is worth noting for bitcoin. But that's competition and it's everywhere as long as there's a market that investors and developers that can dive to and experiment. Luckily, there are quite few that became successful but most now doesn't really have that the same result that the first ones have met and reached.

As long as we have people who gonna invest on something without knowing about it,there will be scammers who are ready to scam them so don't blame the scammers if the people are ready to be scam.If ethereum not available scammers may use other blockchain based coin or token to scam people.

As a hardcore Ethereum fan, I have to point out that without Ethereum, Cryptocurrencies might still be well behind the times because there would be nothing like the existence of smart contracts which we can all agree is very revolutionary.

I think that the market will continue to live even if there are no other than Bitcoin. But don't underestimate Ethereum so much. It is a really great and useful platform. SCAM projects don't make Ethereum worthless.

that's not true, ICO will still there but using different platform like WAVES for example.
it's not ETH fault to begin with, so why did you put the blame in it. and there's gonna be upgrade on ETH network in the near future that will improves scalability and reduces costs and hassle for users.
we should be grateful because of ETH smart contract many token was born and it add many new investor in crypto world, because of ICO project there will be always a fresh investor that increase crypto market cap.

if ethereum doesn't exist there will still be a platform that has the same function as ethereum. people will always look for opportunities, and smartcontrac is a very good concept. if the blockchain is growing rapidly it is not normal if it is a platform that makes it easier for companies to integrate with Blockchian rather than creating a new blockchain network.

I agree with you, because scammers would not be if all people were willing to first think what they want to invest and only after sending money.  The problem is not Ethereum!

no ethereum does not mean crypto will be better. many quality projects that are in the ethereum network. and if ethereum doesn't exist, there will still be another smartcontrac platform released. ethereum is only a pioneer project of this concept. don't blame ethereum because of this fall, it's not very wise. all of this exists because there are too many developments without real adoption. the market is still vulnerable and immature, so it's wise to see everything that exists.

Without ethereum, the crypto market will not be as diverse as now. You seem to be blaming ethereum because the market is getting worse.

As per recent survey, most altcoins and ICOs are confusing new investors and leading them to get scammed eventually in the end. If ethereum was not introduced then probably bitcoin might be valuing above $20k levels right now. Ethereum is a heavily pumped crypto after BCH.

But, I believe ethereum had invented a new platform for easy portal for ICOs but at the same times, easy portal leads to more scams which resulting into negative impact for entire crypto world.

It always about cycles, there is no matter if ethereum (or some another platform) exists of not. Just take a look at BTC chart before 2015 - there always was bubble-like behavior - huge surge, 70-90% correction, repeat. So I think that there is no point to make ethereum guilty for everything that happens on the market now.

Without the birth of Ethereum, there would be no big bull market in 2017. So in fact more people will not know the cryptocurrency. The success of Ethereum has greatly promoted the popularity of cryptocurrencies around the world.

If Ethereum is not  available in the world, People will use other platform for example, like XLM or EOS and so on. Provided they can set up tokens on another platform. But now Ethereum is still there and people are more select platform eth than any other platform.

if that happens of course everyone will switch to bitcoin or altcoin investments which they think has the potential. the presence of ethereum provides a lot of convenience both for long-term investments or platforms used for the development of ico.

We cannot tell what exactly is going to happen, these are all assumptions, maybe there will still ICO but we cannot prevent scammers because creating a coin now is not that hard and if we don't have Ethereum, we still have Waves and Neo for developers to launch their ICO, the scenario will not be very different.

fraud can occur even though ethereum doesn't exist. although there is no ethereum, they can commit fraud with btc, xrp, PayPal and others.

Many different platforms, in which ETH is still preferred by investors because everything is handled very quickly and very conveniently in any field. I think in the future we will have more options and new coins will be able to directly compete with ETH in the future.

I think we need ETH. If it didn't exist then something else would replace it. Smart contracts are one of the key use cases for crypto. If crypto became purely a store of value then it would lose a lot of its selling point.

I have never even imagined crypto without Ethereum. Maybe it will be quiet or not like now, but maybe it's one of the goals of ethereum created to balance the world of cryptocurrency. And the nickname of the king of ICO will never exist. Thank you to Ethereum for giving us many benefits.

ETH is recognized as a cryptocurrency, which at the moment feels not good. The main reasons for this are the huge sales of ETH by the founders of ICO projects. Because of this, the price is very unstable. But in the future I understand that ETH will be the most solvent cryptocurrency.

Ethereum is a very promising coin that has shown to the cryptocurrency market players  that once, which can stay in the top in volatile conditions.

If ethereum would not exist, a similar coin with such functions of a smart contract would still appear. Maybe a little bit later, but such a coin would exist anyway. Maybe, on the contrary, there would be another coin that would not allow fraudulent ICO projects to appear in such a threatening size. the decline in conditions that exist today are not even completely wrong or evil of the ethereum. even the ethereum has created a major breakthrough and a remarkable achievement on its own platform with crypto. without it, there would not be even up to this moment of crypto where many great projects have sprung up. Ethereum is the platform for most of the altcoins. The project uses the Ethereum contract to save most of the time for independent development, and it also breeds too many scam projects.

I agree with you and I am sure that Ethereum will live forever but there are other platforms for creating tokens such as TRX-10 or NEO, Waves.

Ethereum brought the idea of ICO to limelight and went ahead to give it legitimacy, then most ICOs always wait for months if not years before then launch their tokens but with Ethereum, it makes this as simple as ABC and scams flood the space and projects with nothing to offer was able to ride on this hype and robb people of their investments

If it were not for Ethereum, some revolutionary leader would come to the market, taking the idea of Ethereum as a basis for the necessary scenario of the development of the cryptoindustry. But it is difficult to assume that everything would turn out just as efficiently, and maybe even better.

I think you shouldn't blame ethereum, but you should thank ethereum because a lot of ico are using etherum smart contracts so you can make a profit, and for the ico scam problem you have to spend your time choosing good ico.

You have a solid point there,I wish Ethereum is like tron that deals with scammers running on there blockchain ,erc20 smart contract is now the most used for fake and scamming projects ,I hope something cn be done about this someday ,its making cryptocurrency looks like scam to newbies and new investors

Ethereum is the best altcoin that exists and I have no doubts that this coin is going to show amazing price increase at the end of February when the devs will finally release Ethereum 2.0 update. Then you will see that it is the most undervalued token.

people are very lazy and they don’t want to waste time even learning a white paper. they just want to make money fast that's why they lose their money
