My first assumption would be to just sell merchandise. But, are there any other ideas like selling services or something else? I'm looking for ideas outside of the box. Thank you!

The problem isn't merchandise vs services; the problem is mostly on what certain product/service you're going to sell.

And it has to be totally your own idea,there are a lot of them today,so for you to generate any sort of revenue your product,ad or service has to be one that is appealing to users over the internet. As there are so many people out there who do not want to show there goods purchases in accounting and thus, they prefer crypto. If we start counting the reason there are many. People across the globe can buy your products by just a transfer. You can build an e-commerce site, make it user friendly and enjoyable to use, so that there will be enough users that access your platform. After that you can start accepting paid ads, or something similar like priority listing. So the problem is actually what kind of platform you're going to build. If you can't make a good one, it is quite possible you won't have enough users and therefore there won't be enough traffics for ads.
