Title: Unforgettable Gambling Stories...
Post by: cabalism13 on January 16, 2019, 05:54:21 PM
As what the subject says, lets have a new discussion here (Well maybe not)
So let me start first:

This isn't actually mine but my friend's story and I was just a chaperone that time. We're on this gambling game called "Guessing Game" (Three caps and one penny) which you can mostly see on carnivals. We have seen this game with a big crowd of people betting on every cap that they seem to be their lucky bet.

And because of the winning pots, my friend has been demonically lured into it. We noticed that there something wrong with the shuffler, he's dynamically cheating. My friend took a bet on it and we're sure where it resides, but the shuffler talked to him and during that time he shuffled again as fast as he can without us noticing it. And of course, we lost that game. Can't even tell the cheating thing publicly for we didnt have the evidence.

And after that, we didn't play any games at the carnival until now. We just enjoyed the seats, rides and foods.

What's yours?

First time we saw dog races at the local betting shop, me and a couple of friends made a deal to bet on every single dog and one was bound to win and make us some money. Well this was many years ago, I was quite naive and in reality it didn't go the way we were hoping.

My most unforgettable experience in gambling was when I was naive and had the impression that I could win any bet If I play on the safest odds, I used some money (about 30%) from what was meant to be my school fees on a 3-matches accumulated odds of ~1.80 unfortunately I lost, I was sad and disappointed but, not as much as I was in a struggle on how to get the money back without my parents knowledge or exceeding the deadline given by the school for the fees to be paid. I made up my mind to go in with another 30% but this time around on an accumulated odds of ~ 2.00 to recover my initial loss, but a few hours to when I decided I was going to deposit and place the bet, I got an offer of a miscellaneous job that offered about the same amount I needed and a little extra change, I had a change of heart, I completed the job though very stressful and decided to pay my school fees and use the change I'm left with to place the bet, which turned out to be another loss, but damn! I was so happy, not because I lost again, but because I wondered what situation I could have gotten myself into.

Is this similar to 3 card monte? Wherein you are being cheated right in front of you but you don't know what those guys are doing it? I have a lot of gambling stories, but I would share what happened years ago when I was playing in a landbased casino, was almost out of f*** money, I lost big, and I can't control myself because I'm chasing my losses. Just about to lose everything until I hit my last spin with a huge windfall and was able to recover all my loses and my money went from 0 to $4K. Went hope very happy then.

I miss my childhood because of this, I always play card games with my friends before with a small money involve but of course this is not a serious game we just want to have fun that time and play late night until the sun rise, this is a great memories that I have when it comes to gambling. I also have the scariest gambling experience, when I tried to continue playing without knowing I don't have enough funds to use but luckily I have my friend to save me from that situation, and its really embarrassing.

I had once made almost $500 by playing poker here in my local casino (Not exactly, we used to call it casino) but I remember I have lost everything within last 1 hour. From that day, I promised not to gamble continuously. When I won almost $500, it was a big deal for me.

I remember my first carnival too. It was crowded and loud. All people wanted to bet and all the money were mixed. All it takes is honesty. And theres this girl who always get the winning bet even though its not the place she bets. The older man get angry and said that she saw the girl stole twice. If the girl steel again for the third time, he will punch her face. Ha ! Ridiculous people. This is what fun means though.

Well, I have also my bad experience in carnival but I’ve already forgot the exact story so I’ll share a different one which I think is good to be share. I tried to gamble with my friends before, and he’s a newbie in casinos like he look amazed by the lighting around the casinos and the machines  and when we play he won his first profit in gambling and I’m shock that time because he shout inside the casinos and everyone are looking at him, that time I’m quiet embarrassed but it makes me happy because I remember how happy I am when I got my first profit too.

I really don't know what to share in terms of carnival experience but I love to bet on color games, when I was a little kid. I was fascinated by this game and try to learn how to beat the odds at a young age.

I Will ask anyone from the house for money and they I will slowly get out and go and place my bet and have some fun with friends and try every strategy I can think of. Ended up losing all the time, but there was one time I won big and treat my friends, it was one of most unforgettable experience for me as a kid.

My story is when I invested into fixedodd with borrowed money of around $1000 and in week I lose all. Since then I have abandoned gambling and only look at what others are doing in gambling industry. I have to pay back the borrowing money with pain.

One of my friend is very good at playing the poker and lucky hand too so I gave money to him for the bets to play instead of me,but he lost the game and all my money gone.Which taught me a lesson that day was don't trust anybody.

I'll tell 3 stories.

First a good one from when I was a kid.

One summer a "traveling carnival" came to my city. They've also had a slot machine.
I've studied it for maybe a week. Then, when I basically figured it out, I started playing. I had my strategy and I've got some winnings every day. Of course, the winnings were always spent at the electric cars in the same place :) , but it was a great summer that one.

Now a bad one from my 1st year as a student.

I've first seen the "alba-neagra" game. I don't know how to translate the name. It's a clear scam. It's a game with 3 cups and a small object. It may be the game OP wrote about.
The "owner" gang always wins, that's how they spread out the money between them. The object/penny sometimes is in one of the 3 shuffled cups, sometimes is even out.
It's a game you can't win. I've lost my money I've got from my parents for an entire month. I didn't get other money that month and it was quite a tough lesson.

And the last one, on a happier note.

I already had my first job. Then I knew what's gambling about: spend nicely some time.
I had to wait for a train about 1-2h. No smartphone to read/surf back then. So I've put some money into one of those poker machines. It was fun. I didn't feel the time flying. At the end, when they've announced my train, I asked to withdraw. I had exactly the initial amount of money there :)

I don't really have any spectacular gambling stories to tell, just some basic wins and losses in fairly small amounts.  I do like reading about lottery winners and other people that hit it big.  I find their experiences fascinating and how a lot of them end up going broke very quickly.  Many of them even say winning the lottery was the worst thing to happen to them.

The first and unforgettable story of gambling in my life was when I was new to my first job. At that time the salary that I received was less than 70$, because I was still a new person there, but because of that environment there were many which play gambling on a soccer bookie, so I decided to get money quickly and easily, then I started to play there and in short, finally I lost everything until I borrowed money to cover it. It was a long and difficult story for me unforgettable, because that's where the story and my first experience received a lot of money from gambling and lost a lot of money from gambling too.

