He says bitcoin has a "lousy" store of value, but what about the dollar? Sure, on a short time frame of weeks or months, the dollar holds it's value relatively well. But on the scale of years, dollars are guaranteed to lose value. Plus, there's a risk that the Fed could screw up and tank the dollar even more rapidly. I don't know why anyone would keep fiat cash in their bank account greater than what they need for the next six months, or a year tops. So I'd gladly take a higher risk investment that has potentially huge gains instead of one that is guaranteed to lose slowly.
