A new address is generated for privacy purposes only. We shouldn't run out of addresses as there are 2^256 or 115792089237316195423570985008687907852837564279074904382605163141518161494335 addresses that can possibly exist (it's actually a little lower but I'll just keep it simple at this point). Post by: Harlot on January 19, 2019, 08:24:19 PM You are probably wondering why your wallet has generated a new wallet address that is why you are having some kind of worry but it is normal and even if they gave you a new wallet address the BTC will still be sent to the wallet you are currently being use. Also you can still use the old address you are using as it won't be dead as it will still be connected to your address.