You know what? There's a trick on it which is the diversion of the attention of the player which means they have to lured your attention to something or lured your eyes into something and then they have to do their tricks. This trick applies also to some pickpocketer but also a skill that you have to master for a couple of years.

Your friend may be lured by their decoy, the one that who has a lot of money on his hands that keep on betting the game and simultaneously wins. But when they got to lured some players already, that decoy will just go out of nowhere and one thing you noticed is that it doesn't bet anymore where there are more people. Of course, you might think that maybe he doesn't like the crowd too much but no it is just their decoy to lure more players.

If you really want to win on that game, just watch his hands and don't divert your eyes to anything or make an eye contact because basically it will distract you for a second and the next thing you know is that he's doing his tricks already and you lost it.

A couple of years ago, I was into playing poker and decided that I wanted to experience a real table tourney once at a casino.
I paid around €50.00 for a buy-in and there were like 10 - 15 tables playing at the same time.

Now, I wasn't a particularly good poker player, I just played for fun. After a couple of hours, I got to the final table and managed to finish 3rd place an won around 1500 euros.

I think it still is my biggest win to date and the experience was amazing.

During the game, I was just sipping cocktails and generally having a good time. Met some really interesting people too.

My unforgettable story was when I managed to turn 17 dollars into 8 bitcoins. It was one of the greatest feelings ever, bitcoin wasn't this high at the time, it was 900 dollars like 2 years ago or so.

At the time I had 17 dollars left in some casino and I thought what the hell not like 17 dollars will change anything in my life so I started gambling with it, turned it into couple hundred dollars with double or nothing type deals at first and than I started doing small amounts but big odds on dice and managed to turn it into 1 bitcoin thanks to 2 great hits at great odds.

After that it was just pure luck of couple different games, played dice, played poker, played plinko and so forth and managed to get lucky and in the end it was 8 bitcoins. Withdrew 5 of it to my account and cashed it out immediately (dunno why but all my profits from gambling I cash out to fiat right away for some reason) and kept 3 bitcoin in the casino, eventually lost that 3 bitcoins but at least I had a 5 bitcoin profit. Best day of my life ever (don't tell my wife that).

If we win the gambling then it will be definitely the unforgettable moment for us because more than lot of people will not get the winning moment mostly so I think the winning moment will be the unforgettable situation for all of us so I also in that case.

It is always special when you win in gambling but provided you are overall positive else it can happen that you are in huge loss and only win couple of times which is like anyway going to happen so one should not be proud during such moments. At the end of year one should be making money overall and not losing it.

I have an interesting story. It was Saturday, I wrote at a party and went to the first casino with $ 120, from dad I did not remember anything alcohol sped me. I would not even know this story that I had no other than myself, because when I woke up in my pocket, I had $ 1,200, money that I did not know from where my friend told me, and in all that I said that I made the whole casino and left workers $ 100, I was incredibly shocked. I've been a roulette with a lot of consciousness many times, and I've never had this kind of gain, maybe I'm damned, so I can only get money without consciousness.

yeah its pretty big and i was shock after i read his story . that seems impossible to win 8 btc in online gambling but its possible if you won it on a live lottery offline  due to the bigger jackpot prize  .

for me my unforgetable story is i won 0.3btc on an unkown gambling site . the game was a kind of hi/lo and dice game .  i was verry happy and excited because that was also the first time that i won alot of btc's  but i eventually find out that it was a scam site   .  my bad   : (

How much you deposited there, did you remember the domain of that site.Make sure others are not going to scammed by that gambling site by creating a thread with the related evidence in the scam accusation section.

That was devastating, if you have family who depend on your during that time, I'm sure you were able to cause a problem to them.
Gambling needs control and you can only do that if you have the discipline within you, supposedly, you only gamble an extra amount that is coming from your salary and not the entire salary, you go all in bro, make sure you learn from it.

I never had an unforgettable gambling story as I have only lost money during my casual gambling sessions.I am somewhat sad as I have heard other casual gamblers success stories and it haven't happened to me. These stories are inspiring for many gamblers so it is a good vibe to read for any gambler.

sometimes experience loss gives a deep memory mark, isnt it ? I also played dice in a gambling site. I have won more than 0.1 btc before but because of the losing streak I started to lose control and used the high amount to bet and in the end I used all in bet and lost. My friend does that with sports betting. He knows how to pick a winning ticket but he simply has to give a part back to the bookies ;D
Once, he won $1.200, and placed $200 on a random match. The bet was that the away team would score the next goal in the remaining time. About 20 mins still left in the match - and he lost.

When I asked him why, he said I had to try.

Haha, your friend is playing smart here :) Im not sure if your friend's site does this, but there's a term called gubbing (https://www.thesurebettor.com/what-is-gubbing/) which is basically restricting the punter's waging limits for winning too much. Simply put, the casino gets butthurt for losing to this player and starts making things difficult.

Match betting is fun, but you've to be patient and do lots of homework on the teams you're betting on.

There are so many stories in this thread, and I can't help myself from laughing on some of these crazy stories :D
I really don't think that these are all true, and if might be, this is actually absurd :P

CSGO? Counter Strike Global Offensive? Am I seeing this right? CSGO has a gambling moment on its existence? I thought it was only a mere game on steam?

Oh yes, that shooter game. CSGO gambling took off since 2013/ 14 until the company decided to "kill off" the skin trading last year. Skins back then costed up to over TEN GRAND due to the rarity. For instance, this rare skin costs up to over $1,000 because its obtained from crates that costs almost $50 at a low probability.

My most unforgettable experience in gambling when i was play card with my co workers during the luch break, it's called pusoy in local games herein my country i lost my 1 week salary quickly at that time i have nothing ideas how to set control.
sometimes experience loss gives a deep memory mark, isnt it ? I also played dice in a gambling site. I have won more than 0.1 btc before but because of the losing streak I started to lose control and used the high amount to bet and in the end I used all in bet and lost. I really remember how sad I was at that time
That's happen with everyone. If you have luck, you will win a big amount within a short time but when you will start to lose, you will lose at a row and use big bet. I played teen patti where i had to buy $0.50 per 10 million of coin. I bought 100 million coin and played very well and made almost 800 million in one day. When I start to lose, I start to play blind for getting big stake but eventually I lost everything.

You are being cheated mate, most of the people that surrounds that game is a part of their crowd to look the gambling reliable, but the truth is those who bets are their member to lure people like you to bet but you eill never get some for sure

Ai am also a victim in my childhood thats why now i am more aware from this cheaters

When I bet the first amount without any idea in the gambling I will get profit and win in the gambling so it is my first gambling experience and also the best moment for me to share with all of us.

Back then when CSGO gambling was still alive, I deposited $400 worth of virtual items, made up to $2,400 and eventually lost it all just to chase a few extra dollars. The tilt back then :(

I remember, it was really cool, but then I knew about all skins and their prices, I gave $ 20 and I got $ 570, I can not forget it.

My first ever bet was on the UCL final in 2014, Real Madrid vs Atletico. I was round my mate's house with a few of my friends and we all decided to make some bets. I placed a bet on Real Madrid to win in extra time and Gareth Bale to score the first goal when play resumed. Luckily enough both happened and I ended up winning a £100 off of a £10 bet. After the game, we all went out and I got some beers for my friends it was a fun night!

Yes we all have the same experience when it come to gambling . that happen when we were a noob because we feel a different kind of excitement when we won but as soon the time passes by we also slowly realize that we arent earning enough in playing a gamble  but the fun and happy moments will still be priceless .

Aggressive betting is not always the right strategy. You may win few times due to this, but if you lose, the loss will be much more as in case of normal betting keeping in view the risk involve. Also note that aggressive betting is also due to greediness to become rich quickly which is of course will not happen most of the times.

The term gambling itself has a separate place in my life. Only after knowing about cryptocurrency and the use of bitcoin into gambling I started to spend some good time into gambling. On some occasion I felt lonely without any job, even after several try I didn't find anything good. By that time my entire focus turned towards sports betting. From which I earned, learned and finally lost entire winning. This gave me a big learning about gambling and cryptocurrency.

That's reality, though that particular incidents might happen to most of us who also loves playing and enjoying types of gambling inside a carnival, there's particular times that the owner or the banker will do their best to cheat and wins against the gamblers, they will do everything to avoid big bets to win though it seems that things are just happen normally but they have their advantages and tricks around.

One of my greatest gambling stories is not really as a gambler myself. Back in the days I put a lot of money in staking poker players. I had a couple players playing for me online where I acted as a backer and sometimes I bought some percentages for live events. 2016 was becoming my year.
I bought 2% of Kenny hallaert WSOP main event action which costed me around 300$ with mark up included. He ended up 6th and cashed almost 1.5 million$ which made me almost 30.000$. So meanwhile I was celebrating I received a message from one of the online players I was backing at a 70/30 cut (so 70% of winnings came to me) he was chipleading the Pokerstars Sunday million. He ended up 2nd with a 2 way deal which made him around 100.000$. So another 70.000$ came into my direction.

Cheating is in all fields of life and not just in gambling. Of course the older experienced gamblers  do tend to cheat the relatively newbie gamblers. That's why we often here that if you want to play gambling first understand it completely so that no one can scam you easily.

Cheating is in all fields of life and not just in gambling.

Yes, indeed. But not all the times you can caught it in the act, and even if you caught it, as long you don't have any camera on sight you can't prove anything. Gambling is the most risky thing to place your money with.

That's why we often hear that if you want to play gambling first understand it completely so that no one can scam you easily.

Exactly, but the fact that people nowadays are easy to fool with money. Even if you teach them or lecture them about these things they wouldnt budge to play the thing. Scam isn't the word, if you'll ask me... Its Fooled. They're continuously being fooled.

The most of the people unforgettable story is most losses happen in their life by using the gambling this will remain unchanged memory in most of the Gamblers mind so I also in that case it is the unforgettable situation for me in gambling field.

That is really unforgettable story mate since you’re always getting free drinks and foods, for sure if i were you missing him will always on my mind also LOL 😂

My unforgettable story is when the time that me and my best friend is starting to learn gambling when we were young that there comes a time when we loss our weekly allowances just because of gambling against our classmates and school mates

But everytime i remember those days gives me motivation to not becoming a gambling addict for i know there is no future ahead of me

Controlling our self from getting in will surely give chances not to fall into gambling addiction. Not really hard if we think it and we know what we are doing, it is our own decision who made it and we can lift it up if we want to.
Many millionaires or billionaires came into gambling just for fun and they never mind if they loss  but for those whoa are in limited resources, they actually wanting to win and that makes their life miserable.

Playing games at carnivals or in similar crowds held by strangers is of course prone to cheating. I often see this and even they consist of a group of people who have their respective duties. And without us knowing it, these people in the game are ready to pounce on our money if we are affected to try it. They have many tricks to cheat us and they sometimes can act like a magician. Don't try to play the game at such places!

Exactly, it's a decision where came from inside us, being addicted can be cured by your own will, people who keeps denying their addictions are those who are really engaged too much no matter they've hide and denies this issue will only put them deeper inside this activity, knowing or setting your limitations will help you to overcome such engagement, you just need to empower your mindset that gambling is a source of enjoyment and none other than that.

As long as you are not addicted, you can stay safe.
It's fun if you win but if not, gambling is just boring, the fact that they win most of the game, that's the thing that will
kill our bankroll.

Gambling is never a way to make easy money, so if one is aiming to be a millionaire, he needs extreme luck to do it.

Honestly is an impossible way when someone becomes a millionaire from gambling, some of the gamblers only get profit in the short term or just to be able to play the next day. This is what happened to me, I always play safe to be able to gamble the next day, and I have never experienced a big loss when gambling like the events experienced by the OP.

Of course it's like in the carnival where most house cheated their guest. If you are betting on this kind of game, then you should be aware of your surroundings and most importantly the shufflers movements.

Addiction is the last resort for a gambler at any level, so, be able to control the urge sometime saves the worst case scenario in gamble.

It is our mind who controlled everything we do and being on the trap of addiction seems to be controllable. The worst thing when we are in addiction, we are not open for any advice and we can't certainly stop it easily. Helping our self to open up our mind will only be they key to move away such cage and realize how bad it is.

That's a good story. In reality everyone should have such story so that they can stay away from being addicted to gambling. I also get motivation from my biggest lose. I made a lot by playing couple of hours at a row and lose everything less than an hour.

Many unsuccessful gambling stories are similar ones.  There are basically two types of them.

1- You start winning good in the beginning, got greedy and do not stop and go all in and lost the whole money

2- You started losing, you become desperate and say that you will play again to recover the loss and again loss. This cycle keeps on repeating and you lose all in the end.

That's where I am different. Trust me I do not play at a row if I start to lose. I give up and think that I will lose now as long as I continue. By the way, I am not a regular gambler. I can control my emotion and save my money.

Nice 1  .  count me in  as im only a casual gambler and i can also control my emotions easily  only on gambling but for video games im always raging all the time because i cannot accept my defeat  .

if i loose i then play again because in mind i want to revenge and recover the stars that i lost but it turns out that my gameplay are going bad because im in a bad mood  .

i believe that same scenario can also happen to gambling ,  once you loose . that is only a sign that you are badluck on that day  .  so dont ever dare to continue .

That is a good point. You know that if you continue playing gambling, you will lose more money. Saving money is more important than to lose the money especially in gambling games. We cannot rely on gambling because the hardest thing we don't know is when the luck will come and help us to win. And when you think you cannot win for more than 5 times, then it means you need to stop for a while from the games and perhaps you can do other things to calm down your emotion and come back again in the next days.

I have experienced also playing carnivals  which is it called color game.  it's very easy and simple you just need to pick a color then if your bet color is the result after the rolls you will win x2 depends of the amount you'll put on the color. Lol it's very fun and addicting games. But unfortunately we stop playing on it because of some players that sometimes fighting during and after the game.  Lol

After reading many people's experiences here, I start feeling like how miserably I am staying away from "actual" gambling life. I do gamble but for just for passing my time and not feeling the real heat of gambling. I gamble and I move on most of the time regardless of I am winning or losing. But, I do read here many gamblers are gambling from heart and taking home some big memories.

I was a defeated trader in forex and commodity. I have lost more than $20k by 2009 times. This may be the reason why I am just gambling and not making any rememberable stories.

No, trust me, if people don't want to learn their lessons, or if they are suffering from a gambling addiction, then 100 sad stories won't make a difference. I have some people close to me who have some gambling problems. It's a big thing in my society anyway. They all have friends or relatives who have terrible stories all caused by gambling addiction. But it didn't change things for them. They still got hooked and got carried away.

Good choice of directions, if you are a typical person who value your money and time, you can adjust and move away when you see that's there's no point continuing your activities, people who got this type of character have a strong will to control emotions and safely quit before losing a lots of money, problem is, not all gamblers have the same thinking most are careless and always been move by emotions.

At carnivals they try their best to make every game at a high level of difficulty for prizes to be preserved. I havent tried those cup games for I havent seen one but just toys for prizes.

Mostly I have a wow game story which happens in a poker game.
The way pro players makes you think they really have the winning cards for the suit.

There was one who won the championship for using a bluff and really made me wow.
Yes I do want to play long game and that is why I play tournament kinds. Just really for fun and to enjoy it.

In some occasions specially in card games i believe bluffing still in effect as i have also seen some players whos using the strategy even the truth is he has no chance of winning.and also i tried doing that in our local card games, sometimes i won sometimes i loss also

We're on this gambling game called "Guessing Game" (Three caps and one penny) which you can mostly see on carnivals.
Hmm, I don't know about this one. Well, I haven't visited carnivals for a long time so probably I'm no longer updated with newer games these days.
Maybe both of you got victimized by "budol-budol". For those who are not familiar with it, others say that it was a form of hypnotism and some says it was a manipulation technique in which the offender do everything (usually by talking a lot) to shift your attention into other direction and take advantage with you. Those only according to what I've heard from others, I am not so sure if I described it well since I haven't experienced this modus operandi.

I do think that there is a lot of cheating involved with some of the carnival games. I was recently in one, around October I believe, last year, and that's also my first time. I tried playing different games there, and I didn't win a large amount, but I did manage to get some goodies, like candies, stuff toy, etc. What I didn't get is money-back, unlike my friend, who I was with that time, tripled his money. I think that's a great achievement.

What I can't forget is that I saw in a game. It's the game where you shoot the bottles, and it seems like it's hard to do but there's a gimmick there, and it was glued to the table. There are a lot of cheats with those kinds of games.

When i was in the beginning of my career in gambling, i did not manage money well. This was the main reason why i lose money a lot in gambling because i keep on going to play gambling without any plan and emotions make me made many wrong decisions. Later on , when i become experienced, the one thing which i learnt with experience was that if we use money with some plan, we cannot lose much and the winning percentage will increase.

This is just a stupid way to cheat and the players who didn't see that glued also need to be blamed, but in real its still hard to win even if looks easy.If I am roght you need to hit nine bottle which arranged in a three row,the last bottle in the last row is hard to hit with three shoots.

In gambling, always decide happiness, and all the knowledge that the strategy has little importance in the gamble, but it has. Once I was drunk for roulette, and I raised from $ 50 to $ 450 and got out, and I learned it the next day.

It's a mistake many gamblers make. they play without paying attention to certain things such as self-control, strategy, plans and financial management. so they will be very easy to bankrupt. I think education is necessary so that each player does not experience big losses. so that makes great trauma for the story of their lives..

I will share a couple:

Gambling story #1 - My friends pick me up at the office to play on a casino near by. I don't want to play because I don't have the money, but I simply go with them. Just go around some slot machines and I noticed some money stuck in that machine, look around, so I usually pull the money and play. Ended up doubling the money.  ;D

Gambling story #2 - Won big the other night but return back the next day. I'm on the losing streak and almost all the money that I won the previous day is gone. I was so mad at myself and regretting my decision to come back because of my greed. But I decided to play since 90% of the money is gone anyways so I take the risk and play on another slot machine and max betting and during my last bet, I almost hit all wildcards and it was a big win. It was like my previous win 3x. Decided to play a few and then I stop with a huge windfall and never comeback for the next week or so and just enjoy my winnings.

If we can control our self, it absolutely it drain up everything we have in our pocket and most worst if sell our asset just for gambling.
I remember it with my friend, he commit illegal activities just to sustain his need in gambling. But in the end, he'll caught up and get jailed. Hopefully it won't happen to us, it is addiction who bring him into bad.

We used bet on Dice guessing game on Church fests. There is board with 6 columns where we can place our bets. Dice contained images on each side same as in the columns. The dice will be put into a can and he will shake it well. Then it will be placed on the board with the can upside down. We have to guess the image on the dice by placing bet on the right image. That was my first and unforgettable gambling story.

Sometimes I think some of this gambling centers stage the wininngs, with fake gamblers like the attractive ladies...this is just my thinking, I have never witnessed or heard one before.    Who knows, maybe the winnings and screaming are just to attract more gamblers to the centers.

Well, I will share one moment when I played in a traditional casino, last Thursday. I played on this slot machine, and sit beside one old lady. And then when I hit the first and second reel with the bonus and the third is rolling quick and its possible that I can hit the bonus, this lady suddenly jumps out of his chair and suddenly push my button.

She reasoned out that I could stop it and captured the third reel with the bonus. I don't know if I be mad at this lady or what, but I just decided to laugh it off.  ;D. Didn't get the bonus though, so I just stop and just look at other slot machines. Very weird but it really happens.  ;D

Yes, there can  be different tricks which the casino owners or managers may be playing to attract more and more gambler to their casinos, but it think that they cannot continue it for a long long time because after some time the gamblers will know about their tricks and then they may never like to visit such casinos and play gambling there. I think it is better to remain fair while running a casino and should facilitate the gambler so that they should come again and again there and enjoy gambling there.

Mine as well. I have played that kind of game in a carnival also and I do not even know that it was a gambling game because I am 10 years old by that time and since almost all the games are accessible for all the people even for the kids right at my age I have played that game and since I have an observant eyes when I was at that age, I have noticed the same trick done by that carnival employee on that game but I did not rant already because I have just bet a small amount on it but I am seriously get disappointed by that time because supposedly, I have win that and get my reward but he tricked a kid like me which I did not like. That is why when I have grown up already, I did not play any betting games in the carnival but just enjoy their rides and other games like shooting ball, firing and other stuffs. That is why on playing gambling, I only entrusted into an  online casino (https://to.crwd.cr/smtm) I am currently into because I do believe it will not cheat on me plus the convenience it gave me for playing enjoying variety of games they have plus a great bonus for doing my first deposit on it.

Let me share to you guys my most regrettable experience which made me despise gambling:

MY MOST REGRETTABLE EXPERIENCE:
We used to own a farm that contains full of chickens bred for fighting. Back when I was around 13 years old, my dad brought me and my brother to a cock-fighting arena since he has 4 fights scheduled. Before every round starts, there are two opposing sides called  A and B where each opponent fills the side. After that, people would bet on each other on which side would win. The lowest bet per round was around $10.

At first, I did not plan on betting my money since my dad gave me $10 as my birthday gift. But when I saw my older brother winning like 5 consecutive times, I got jealous and tried betting my $10 with hesitation. I prayed (hahaha the irony!) and asked God to bless me today as I am celebrating my birthday. Initially, I chose side A (since the chicken was tall and looked buffed) but my dad told me to bet on side B. Ultimately, I lost the bet and I gave my $10 to the stranger I betted with.

After my dad won 3/4 fights, we went home and I cried due to my frustration (my brother won a total of $100 from $10). I tried arguing that my dad was the one who betted on my behalf but they told me to NOT GAMBLE IF I CANNOT HANDLE THE LOSS AND WITHOUT EMBRACING THE CONSEQUENCE.

From this experience alone, I knew that gambling would never benefit me and in the long-run. It might have benefitted other people but I still believe that gambling revolves around luck. If the odds aren't on your favor, no matter what you do, you will lose and end up being frustrated!

That's a good story. In reality everyone should have such story so that they can stay away from being addicted to gambling. I also get motivation from my biggest lose. I made a lot by playing couple of hours at a row and lose everything less than an hour.
Actually our only enemy from being addict is our self and no one else.imagine that self control can stop this stupid wrong doings from happening but the problem is gambling really is undeniable addicting most specially in time where we are chasing to recover our losses or to gain instant amount

And from where does this gambling addiction comes from ? Going in the root cause will show that it is basically the greed which makes us addicted to gambling and if we are able to overcome this greediness than i am sure we will not see sad gambling stories which yield to death in extreme cases.

epic comeback
playing blackjack, losing in the first and second rounds, but there was still money for the third chance and finally I won everything to restore defeat in the first two rounds. it does not get a win if it is calculated from the money earned, but at least that epic comeback experience that I cannot possibly forget.

It is nice to see that you had a pleasurable gambling experience which not many would get such chance to get back their lost money and might end up losing more if continue gambling on such occasions . It is good that you ended up on a no profit and loss zone .

playing blackjack, losing in the first and second rounds, but there was still money for the third chance and finally I won everything to restore defeat in the first two rounds. it does not get a win if it is calculated from the money earned, but at least that epic comeback experience that I cannot possibly forget.

So congratulation you can restore your losses in the third times. I think you are so lucky because you don't need to wait too long to recover and get the money back although you still feel you lose.

That will be a moment that you will not forget and it will remain in your memory as that is the best luck you might have.

But you don't need to try again in the next times because I don't think that you will get the same thing as before. It's better to know that when you can win, it's time to quit gambling quickly.

Thats what we call perfect Luck mate ,its really unforgettable specially if you are not a gambling addict and just playing occasionally..its very rare for me experiencing that epic comeback because when i play what i have is Lucky from the start or losing continuously lol 😂

But everytime i remember those days gives me motivation to not becoming a gambling addict for i know there is no future ahead of me

             ~snip~
             ~snip~

             ~snip~

And from where does this gambling addiction comes from ? Going in the root cause will show that it is basically the greed which makes us addicted to gambling and if we are able to overcome this greediness than i am sure we will not see sad gambling stories which yield to death in extreme cases.
But the sad reality is this is harder than anything to resist the call of gambling and ends to death of someone, from this addiction

This is what is called a gambling world, everything can be unpredictable and when we do not pay attention then the event can be as you experience it. This is something that is already a risk for someone who wants to play gambling. Only a goal that will determine is whether we play gambling for the purpose of earning income or just limited to entertainment.

My family goes to our province when I was young and still innocent and there are improvise roulette game in the park that anyone can gamble if they want to, even you are a child for as long as you got money.

I never loses that night when I'm betting to my favorite color and number, as far as I remembered my money was only around $1.2 and it reached $20 with less than 30 minutes of playing so eventually I got hooked up and bet all of my money at once to my favorite number and guess what, I lose all of it of course but not with gambling.

Someone fkin' stole my money on the table and that man run fast leaving me crying and frustrated. Lesson learned for me though, you must never gamble to a crowded place when you are alone and young as there are people who would take advantage if you're winning. Memories makes me laugh when I remembered it  ;D

Good thing I haven't experience something like that because for sure I will not just do have you did because I will surely loose my patience for the fact that I must have win that game if he doesn't made some tricks even if I am a child by that time because it's my right to get what I deserve since I did not do illegal things for me not to be able to claim my prize. I would really love to know how convenient that online casino you were saying as well as the variety of games that I want to try.

but I am still happy to be still active in the crypto world.

Yes l have my unforgettable gambling story in my life because of gambling l lost my family because mu husband is addicted to gambling until we separated.Because we lost everything even our family was boken.
This should be the saddest gambling story I must say, we all have lost money, properties and what have you, but to lose a loved one due to gambling is heartbreaking really.
Gambling can turn into an addiction if not properly checked, and I think it's so sad your husband turned an addict and it became uncontrollable, thats why we need to checkmate our addiction to gambling.

I guess the owners of the gambling centers make a lot of money from deceiving desperate kids especially when their parents aren't with them
Hell yeah, during these times all we want was to try every games without knowing the value of money, as long as we can get another from our parents we will still try to insist that the game was fun even though we're just wasting the money. I'm sure of it, game owners are the ones whose having fun while we waste that money.

I can't forget my first winning in gambling, that is three years ago. I was able to manage winning almost 3 btc from a dice game which at that time has a value of more than $1k. It's a jackpot for me since I just started from small amount; probably 0.1 btc. Then I bought a gaming computer for that so I can be able to do more things as I'm still a student who needs a high performance computer.

Yeah but for me it's still a good decision as that asset makes me more productive to earn more in crypto specially in trading as I often use it in trading and gambling. Sure thing at that time we can't say that it will reach to $20k per 1 btc so there's nothing to blame in our decision.

I wish we can see the future, lol
If we can then we'll be on a cover of Forbes magazine XD

They manipulating and they know what number should stop that did not have much bet from players. Well, that is totally wasting money just like they are rubbing in front of you without knowing you. Nevertheless, if you gamble just for fun and okay for you to lose your money.

Maybe he was lucky 3 years back to win 3 BTC but the value of 3 BTC was not much at that time. Had he hold that btc, he would have become the most riches person in his society.
Sometimes I think it is better to hold our saving in bitcoins as  BTC value will increase with time, our Holding can make us millionaire one day.

Let’s admit that most of the people(even children’s)that turns to be gambling actives are those people that has problematic mind.and can not afford to think wisely and reasonable

I will tell a story that happened 4 years ago.

Its a one lucky day for me that I cant forget. My sister and I went to the mall to buy costume that she will use for their christmas party. While she's busy on choosing what to buy I decided to go to the 3rd floor of the mall and play in arcade.

Then I saw this lottery (keno lotto) where you can see the result for each round every 10 minutes. Since the ticket cost is cheap I tried my luck. I won $560, got 8 numbers out of 9. I only missed 1 number to hit the jackpot of $8k. But still its a big blessing because I only spent $3 for tickets.

Not mine, but my brother's experience. He loves betting at cockfights where he bets the salary he earns every month. There's this one time recently where he lost all the money he earned for a month (what I meant all means "ALL") nothing left, all his money lost, even his allowance for that month. I don't know if that will be his unforgettable experience in gambling but to me, it is. Besides from not giving some to us his family, he didn't even have some money for himself which is very stupid of him. I just hope he'll never do the same thing ever again.

I have a funny gambling experience as well. During back in college I am getting used of being alone because aside from I don't have a previous highschool classmate who went to the same course with me.. I am also a shy kid back then and as a fresh grad I was really left out. However I have found some classmates who accompanied me.

They are the so called lefties in the class community. Who are always absent in the class but always present on the drinking session. Fast forward, they brought me at the back houses outside our school and there I saw them gambling a unique game but is known in the philippines street gambling. I forgot the name of the game but the game mechanics is simple. You have to guess the 12 digit serial number at the back of the 20 peso bill. If who gets the  closest wins the game.

I did not play the game but the exciting and scary part is during that moment a police operations happens on the few houses away where we stayed and somebody shouted. So all of us got shocked and have immediately evacuated. Then here comes the tv news in the evening where I found out that one of my classmates who accompanied me was caught. That was the last time that I have followed them lol. 2 years after I graduated  I went back to that place and the gambling there are still rampant  having the maritime students as their main gamblers

My unforgettable gambling story goes like this: I once played a poker game and won 1300$ and then went all in again with additional 200$, this time around, I lost big time. That was last year November. Lesson learnt from this is to avoid greed in gambling.
In this scenario, you should learn how to stop if you had seen that you are already gain profited on a gamble. Because as my experienced, the longest you'd play gamble you have become a weaker player that might possible of loss.
I have different stories in gambling but there's one that I never forget in Primedice before, I accidentally hit the button max bet. I almost can't breath when the dice start rolling because I wagered a max bet, but luckily I won.

I deposited around $60 into a CS:GO skin-based crash casino site and came out with around $800 in winnings, though I only cashed out around $200 if my winnings and I managed to squander the rest of the money over the next few weeks that I played on the same site. I've had several other wins smaller than this on various crash sites, but nothing quite like it. I also don't gamble with CS:GO skins very often anymore.

Avoid greed on gambling is the hardest thing to do when you are on the mid way.Emotions plus impulsive decision making can really mess you up.Hard to resist and goes all in yet you knew that you might able to recover but it doesn't work that way.

My story is on losing up money on dice bigtime by accidentally press that all in button.

My gambling unforgettable movement came during the juat concluded 2019 edition of the Africa cup of nation tournament. I did successfully predict all the matches involving my national team without losing any. Predicted all our group stages matches correctly including our lost to Madagascar in the last group stage match. Also bet on us losing to Algeria my comments on the AFCON discussion thread can defend that although I was always hoping our national came prove me wrong but they couldn't and lost. Were i got it all wrong was the Senegal vs Algeria game (finals) I let my emotions take advantage of me and went for Senegal although Algeria have been the best team in the tournament reaching the finals without losing a single game. Well I lost that bet but still it was a fun experience.

Sorry for that, but yes, greedy is something we have to control in the gambling habit because the desire to win more and more will eventually leave us in great regret. Btw, I have a lot of stories about gambling from good to bad, but the sad story of me being almost bankrupt and having lots of loans will be an unforgettable story that I don't want to repeat again.

For me the unforgettable gambling story is the period when I was actively  betting in sports, especially on soccer. I was watching every matches, reading analyze of games, also once I decided to create thread here and had very successful results but then stopped because I had no time for betting, when I was betting, I actually had free time.
The reason why this moment is unforgettable for me is that at the moment I won 150$ in 0.1$, imagine how great odds I had in overall, nearly 1500, wish I would bet 1$ and higher. Also that day I won 60$ on 0.15$ freebet. That week I wasn't losing.

To me this unbelievable and unforgettable because it should never happen normally but the one time I placed a bet for a team to win its 2nd round against the same team it had just won with zero losses.
Instead what happened was the team that won flawlessly then in 2nd innings lost every single point without stop, they seem to have given up despite just receiving an easy win.   I have zero idea why that occurred but it matched exactly my biggest bet ever and I greatly regretted betting anything less then a full game, this was more of a side bet type proposition and it was a wild failure in this case.

Looking for a big price is really tempting and seeing one of your friends won the jackpot price is quite amazing. We can also be thinking for a try and hoping that we can make it and hit the lucky number, but somewhat it could be purely a bit of luck and sorry for myself which I don't have any luck in gambling and just lose my hard work money in buying lottery tickets.

You never know when you will be lucky in lottery because with just one win, you can win big and you'll be satisfied with that and you might not even think of gambling anymore. But it's sad if you buy lottery tickets not using your spare money as you would really feel the pain in the long run.

This is one of the sad areas of this gambling. Sometime you will feel that the best way to make money is through gambling and the current strategy you are using is one of the best strategies that exist but most time things don't work in that way and most time before you know you will see that you will start to see that loses is at your doorstep and if care is not taking you will see big loses in no time and it will always surpass the gain.

This is really very nice to see people earning such huge amount for gambling in case of buying lottery we actually depend on luck and this is all luck based game. In gaming I prefer learning because only learning gives me good profit. I personally waiting for this day when I will feel I can win I will gamble.

You are very lucky to win $1300 in a poker game because not all of the poker player can win those amount of money. Although right now, you are lost, I think you can get another big win someday but you should aware not to use too much money in a poker game or other gambling games. I agree that we need to avoid greed in gambling because we will lose more and more money.

Long story short... I once deposited around 300€ to play some poker online. Decided to go wild and play like a complete maniac. I didnt use the money for a tournament buy-in but played cash games. Within a couple of hours those 300€ became 30.000€ - I didnt stop and by the morning (I played from ~7 pm till 8 am) I lost it all... Its a crazy story I will never forget... Its hard and I can still enter the poker site, check my history and see it.

How can you keep playing while you have won a lot before, honestly what you did was a big mistake.

Different people has different mind sets,... That's just a common attitude for those whose gone crazy at the moment, because of the continuous winning  on the game without even thinking that they'll also lose their chances.
Even though it is a big mistake, it can't be avoided sometimes, so as long as you enjoy and it doesn't affect your family and lifestyle then just play the games that you wanted.

I'm mountaineer and I have been ten years for at least to climb a mountain. I have been hearing many people out there especially from my neighbor with my activitiy to climb a mountain. I have told that to climb one mountion I need $300 (depend on a distance to mountain that I'll climb) to spend for food and other equipment for my provisions later, and the fatigue that I will get when I go home later. And they were surprised by what I did, there is no profit from the activities that I did but I continued to do it every time I had a free time. I just told them, that is my hobby, I am willing to do everything as long as I didn't harm other people. And this thing was done by some gambler, as long as they get happiness from gambling and didn't harm other people I think it is reasonable thing to do.

I know this game. Of course the man cheats but your eyes cannot catch his hands moving so fast and I think he is also distracting your attention by his movement and talks. This is also so addicting. Mine was when I was a teenager yet also in a festival/carnival. Throwing coins on a board where the board was full of squares and each square has corresponding prizes written. It was not easy to shoot a coin in the middle of the square since the size was almost same size with the coin. If your coin dropped inside the square, you won the prize written in it but there are also empty squares. It was fun but it also finished all my pocket money and I won only 2 glasses that are made in China  ;D.

Well, I guess that I will tell my battle story. Back in 1993, I was playing blackjack at the Mirage casino in Las Vegas. It was a two deck game and there were lots of tens and face cards remaining in the decks, so I had placed a bigger bet of $300.00 USD. I was dealt 2 9s and the dealer was showing a 5. I split the 9s. When all was said and done, I ended up splitting 9's 3 more times, for a total of 4 hands. 1 of the hands had a 2 dealt on the 9 so I doubled down on that hand. I got a 7 for 18. After I had split four times, I got another 9 dealt and the dealer reminded me that I could not split anymore. The other two hands had 8s dealt on them. So I was sitting with 4 hands of either 18 or 17. None of the hands had a single 10 on them. The dealer then flips his card and there is a 6 under the 5. My card counting had indicated that there were a lot of 10s and faces in the deck. Needless to say, the dealer finally dealt that long overdue 10 value card. That certainly was a devastating blow. However, crazy me went to the ATM and got more money. Despite the bad hand, I believe that I actually won $5000 dollars that night.
It's hands like this that make me question the splitting 9 move, even though that is what basic strategy states.  :D

Indeed, gamblers will difficult to stop playing when they feel comfortable and get big profits, can be said they addicted. I think type of gambler like you have to control your emotions and don't get greedy.

I too have seen people who win good money in gambling initially but they never save their profits. They keep on investing the whole money and profits again and again in the gambling games and bets. So it only needs a single bet to lose all their money including the profit. This is called over confidence. If you are wining it does not mean that you will always win.

My unforgettable gambling story goes like this: I once played a poker game and won 1300$ and then went all in again with additional 200$, this time around, I lost big time. That was last year November. Lesson learnt from this is to avoid greed in gambling.

Beginners luck is a bad thing because if we lost earlier we may not get addicted to it but once we made money then keep losing will result in chasing and more and more money will be lost.Anyway we can try if we can afford the money or we have to accept it and move on to lead our life.
For me gambling is not addiction it is just a way to make money. Those who gets serious and make it an Egoistic issue will face bad time as I think if you consider yourself not suitable for gambling you can quit and again learn about gambling I am sure at second try you will win with your additional abilities.

There are so many gambling stories of joy and pain. Because the area is so uncertain that you just cannot really predict the outcomes of the game you are gambling at. It is always a best option to have an entry and exit plan and this helps save money in gambling. There are people who initially lose money but end up making the lost money with surplus.

I agree what you said about the entry and exit plan. This would really be helpful in setting your limits when it comes to gambling. Because once you are inside the casino or playing online, you feel the rush and you tend to forget about your financial status. A gambler should always think about this to avoid the heavy debt afterwards. Just play on what you can afford to lose.

My story is to be able to get good income every month from gambling, it is a history in the past and after a long break from gambling then start again, but somehow it really can't be repeated for the second time, until finally I realize gambling not a place to be relied upon as a regular income.

We were kids at that time. I'm in 7th grade maybe, and my younger brother was in 3rd grade. There was a carnival in our place and we used to go there. I was old enough to look after my brother so our parents allowed us to go. Besides, the carnival was not that far from our home.

The 'dice' of different colors was our favorite game. So I asked my brother which color he liked to bet on and he told me green. He's so lucky with such games so I placed $1 on that color. ($1 is already a huge amount of money in our currency, and we were kids. It's not like we get to have that amount every day. ;D) Fortunately, the green side appeared; two of them which means our bet is doubled. But when our price was placed on the table, someone took it. We  ran after him but weren't able to catch up on him because he was so fast and the place was filled with so many people. Maybe he knew that we don't have an adult with us. What a culprit!  :( Anyway, it's all in the past. We'll be more careful next time.

Whether person loses or wins in gambling, they would not stop because they love gambling.
When we are winning, we still want to continue because we want to win more (that's greediness), and if we loss, we don't stop because we want to win back our loses ( that's immaturity.

It's necessary to learn to educate ourselves, otherwise, there's no room for success for us in gambling.

This is the common experience each and every gambler could've faced during the early days of their gambling. Some learn it through games without spending and further get into real gambling which is the best practice than just betting without any basic knowledge on gambling. Another set of people just get caught into hands of scam gambling websites and loss big. This too needs to be considered before stepping into any of the gambling websites.

I think beginners will have great luck than the old gambler because they don't have any experience and the luck will come to them. But if they cannot hold themselves, they will slowly turn become addicted to gambling, and we already see those people around us. So if you don't want to become addicted to gambling, you know how to control yourself before it's too late. And I am sure some of them can hold themselves so they can prevent from becoming addicted to gambling.

Well actually they will not stop when they win a lot, even when they lose they will still be chasing profit to return the loss. He was pretty good at changing 300€ to 30000€, but unfortunately he didn't manage his gambling well. A great gambler will always manage profit and loss well, I think he is a newbie.

That's a rhetorical question dude, why don't you stop when you're profit? you will realize it and understand the answer when you gamble and make a profit, you will feel an incredible sensation, and you must have the ambition to add more profits and play longer. thats the fact

That is what happens to gamblers when they can win big money. They will not stop, and they will play the games because they want to make another win. But if they realize and could think that it is enough for them to get the win money, they should stop and don't back to the game on that day. They can come back in the other days to repeat their win, but that is not always happening.

You are right those people who are winning never stop gambling because of earning good income. The more you will gamble it will make you more experienced. Lose and profit is all about the gambler he should be careful and gamble after gaining good experience and knowledge so that your loss will be zero and earning will be more than your expectations.

If they wont stop gambling , their winnings will eventually dissapeared because in gambling you cant win all the times . only few people can earn good income but these people are smart enough and wont gamble oftenly .

It depends on the games . playing dice games cant really be beneficial but playing other skill based games can give you experience that you can use to improve your play  .

My most unforgettable stories is when I was at 11 years I always gambled with my friends through toss coins, then when I turned 14 years old I became addicted at Dice games and lucky 9 using card. I most often won in this games but when my parents discovered me that I'm doing this they've punished me and because of that I stopped playing with it.

Haha you are too extreme, gambling is not allowed for kids but you are instead playing gambling at 11 years old, it's still too early for kids. I myself played gambling when I was in high school, and even then because I tried and was curious about gambling games. At that time I was warned by my friend, not to play gambling because it can make our psychology addictive. And sure enough, I had become addicted at the time, addicted to winning when I won a lot and addicted to chasing losses when I lost. I thought I was very stupid, playing gambling when my thoughts were not fully mature.

The most unforgivable and unforgettable gambling story for myself is I decided to invest in the bankroll of some gambling websites and divided an amount of 0.5 BTC to 5 gambling sites. But after some days, I end up betting all my investment and losing it all except for one site which had a lock in period.
I have since then tried not to bet away my investment and have been successful mostly except once.

My unforgettable experience in gambling is when I bet my 100 dollars in a game and lose it all instantly. I never did it in my life but because of addiction, I was dictated by my emotions. Yet, it is too small for others but in a person like me it is already large amount to be losed lost in a game.
Every money is important no matter how much is it, it doesn't matter who own it, it's just being misused to some unnecessary things such as gambling games. So never unders= value a $100 dollar as it is still have a value and not worthless compared to things that we've been doing these past days, weeks or even years. Just get a hold of your money and think carefully every time you spend it.

I have no experience yet but still I like to gamble with dice I am yet learning about it by sharing experience of my friends I am sure one day i am going to be a good gambler. Soon I will share my profitable story with all of you.

Aren't you all acting a little naive? These are all but stories. None of what any of you have said can actually be verified. In a way you guys are promoting gambling to newbies. When it should be the opposite, no? At least I think so. As a newbie you are wanting to make money, you come in with that mentality, and when you lose, you can't cope with it. I've seen so many heartbreaking real stories that I would not even like to discuss what happened in each of those cases.

If you can't afford to gamble, don't gamble, it's a simple as that. Gambling isn't a poor man's game. If you're literally spending your weekly food budget on gambling, then you've got issues.
